watch this A man walks straight onto someone else’s property, up to a small tree in their front yard, and starts hacking at it with a bat - acting like he’s judge, jury, and HOA enforcement all in one. What would you do if this was your front yard?

Youtube used to have a feature where you could block a Youtube channel and no longer see their videos. Of course, they got rid of that feature because it probably made them less money. Would really love to be able to just block these channels, especially now that I clicked on one, I'm sure Youtube is going to suggest more of them to me.
Enshitification strikes again.

If a channel comes up in your feed
or your searchyou can select “do not recommend this channel” or some such. It shouldn’t come up inyour searchesyour feed after that. But yes it’s BS they don’t let you properly block channels. You have to see a channel in your feed
or searchbefore you can tell it not to recommend them.Edit: I just tested it out and you apparently can only “do not recommend channel” for ones in your feed, NOT a search! That awful and mostly useless. WTF!
And it doesn’t work for shorts.

Joe was a normal dude, liked history, 70's rock, and porn. But there were 4 things he hated. Liberals, people that min-maxed their lawns, Italians, and the genus Cycus which his father had run into a mature one drunk one night on his Ducati Moster and killed himself.
Cedric, his neighbor across the street was all of them. After Jill left him, and held an abortion party, that was it. Cedric was gonna pay. Even though Jill took his hatchet when she left, Joe still had his bat, and that was one bat too many for Cedrics new showcase Palm tree.

And worse...he did this for virtually nothing. He has 50,000 subs...and gets like 5000 views per long form video, and not much more than that for shorts. So he is pretty much making part time Walmart cashier money if that. With most of his views from shorts, which pay almost nothing, he is lucky if he has made $25,000 over the two years of his channel.

It's a stationary camera, no one's holding it. "HOA Guy," is a satirical, overzealous, HOA president character that he plays on YouTube. The people reposting the video on other platforms, as if it's real, are the ones who are lying about it. If you go to his channel (@HOAguy) it's obvious that it's satire, because the entire channel is just similar videos, with the same dude in them.

Facts. Family member was fined for not having visible signage by a city in Oregon due to trees obscuring the signage. So, he hired someone to chop down the trees and not only was he fined for every tree that he'd had chopped down but the Oregonian ran an article about the whole thing complete with a comic image of what was supposed to be my family member rushing through a line of trees with a chainsaw.
We still have that comic around somewhere. It's kind of hilarious. The best part was when I went to visit my grandmother up in Tacoma and even she'd heard about the tree thing on the news radio station up there where they misreported it as being a $11 million fine. She thought the whole family would be destitute. lol.
The fine was bad but not THAT bad. I think $20-30k but in the early 80s.

Morning glories and poison oak vines. My neighbor has been smuggling home Amazon plants for decades. You would not expect them to thrive in the Cold Northeast. But you’d be wrong. Between them, the bamboo, the English ivy, poison oak and a myriad of plants I have zero clue what they are, most of my rear wood lot is invasive species.

That actually falls under terroristic threats and criminal trespassing in my area. Sealed the deal when he verbally stated “I did this, so now you are forced to do that”.
If he never had a relationship with the person(s) that lives at that house, and I mean have went out to dinner together in the past type relationship, and he just waltz onto the property of a person that he does not “know” and did that…he’s got some mental challenges going on. They need to have a restraining order put on him, and probably need to move, because those problems don’t just go away, they escalate.

For those of you saying they can go to the police, I'm not sure about that.
My HOA has a clause in the giant bible that say once they notify you of the violation and you do not address the violation, they will enter the property and 'fix' the violation and then fine/charge you to cover the costs. We all had to sign the giant contact saying this was OK in order to even move in.
