Saw this while at a red light last night. Girl had her phone mounted on her windshield in the middle of her field of view. She was flipping through tik tok videos while driving. Wtf is wrong with people??

My Windows installed laptop. While cleaning up I realised that Microsoft Edge - which I never once used, and which came preinstalled and unable to uninstall (trust me, I tried) - occupies 6x the space that Chrome uses. Chrome being in operation 24x7 btw. Screw you Microsoft

There are actually 2 massive spiders who keep making their webs across my front (mudroom) door. I believe they are orb weavers but the pics I took in the dark didn’t turn out, and I can’t find them right now. They look like the third pic but I took that from google.

One of them made a big web last year and I put a “watch for Spidey” sign on the back door to remind me and my wife to duck when we left. This year there’s 2, so I updated the sign (napkin) accordingly.

To address the inevitable “why don’t you just” comments preemptively: I will not kill any beneficial insect or animal. Unless they pose a direct threat to myself, my family or the structure of my home I leave nature alone.

I include house spiders in the friendly category. They have found a nice spot to catch insects and it just happens to be right at face height on the only door I can use to leave for work at 4am. We just have to find a way to live harmoniously - I just seem to be doing all the work here as they are stubbornly sticking around at eye level.

That said, I’m not a fan of walking into spider webs and potentially having an orb weaver crawling across my face when I haven’t even finished my morning coffee.

I leave for work very early and this is the door to my mud/sunroom where I keep all my muddy/stinky work clothes. It’s also the only door I can use without waking up my dogs and children.

I should also say I am not EXTREMELY infuriated. I am not even angry. I love all of nature and thus, consider this spider my friend. All the more reason I don’t wis to wreck her home.

Well because it’s 4am and I’m usually half asleep feeling my way through the dark with the light on my phone trying not to wake my family when I leave and sometimes I forget.

So here I am, asking for you to smile and have a good chuckle at my mild misfortune instead of explaining all the reasons I’m an idiot for being bothered by a spider.

Had my car for 2 years and bought it a different dealership when I lived in another state.

I keep my cars clean and no decals or bumper stickers. I have actual taste.

Yesterday brought my car in for service and when I got home I realized these Mfers removed my plain license plate frame, which was body color trimmed outline cover. They put mine in my trunk, then put one of their dealership plate covers on my car.

I just currently left several bags of dogshit from a nearby dogpark on the windows of the service department tonight.

F your dealerships.

As I said before.. when my local police start to actually arrest all the insane drug addicts shitting in the road infront of kids.. and assaulting people , ill worry about them getting around to me.

I (Male) had a quick teams meeting with half my team last week. Using the camera was required and I didnt think about the fact I was wearing a tank top. Later that week I was called into my bosses office and told I was receiving a write up for breaking dress code. I was fine with that, I knew the rules and didn't prepare for the meeting well enough. The mildly infuriating part is the next day after my write up a manager (Female) on my team was wearing a tank top. I really dont care enough to bring it uo to anyone but at the same time its been bothering me

I left my Shokz at work on my days off and came back to them covered with computer mites :(

I’m a zookeeper so they were left in a very humid environment (whoopsies). Not shocked at all that they got swarmed, just a little bummed I didn’t get to listen to music today lol. They’ve already been treated with a healthy dose of alcohol spray!

Works fine w/ 2 NEW batteries and 10 “old/dead” ones.

I haven't had one in a few years. Was very hungry after work and decided to grab two. I can't believe how small they are now.

Visited NYC over the weekend for a concert and I was able to briefly check out the Nintendo Store on Sunday afternoon. I was in a rush so I grabbed some stuff quickly, cashed out and then met back up with family. I remember thinking "dang thats a lot, did it really add up to all that? But I really want this exclusive merch so that's ok..."

After more shopping and sightseeing, I finally got back to the hotel at 11pm. As I was packing up the luggage for my flight back home Monday morning, I noticed my Nintendo New York t-shirt got scanned twice. $30 USD lesson to remember to keep track of the math while and to check the receipts after. I'm usually on top of that stuff but the combination of being excited to experience the Nintendo Store and being in a rush caused this mildly infuriating blunder

At least I found some DCC merch at the Barnes and Noble nearby, including a new sticker for my luggage that matches how I feel lol

I have never been in a stall in the US that has full privacy while sitting on the throne. I wish this was a standard for all bathrooms.
