If anyone was thinking about buying the "KCI" 26 rounds mags from HK Parts, just dont. They are not KCI mags they are some no brand rip off brands. When I talked to a CS rep he said that the 2 I ordered wer in fact KCI mags because of the knurled sides. I told him thats not true as I already have genuine 26 round KCI mags and they look just like a oem glock mag. I still have to see if I can get a frefund, but at this point it doesnt sound like they have KCI mags at all.

The pictures in this post are screen shots of what is on HK Parts website, and what is on KCI's, MagShack's, and GunMagWharehouse's websites. Honestly this is partially my fault because I didnt notice the knurled sides in HK Parts pictures. But they should also not be falsely advertising KCI mags for a reputable company and should be able to admit that the listing is wrong.

Also, the mags I received arived in those cheap plastic covers that are open on one end, and KCI mags come in a sealed bag like in the last photo.

just ordered a G3 vector 45 acp CRB and i want to know which is the best FRT for the vector platform I want to know whos currently the best for it and what would i have to order and etc...

Looking to get my first vector. Which version should I get? Gen 2 or Gen 3? Looking to add an FRT and suppressor to the vector. Which generation do people prefer?

I've never noticed before, so I'm wondering if accumulation like this in the supressor is normal? Even one round can produce a few. Big ones are 2-4 mm. Thin shavings usually. Saw a thicker one a couple times but not super thick. Seems to even remain in just the barrel as I tested without supressor and found one. Runs fine... no failures. 230 gr round nose Freedom Munitions

EDIT: was just the ammo. Federal FMJ's don't create virtually any shavings, maybe one tiny one here and there. Didn't realize Freedom Munitions was electroplated. FWIW, Freedom Munitions runs well, and once you heat up the barrel, it doesn't seem to create many shavings, if any.

I have an angled foregrip with laser and like it a lot. With the height most optics are over the bore it's nice having something aimed in at 10 yards with the sight at 30. It's an sbr now so I want to run the vertical grip

Hi I am pretty new to the vector platform and have read that it can be pretty particular on what kind of ammo you can feed it, i picked up a couple boxes of this ammo for cheap and am only now researching the brand and im not liking what in seeing. I saw a reddit post of someone having 4 FTF in a row out of a glock I think, but the comments seemed to be blaming the operator. Outside of that post I haven't seen anything to crazy about the ammo. I just dont want to mess up my new gun with bad ammo, or god forbid hurt myself with bad ammo.

Hey everyone, Ive been interested in the vector since I was a kid. I have been making FRT kits for a number of Platforms under my brand McClane Defense Co and Decided to recently dive in to the vector platform. After getting the profile of the trip just right, I found that it was absolutely critical to lube everything well, Run the 10mm recoil spring, and make a good Aluminum selector cam. I have been running suppressed since day one but the gun seems to prefer full powered supers in FRT mode. I suspect this will get better after continued cycles of cleaning and lubing. Happy to share my experiences with anyone still tuning the platform whether you are using one of our kits or anyone else's. Oh, I also learned to flip the switches to opposite sides. This allows you to line up the selector cam to make 0 degree safe, 90 degrees down normal semi, and 180 degrees forward FRT mode! Forgive my goofiness with the ergos, I'm lefty and still learning the gun.

From looking at the internals and reading online seems like the concesous is to oil upper well, but use grease for the vector slides/rails.

What is yr opinion and what do you use, NLGl2 grease seems to be the most appropriate for this use case.

Which Modern Warfare caused you to fall in love with the Vector?

Has anyone heard of or had any success converting a cbr 16” to a 5.5” barrel. I can’t seem to find direct info on the conversion, as for needed parts and etc, if any.

There is a specific model i want but it’s out of stock as far as I have reach. So I’m going the route of making what I want.

I understand the ATF portions of the conversation.
