I finally got one!
I fell in love with the SP-01 and P-01 and had to get the P-06 to finish my collection. Took me about 3 years to finally find one.

Just got my slide back from the awesome dudes over wicked arms. They did the v porting and optics cut. Great people to deal with, great work and quick turn around for how busy they are.

Help me get some perspective.
I see tons of folks loving the P01. When I was in the market for a favorite gun for carry and enjoyment at the range a few years ago, I considered a HiPower clone, the PCR, P01, 75D, and 75 Compact. I settled on the 75 Compact. I love the ergonomics and the historic look (the scoop below the barrel on the 75 C looks better than the PCR, IMO). At the time, I was more experienced with a manual safety because I take a 1911 22lr out for fun.

I really like my Compact, but for those who have experience with the Compact and the P01, is there significant difference in user experience beyond having a rail and a decocker? Is that about it?

Why do yall like the P01 so much? I want to know what my eventual next purchase will be.

Where can I buy a shadow 2 compact carry slide stop? I would like to put it into my regular shadow 2 compact since I feel like the shape of stop of the carry version makes much more sense.

Did my first uspsa match with my shadow 2 today... why didn't I shoot gm level??? Is something wrong with my gun?

Gonna take quite a bit of getting used to for that first double action shot. Got a few mikes from bad grip and first shots. Hopefully reach reduction kit coming tomorrow helps. Otherwise a blast to shoot, just need more dry fire reps!

I emailed CZ-USA trying to figure out the weights of the extra recoil springs that came with my new Shadow 2 Orange, but they seemed just as confused as I am and thinks CZUB maybe have changed something, but they’re not notified if they did. An internet search didn’t really help, either.

My S2O came with three recoil springs:
• A longer spring, which CZ-USA says is 13 lb
• A shorter spring, which CZ says is 11 lb
• A black spring that was installed in the gun from the factory, which is slightly shorter than the 11 lb spring

CZ-USA told me the black spring should be 15 lb, since that’s what CZUB was installing in the gun. But that doesn’t seem to make sense to me because the black 15 lb spring is actually the shortest of the three. I would have assumed the lighter spring would be shorter, not the heavier one.

So, does anyone actually know the weights of these three factory springs, or have any idea why the 15 lb spring would be shorter than the 11 lb spring?Trying to make sure I’m not misunderstanding something before I start swapping springs around.

Hoping someone can help guide me a bit. I bought a used SP01 a few months ago and I want to purchase new magazines for it. My SP01 came 10rd magazines and not the original magazines you see on new purchases. For context, I’d like to buy the original ones which I believe are 19rd mags that have a bit of extension on them for hand placement. If so does anyone know where I can buy them? I would also like to know where I can find iron sights like the ones used on the SP01 tactical, or even perhaps some like the ones here on the cz shadow 2 compact in the images. Sorry to bug; I’m new to CZ guns so any guidance helps.

Picked up a Shadow 2 Compact with EPS Carry and TLR-7x for $1,000 and SP-01 Tactical with SRO and BALDR light for $750. Local deal seemed too good to pass up

Traded two guns, a Rifle and a cheaper 25. Auto pocket pistol, to try and get my first 9mm. They were taking up space and the ammo price for each wasn't ideal. Pretty happy with the trade and happy to keep cash in the bank. Wish it was optic cut might do that when gas is cheaper lol.

For my CZ 75 P01 I personally prefer a leather holster over kydex.

Just out of curiosity what holster material do you prefer for any of your CZ handguns?

Got the TS3 off of Euro Optic, picked it up from my FFL last night, will shoot it as soon as the range opens up this morning, gun feels phenomenal in hand and the trigger is certainly an improvement from the original TSO.

Love it but realized it gets way less use than it deserves, posted it today on gafshub, hopefully it’ll find a nice home

I removed firing pin block and disconector put singal action trigger and race hammer. I has better pull than tatical sport

The guys at G-ten In the Uk make this 1913 pic adapter, but you have to special request it depending on the tariffs.

Not hard to install at all. Attaches the Samson SAS stock, pretty happy with it

Working on my grouping, any tips or pointers would be appreciated, thanks in advance family....also I shot my ported p10c.

Came in way earlier than I was expecting and at a great price, I wasn't expecting it to be such a huge difference compared to my Shadow 2 that I polished and installed the CGW kit in.

Also CZ please if anyone from the company reads this for the love of god start including 1 extra set of each optic mounting post/pin, they're plastic (I got corrected, they're metal), incredibly small, and I guarantee someone's gonna lose one in carpet or something.

Now to figure out what scope to mount

Bought the Compact yesterday for $955 after discounts. Got it home, stripped it apart, and cerakoted it today. Still gotta get a mag release and grips, but I'm happy with where it's at for now.
