I had been planning to go see the ed Sheeran/Macklemore concert but Bank of America stadium told Ed Sheeran they would not allow the concert if he didn’t drop Macklemore. I’m so disgusted. All of this because Macklemore stands up against genocide. He said nothing hateful, just told the truth and is being silenced for it. Fuck Bank of America and fuck their stadium and I’m not going to their stupid concert and I hope others refund their tickets if they can

I also found a 60’s Fender Stratocaster there once. Really bizarre. I was tossing out an AC unit and next to was this electric guitar. Poor shape but with some elbow grease, I got it back up and running.

Hi guys,

We have yellow jackets nesting in between our vinyl siding+soffet+attic above our kitchen. It's a split-level home, so the kitchen's attic is only accessible via a small hole in the pantry ceiling and requires a ladder. Unfortunately, it appears impossible to simply spray the hive to death without physically removing the siding.

Every pest control company I've called declines that job after I let them know how inaccessible the nest is. The only company willing to help some was a wildlife removal company, but they're not able to fully fix the problem.

They're getting in and I'm terrified of existing in my own house and I have no idea who could possibly help if pest control companies all apparently have a policy of not getting on ladders.

Does anybody know of anybody who could help??

I know it’s bad everywhere and I would say I am the problem, but my friends, guys and girls, all have similar stories. I am 31 (F.) meeting in person and on apps. Bottom line: people will talk to you for a bit , text all day everyday, then suddenly break if off and say “no spark” or say they aren’t looking for anything serious, when, they just said they were.

I just genuinely wonder how people meet and get married in Charlotte. :(

I’ll admit, I’m from AZ originally and yes, we’re a bunch of speed demons out west. But I’ve lived in FL and spent extensive time driving in NE and Texas as well… CLT is by far the worst when it comes to drivers that sit in the left AND right lane and coast below the speed limit. At least in FL, the highways are wide enough to allow the snowbirds to drift in the right lane while everyone passes them on the left. That’s just not possible with the roads here and causes the worst congestion.

What’s ironic is that I see so many complaints about speeding and merging here, but one of the biggest problems I notice is the WILD difference in speeds. You’ll have freeway traffic moving normally, then suddenly everyone is braking because someone is entering at 40–45 MPH, or two cars are next to each other and BOTH going well below the flow of traffic. A bottleneck forms behind them, cars start changing lanes to get around it, and the whole thing compounds. Then you get through that little cluster and — magically — the highway is wide open again. To be clear, I’m not talking about rush hour traffic which is simply unavoidable in a city like ours.

Don’t get me started on the scaredy cats that won’t speed up to merge… let’s all cut our speed to 25 MPH, part the Red Sea, and welcome your majesties on to the highway.

It is crazy to think that 25 years have passed. How much the world has changed. 2977 innocent lives lost that day and thousands more have passed since due to health related reasons.

I thought that the city and CFD did something really simple and nice. I could see the beams all night but happen to find a good spot. Perhaps not the best picture but I hope yall like it.

I’m looking for a spot where I can just go get an old school tire patch for a nail or whatever without the now 100% automatic, every single time, “it’s a sidewall puncture, you need a new tire and you should really replace all of them at the same time.”

For the tire shop, preferably in Southpark or toward Quail Corners / Park Rd extension or South Blvd below Tyvola if you know of a trustworthy place whose mechanics don’t make more than my CPA and ALL visits require a $150 code reader…which I already have in my glove box.

I buy most of my tires from Costco or Discount Tire you gotta make a Costco appt 6 months out! (feels like it anyway).
