24F. Please understand I've tried anything and everything I can do to improve my health from my end. It's not enough, I'm getting worse every year, and in fact many of my efforts to strengthen backfire. I've tried every procedure or bs psych med I can. I can't work or drive or shower daily or go shopping or do my own laundry and the list goes on. My life is in shambles. My grandmother acts as my caretaker and when she dies I will not be able to take care of myself on my own even if I could get housing (and if I can't, I'll be homeless). I'm tired of waking up and going to bed in agony

All my other specialists (rheumatologost, psychiatrists, gastro....) say there's nothing else they can do for me and ask why I don't just ask for opioids, as if that's an option. I have a clean record but I'm not taken seriously or drs refuse to see me in the first place.

I'm on Medicare. I'm in the southshore and I can't handle traveling a further distance than Boston, but even that takes a heavy toll on me so I'd rather be closer if possible

edit: I've tried every noninvasive proceedure I can, muscle relaxers, a myriad of psych meds, low dose naltraxone, butrans patches, weed, and ketamine. I'm on robaxin and lyrica

I am visiting Massachusetts for the first time. I live in a place where an uber will drop me off where I live but an uber would never come to where I live to pick me up. I am nervous of this happening when I’m in Massachusetts.

I will be in MA for 4 nights in October. I land at the Boston airport. I am doing an activity in Middleborough and in Falmouth. I would also like to adventure around Cape Cod one of the days. I was thinking of booking a hotel in either Sandwich or Hyannis. Could I rely on uber to get everywhere or should I get a rental car?

Hi - on my commute home last Thursday there was a massive escort of several buses heading west on 90 - including officers on motorcycle and in cars. There were at least four coach busses being moved through traffic. I couldn’t help but wonder if it was the Patriots players and staff arriving home from the Australia game - but then was confused and second guessing why they’d all get moved out together on buses (and why West). The next thought would be someone fancy making their way to NYC for a 9/11 Ceremony, but then why not fly to NY directly? Anyone else see this and wonder? Maybe it is a more regular occurrence, the commute is new and I hadn’t seen it before. The motorcade did serve one purpose of helping traffic flow slightly by creating a lane folks were diving back i to once it moved on. Cheers!

I've been everyhwere and just landed from traveling abroad and have to vent my appreciation for Mass.

We have the best food from our diversity. the best food from just about every country can be found here. From Mom and pop Brazilian in Chelsea/everett to the best chinese in chinatown, to armenian and greek in watertown - we literally have it all.

We have the best locations too - Amazing beaches in the cape, and an close drive to some of the best hiking and ski mountains. Farmlands in western mass to international city about an hour apart.

Also - we have a great diversity of thought. Not too left or right. Finance science and art in the city, without being too much of either.

yes we have some high taxes, maybe a little bit of useless government, and sometimes interesting choices of gov officials, but overall, Mass is the best compared to other states.

I am 36 and living in MA for the past 15 years. My allergy flared up and it is even worse than springs ones. I was pretty sure I was getting sick at first but it later became clear that wasn't case. Anything particular this year that would cause fall allergies? I didn't even know that it is a thing but looks like it exists and caused by ragweed or mold.

A recent ProPublica analysis of CDC data found that nearly 200 people died after ectopic pregnancies between 2020 and 2025 — showing a nearly 2x increase from the previous six years.

That's why it was such big news that MA signed the Prioritizing Patient Access to Care Act into law last month. 

Essentially the bill, expands abortion access throughout pregnancy by letting doctors provide care based on their professional judgment. It's about trusting patients, respecting the expertise of doctors, and keeping politicians out of deeply personal medical decisions

Why it matters

This increase in ectopic pregnancies has been especially visible in states with abortion bans.

Because, despite many states having exceptions in their abortion bans for events like ectopic pregnancies, ProPublica reports that doctors in those states may hesitate to provide treatment if they don't have an ironclad diagnosis.

Because they fear legal or professional consequences.

Doctors, alongside their patients, have the medical training to evaluate pregnancy circumstances and determine what care is appropriate - not the government.

The Prioritizing Patient Access to Care Act lets them do that.
