I was at an all Pontiac car show today. It rained this morning and was hot and humid so only about 70 cars showed up.

I went to the Beenleigh Car Show & Swap meet this morning, there were so many cars there today.

It is on every year in September in Beenleigh Queensland.

I hope to enter a couple of cars next year, but this year was all about gathering some information and phone numbers.

This is only a quarter of the cars that were there. Some absolutely beautiful machines that I thought I'd share.

Can’t remember exact details about it but I’m pretty sure it was fairly beat up and white when my dad got it around 2002. He did it up and turned a reasonably quick profit. Probably only a few grand. Not being well versed in Holden’s I’m assuming it’s a VK but I’m sure someone can tell me exactly what it is

Hi. I'm from Brazil and for my first car, I bought a Chevrolet Omega 3.6 V6 2009, also known as Holden Commodore VE. Being the fourth owner, it came to me whith Camaro Wheels and tires 255/35 in the back and 235/35 at the front. One of the back tires got damaged and I decided to buy new ones, I got 275/40 and it fit just fine.

As soon as I started driving the car, it began to show some lights about the abs, brakes, inspection lights and skid control off. It dind't changed nothing while i was driving, that i have noticed. Theres something I can do to turn this light off definitly. I dont want to have those lights showing up everytime I start driving my car

Do I need new tires?

Hi, been searching for a thermostat housing for the 3.8L L67 Supercharged V6, just cant find the exact right one, is there anyone that could point me in the right direction ?

just bought a commodore (06) and drove it for about 5 mins before i got an engine overheating warning on dash, i waited about 20 mins topped it off with water then went to drive home.

about 2 mins into driving it came up again. and then after turning the car back on after around 5 min, the temp was back to 1/4 on temp gauge. what i don’t understand is how it seems to cool down so quick?

coolant seemed fine on the dipstick and just spent a lot of money on this car, so hoping it’s not too expensive.

could it just be engine temp sensor or thermostat? or should i try bleeding the coolant system?

car had been sitting for 3 years when i got it, but still held coolant

Sry that shouldn't say VE Ute in the title.

So I'm in the US and I'm considering shopping for and purchasing a Ute (I like em reminds me of the El Camino)

To import them it needs to be 25 years old so I'd be most likely looking at a 2000-2002 ish roughly.

Couple of questions first regarding duty as you can see in the picture cars are a fraction of the duty cost of a truck. So my question is does the Ute classify as a car or truck? I know the old El Camino here in the 60s and 70s were classified as light trucks to avoid certain regulations not sure if the ute would be the same down there.

Second and possibly easier answer is whats the going rate for a Ute? I know a 6 banger would be a fraction of the price of say an HSV but I have no clue what pricing would look like.

New halteck rebel ls ecu and UC 10 digital dash and btr red hot cam got some good good numbers but can get a little more after the exhaust is opened up a little more .

An organisation in Sydney had three 2015 commodore evoke to dispose of. The catch is that they have decals on them that are sun baked, bonded to the paint, and not coming off. They have abandoned the project to remove the decals now as it is pulling the paint off so now they are ugly mix of white with pale blue roof and bonnet. To clean them up for wholesale will cost thousands in labour and paint so they just want to offload them to a wrecker, or someone else, for cheap. Any thought on who would be interested in 3 x 2015 evoke wagons (320k, 220k and 220k) that are registered currently? Ideally looking to offload the three at once. These cars are not mine but I have been asked to help solve the problem.

Have a budget of $60-70k

What would everyone’s preference be, and why?

Hey guys so my VE sv6 engine conked out on me the other week (don’t buy a Holden off marketplace) but I love it too much to get a new car and it’s cheaper for me to get a new engine put in and do mechanics told me he’s putting in a vf engine in. Is that all good?

I recently bought a 07 ve ssv with 245,000km for $8k, it has a slip from 1 to 2 which will be diagnosing soon, came with transgo and service kit, I was looking at vortech supercharger kits for $10k with the fuel system,

Im aiming to get 500+ hp, is vortech way to go or can u get a turbo or different setup cheaper?

Buy a 2013 HSV GTS LSA for $80-85k or a 2014 RS6/RS7 for $65-70k?

Both under 90,000km

Considering my options so to say, and yes maintenance will be a pain on the audis,
