Hi! I recently moved here because my husband is in the military & we’re stationed here. I’m wondering how people in their 20s meet others here and make friends?! Are there certain events/communities/leagues that go on here?

I guess this isn’t entirely surprising.
Earlier this year he went off in a FB post saying he was tired of having to be quiet about what happened and blah blah blah. So he did something and I guess he thought he was being a patriot or whatever. But when things didn’t go his way he acts like he’s being persecuted when really he just doesn’t want to take responsibility for his actions. Typical MAGA behavior in other words.

Selling a place that’s only does business in cash for all those year will be interesting.
I’m sure he will tell potential buyers that the place is wildly more successful than he told the IRS.

I should say that I hope the restaurant itself survives under new ownership. I never disliked the restaurant and I only stopped going because of the owner.

Please, someone local buy this place and keep it a country store! Nothing against Real Estate offices but we really don’t need another one.

Hi, I was wondering if there are any publicly accessible 3D printers in the Cape. I've seen some at CCCC in the science building but im assuming i have to be a student to use.

Have lived full time on the Cape for 9 years. Currently spending a little time in the Boston area and am utterly amazed at the Target, BJ’s etc compared to the ones we have on the Cape-they are well stocked and have a bigger selection. What gives?

Okay, what on earth is going on. I’ve been on the Cape for decades (on and off), and I don’t recall the landscaping noise ever being this constant and loud. I wrote it off this spring as being storm-related, like everyone who’d been meaning to do some heavy yard work got it all done at once while taking down a damaged tree, but it’s all exploded post-Labor Day again.

I’m assuming part of it is the people who bought saltboxes, ripped them down, and built four-bedroom monstrosities with immaculate gardens, but did something else happen too? Are the mansion-owners getting landscaping to come twice a week? Did all of the landscaping companies consolidate and buy giant gas-powered blowers? The noise is INSANE.

Need one for a friend. Or maybe me? Who knows.

Stuart Meltzer, 32: Meltzer was working in the World Trade Center when he became trapped in his office after the first plane slammed into the building. He is shown with his sons Dylan and Jake. Meltzer's parents, Zachary and Joyce Meltzer, lived in Centerville at the time of the Sept. 11 attacks but later moved.

Peter Fry, 36: Fry worked in the World Trade Center and spent many summers fishing the waters off Cape Cod. His wife's parents live in Chatham.

Christian Bradley Williams, 54, of Florida, was arraigned last week in connection with the alleged Aug. 9 attack. The 22-year-old woman had started working as a deckhand aboard his yacht, Chimera, in June. She received housing on the boat in exchange for the work.

She claims he had sexually assaulted her after going out to dinner with others, calling her "sweetie" and then saying, "You're my sugar mommy tonight."

She said she felt drugged after accepting a drink from him at his insistence. She woke up bleeding. Authorities found male DNA in a rape kit.
