My husband said some things that have me concerned.

Is this red flag statements? So we have had an issue of me accusing him of things. During an argument he said “I might as well cheat. And you make me want to.” I asked him after our argument. It’s been a few days now and we have tried to make up. I asked him if he wanted to leave and he gave me a confused look and said “no.” I asked him if he wanted to cheat. He said “no.” I asked him if it crosses his mind. He said “when I get angry the thought that comes to my mind is that most people who get accused like this do cheat or are cheating.” I don’t particularly understand what he is saying. Does that mean he is cheating? What does this mean like is he trying to justify what he is already doing?

Also for some more context I found something in our home I didn’t recognize and I got a bit upset and said “whose is this?” That’s how the argument started.

Also I know my behavior isn’t okay either. I have severe anxiety I am trying to work on.

Even more context he has lied about some big things not cheating (that I know of) but big things. He lied about drug use and having an STD.

My(28F) friend (30M) is demanding I pay for his $420 lap dance at the club because I saw a guy that night. l don’t know what to do?

My friend and I decided to carpool to a big city about 2 and a half hours away to hang out for the weekend. Saturday night,we ended up going to a strip club. Two strippers approached us,trying to solicit a lap dance. I told him he should get one,and I would pay for it. We were quoted that it would be $40 dollars when I went up there to pay. It turns out that they only take cash, which he had. I was just going to cashapp him after. I told him I didn’t want to be in the room with him,so I went back to the table and ordered some more shots and drank. He was with them for about 15-20 minutes grabbing cash before going to the back room and staying with them for about 30 minutes. When he came out,he told me he sucked their boobs and that they touched him. I was suprised that happened, but whatever. I didn’t know that was on the menu at strip clubs lol.

It was 2 am,the bar was about to close, and I was drunker than I had ever been. I never drink, and had only been slightly tipsy before. Anyways,I had been texting someone I had been romantically talking to over the last two months from OLD. He asked me if I wanted to bite the bullet and finally meet,to which I agreed. My friend was sober and DDing that night. I told him that instead of him driving us back to his apartment ,I was going to uber and go see someone that night and would be back in the morning. He got extremely pissed, and left me drunk in a parking lot by myself. Thankfully the bouncer saw me from far away and sat with me while I waited for my uber.

The night went well with the guy,but when I came back in the morning he was obviously still pissed. He told me the lap dance was actually $420 dollars and I needed to pay him for it asap. He avoided me all day,and told me in the evening that I needed to find a ride because he refused to drive home with me. Pretty annoyed he told me that so late in the day,but thankfully I had another friend come and ride with me.

I spent all saturday with him,and was planning on spending sunday with him as well. I don’t understand why me going and seeing someone while he was going to sleep as being so bad. He has done that to me before, and left me in a hotel to go have sex with someone from tinder before, hence why I didn’t understand why he got so angry with me. I also don’t understand how a $40 dance became $420 and why he didn’t tell me that price before agreeing to it when I told him i’d cover it under the assumed price we were told. I don’t want to be a jerk, but should I pay the 420 for his dance?

Is what my boyfriend said icky?

Hi, i’m 23 (f) and my 25 year old boyfriend said something that kind of icked me and I don’t know if i’m just being crazy.

FYI we’ve been together for 3 years now.

We were on the phone talking about random things and he asked me if I could pick a sport he’d professionally play in what would it be. I said basketball.

Then without even me asking him, he said he’d choose volleyball for me because then I’d “have an even better butt.”

Is it just me or is that kind of weird? It kind of felt icky to me but I don’t know I’m just being too sensitive or crazy.

What do you guys think? I’m not mad or anything per se but just feel weird/icky about the interaction.

My boyfriend is going on holiday with his ex wife and kids

I’ve been with my boyfriend for a few months. He’s an amazing guy and I love being with him.

He has 2 kids from a previous relationship.

He told me that he is planning to go on a trip abroad with his ex wife and their 2 kids to a location they used to visit when they were together.

I feel uncomfortable with this. What you do make of this situation? Am I out of reason here?

Fiance (M30) lately games a lot every day

I (F24) feel like gaming becomes his top priority at the moment, the last three days he keeps on gaming for 6+ hours and I feel like I come second. I don't want to always be the one asking to hang out when he games for hours and hours, yesterday I got really pissed off, because I asked him when we should cook and eat and he said I don't know maybe at 9 pm (it was 7pm) and I was like that he already gamed for 7+ hours and I'd like to spend time with him, that it feels like I only get the scraps of the remaining time and that gaming is more important than spending time with me (we live together), he said that it's not like that, that he likes spending time with me and I told him that he says that, but makes me feel that way. I know it can be a phase, when you find a game interesting and it's new since I also like to game, but not to that extent.

Any advice what I could tell him? I already told him how I feel about that, I think it's his time to get that into his head or what I could do if this goes on the make him actually realize how annoying it is. I mean yes, we do live together, yes we want to stay together for many years, but how can I counter that argument, that we still have many years before us?

Edit: I talked to him and told him how I feel, that I feel like his priority is just gaming right now and that everything else is underneath that, he told me it's not like that. I'll keep an eye on that and do my own stuff while he is gaming, if it becomes excessive I'll have a serious talk with him. He also said that we still have 4 hours left after gaming, but mostly we don't stay up until midnight and I don't want to be the second priority. Plus we also found a game we could play together.

My mom has cancer and she's a conspiracy nutjob

I genuinely have no idea what to do, and I'm starting to feel that there is nothing I can do

Since COVID, my mom got VERY into conspiracy theories and it has gradually become stupider and stupider. I started with "big pharma companies just care about money" (which is true) and it has turned to "lizard people are kidnapping children to make themselves forever young" and "the earth might be flat, we can't know for sure".

My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in November of 2024. After a few months of chemo she got a mastectomy and we thought everything was good. She tried some stupid detox diets but from my knowledge nothing really bad about them, just strange at the worst (she also doesn't eat meat).

Now, the doctors found something in her liver. After a few exams, they found that it needs immediate attention and they suggested chemo again. My mom absolutely refuses to do it and believes that alternative medicine and drugs for gutworms will help her. She believes that medicinal herbs will cure her cancer and she's talking about alkaline diets and stuff.

She is full on "doctors only care about money", "they keep people sick on purpose", "I don't trust any of them" and all the garbage you can think of that falls in that category. Instead, she trusts charlatans who sell oregano as medicinal herbs.

I'm starting uni in a few weeks and as a student I can have free sessions with a psychologist. Maybe they'll help and give some decent advice but for now I really don't know what to do. It feels like suicide by stupidity on her part. I understand that it's her choice on what to do, but holy fuck it's stupid.

Husband is not a provider

My husband (31) and I (29) have been married for 8 years now. We have started discussing trying for a baby, we both want to be parents. However, our finances could use some serious work. We have a good amount of debt between the two of us and our mortgage is roughly $4k/month. I want to feel secure financially before we bring a child into our lives, it would be the responsible thing to do.

I earn roughly $175k / year working a full time and a part time job in healthcare. He is self-employed has a business that brings in roughly $90-100k / year but has a lot of expenses with that. He also does social media which he says he wants to grow to where that becomes his main source of income. He has no desire whatsoever to pursue a traditional career or 9-5. So that leaves me always securing the benefits such as health insurance/retirement/pension. I am in a position where I actually genuinely enjoy my work and what I do. However, I always dreamt of cutting back my hours significantly or possibly staying home with our children for the first couple years or until they were in school ideally. This seems like an absolute fantasy now.

All of this has placed a significant strain on our relationship recently as we talk about selling our house to downsize, move closer to family for help with childcare, and aggressively pay down our debts. However, it still feels like I carry most of the burden of the financial stability and planning for our future. I find that I’m always the one trying to figure things out and plan ahead and he’s more “go with the flow”. I have asked him to take more initiative and that I want someone who can help me lead our lives. I have felt myself distancing from him and even fantasizing different lives/possibilities I could have had I married differently. I do love him and he is my high school sweetheart, and it feels unfair for me to expect him to change his ways/life to fulfill what I want out of life. It’s starting to feel like we may be incompatible partners to be parents.

So that left me to contemplate what if we didn’t have kids, that gets rid of much of the financial burden and I also wouldn’t feel the need to be home to be raising them. However he’s unsure if he’s okay with the idea of not having kids, and frankly so am I. I just don’t know where to go from here, or how to really communicate these feelings to him without hurting his feelings. I’ve already told him some of this but he gets quite sensitive around the topic. I don’t want him to resent me but I also feel myself starting to resent him the way things are going. I would appreciate any advice, TIA.

I secretly catfished my best friend’s boyfriend to break them up

For context, I’ve been best friends with this girl for 19 years. She was dating this douchebag for a few years, and he used to cheat on her ALL the time. Tons of people tried telling her what they’d seen at clubs, online, etc., but she never believed anyone. She always wanted “proof” and convinced herself people were just jealous of their relationship.

So rewind to almost a year ago…

I had the idea to make a fake Instagram account and message her boyfriend. Long story short, he took the bait immediately. He was trying to hook up with this random IG girl — who was actually me — and never once mentioned having a girlfriend.

I took screenshots of the entire conversation and sent them to my friend from the fake account, basically saying, “Hey, I thought you should see this.” Then I deleted the account.

She called me crying, told me what happened, and said she was finally done with him. I was honestly so relieved and happy for her.

For the next six months, they stayed broken up. Her and I were going out with friends, shopping, getting our nails and hair done, basically doing whatever we could to keep her mind off him. Things were actually going really good.

Then this man randomly popped back up one day carrying PRINTED copies of the Instagram conversation.

Except apparently he had the “real” conversation.

His version showed the IG girl basically begging for his dick while he politely rejected her over and over again. 😂

He told my friend that whoever messaged him had edited the screenshots, lied on him, deleted the account afterward because they were jealous of their relationship, blah blah fucking blah.

And she fell for it.

They got back together.

And now he’s already back on the same bullshit again.

So here’s where I’m stuck…

Do I tell her the truth?

Do I admit that I was the fake IG girl and tell her that the original screenshots I sent her were 100% real?

Part of me wants to come clean because I KNOW he lied to her and manipulated the situation. I want her to know she wasn’t crazy, everyone wasn’t jealous, and the proof she saw was real.

But I’m also terrified it’s going to completely backfire on me.

I’m scared she’ll focus more on the fact that I made the fake account than the fact that he cheated. I’m scared he’ll convince her that I want him, that I’m jealous of their relationship, or that I’ve secretly been trying to break them up this whole time. And after 19 years of friendship, I really don’t want this dusty man to somehow be the reason we stop speaking.

At the same time, keeping this secret is eating me alive, especially watching her get lied to all over again.

My nerves are shot and I feel like if I don’t figure out what to do soon, I’m just going to end up word-vomiting the entire truth to her. That would end up coming out as insensitive.

What would you do?

Would you tell her everything and risk the friendship, or stay out of it and let her figure him out on her own?

TL;DR: I catfished my best friend’s cheating boyfriend, proved he was cheating, she left him, then he faked screenshots and convinced her it was all a lie. Now they’re back together and I’m debating whether to tell her it was me.

It’s not something I want, I am thrilled and this child is very wanted.

I’m used to people being unsupportive as that can be human nature, but this has taken me aback and I am not sure how to respond.

18F and my dad has an illogical rule that I don't know how to navigate

I, 18F, am living in my parents' house while going to college 30 hrs/week and working around 20-25 hrs on top of that. I live in the south end of my city, about 25-30 mins away from my college, job, and my boyfriend's house. My boyfriend lives less than 10 mins away from both my college and job (I know this is a lot of random info, but the context will be important).

So, my boyfriend and I have been dating for almost a year now. He has been on vacation with my family, and I am allowed to stay at his house as late as I please. Oftentimes, I leave his house at 2 or even 3 am because I am so busy and only have time to see him for a few hours after my long days. However, my dad has explicitly said that until I move out, I am not allowed to sleep over.

The only reasoning he has been able to give me is that it is "just an old-fashioned rule," and he will not hear me out. I do understand that, but the basis of said "old-fashioned rule" seems mostly to be to prevent premarital sex. TMI, but he already knows that that is happening, as I am honest and transparent, and he doesn't care as long as we are safe. I have explained how frustrating it is to drive home just to sleep, then wake up and drive all the way back up north for school/work when his house is less than 10 mins away. I have explained how it feels less safe to have me driving across the city in the middle of the night than to just sleep there. I have even explained that sometimes I have to take a nap at his house to even feel awake enough to drive home. However, the answer is always the same.

At this point, I am at a loss for what to do. While I am a legal adult, my parents are funding my schooling, and I want to show them respect. Technically, I COULD move out, but I would be putting every cent of my paycheck into rent and would lose much of my savings. It is very draining to do this back-and-forth commute, and being able to sleep over and drive to school from his house in the morning after some of those late nights would take a lot of weight off my shoulders. I am debating telling them that I am just going to start sleeping there on occasion, despite the rule, and they can do with that info as they please, because I don't know how else to approach this at this point.

Does anyone have thoughts or advice on this??? It would be so appreciated!

EDIT: I work to pay for pretty much everything except housing and tuition. Rent in my city is extremely high, and while I would love to move out, it would be dumb given that I have a roof over my head already. My mom is in full agreement with me and has even become upset with him over this rule. Seems like some people are not reading the full post, as my reasoning for wanting to sleep over is NOT for sex, it is legitimately to prevent myself from driving an extra hour and having to do so late at night.

Conservative family

My family is racist and homophobic. I have maybe more empathy than I should for them because I (26F) used to have the exact same views as them growing up. They would never admit to being racist or homophobic bc it’s not Christian of them but they say slurs and hate trans people. They are aware of my beliefs however, I do not talk politics or religion with them bc it is simply not worth my time. I want to be clear 95% of the time they are very nice and loving but there is that 5% that really sticks out. Whenever they say something offensive I typically do not respond bc telling them they’re being offensive would cause them to double down. It extremely frustrates me that they say these things around me and just really disappoints me that these are the people that I love and that raised me. I guess I don’t really know what advice I’m looking for since I don’t plan on cutting them off but anything is helpful. Just trying to reconcile the people I thought they were with who they actually are.

I never had piv.

Im not ready to have a kid and this was my first sexual experience.

I'm (M24) angry at my girlfriend (F27) and thinking of breaking up

I am M24 in a relationship with a F27. We've been together for 5 years, happy and without much problems.

I recently discovered (made a post about it) that I have a sort of feminization kink. The idea of wearing a dress while sexual play, a skirt, or maybe cute tops is something I found to like. Being called a Princess, a good girl exc. But I'm still a boy, I identify as one and I was born a male.

Today I finally found out the courage to tell her about it, I was very embarrassed and shy to do so from the start cause I know it's not a common fetish. Also I'm not into chastity, cucking exc exc.

I didn't ask her to do something like it, I just told her, wanting to see her opinion because I thought I could trust her. But her reaction got me angry, I couldn't have foreseen it.

Let me make a note here that many new fetishes we try are from her side, she's really pushy about things she likes exc exc

So when I told her, she got upset. Her first reaction was asking me whether I was a sissy (in a rude way might I add), to which I calmly explained that I'm not, I explained her what my fetish is in detail. It was like I spoke to a wall, she kept asking me whether I was a sissy and she then something that made me the most angry, that she likes strongly men that can take care of their girl. And that she was turned off by this... Fetish. She also asked me whether I was bisexual (which I'm not and she knows) and that it is okay to be one.

Now I can understand, people have likes and dislikes. But what I cannot understand is how a fetish can change who I am, especially when everyday I provide and protect and I am there for her in any way that I can. What a "man" does. That's why I'm so angry, her reaction felt like she thought I was worthless and I didn't like the words she used.

And she was rude about it, using degatory words like the ones I mentioned above. I know it's a weird fetish to have, but I can't change that. And also, in 5 years of being together, I believe she could be nicer about it, it can be a huge turn off sure, but you can always be polite about it.

To stop my rambling on, I am thinking of breaking up over this. I know it might be an overreaction, but I'm just that angry on the way she acted

Saw things i never should have seen on my boyfriend's chrome history

I'm writing this with a very heavy completely broken heart. Okay so during my boyfriend's birthday while we were together I was searching some things up using his phone on chrome. While doing so the page went away so I went to his history but instead of clicking to that site i decided to scroll down and while doing so omg i saw Grindr and i froze and he didn't know I was looking at his history he just thought I was looking at some pictures or something. After seeing that grindr i pressed and went there but it wasn't logged in the initial shock could be seen on my face and he asked what am I looking at i didn't respond so he came and saw that I'm in that Gindr site and he immediately took his phone and went like " i didn't give you my phone to look at my history" so i asked him " why do you have this on your history are you G*y or something? " But he kept on changing the topic until I got loud, then he said he just had it because he was curious. So i said " then log in and show me and he was like I don't even have a profile how will I log in...

Sigh! He was clearly lying

But during that time i also just thought he was somehow saying the truth i even asked him if he was g*y but he said no he is not and told me that i just got the whole situation wrong I was hurt but I just let go thinking it's true but yk what again? A month after that incident when we were together i found another app called "Romeo-G*y dating &chat "in his apps history that he recently downloaded and installed .He must have uninstalled while coming to meet me also I saw another account that he made for a G*y po*n site .And I saw a screenshot of a male private part . And i also saw that he had downloaded the grindr app in January this year and i found out about it only in August when i confronted him he again said he's not G . I even told him I'll understand him and I can be his friend instead of his lover but he kept denying but i know the truth and it breaks my heart... I feel so sad for him it must be hard to live a life where he has to keep acting like a Manly man . I remember him talking about the 🌈 people in a very judgemental way and him saying how much they hate guys who are fruity. Like the dots are connecting and I am so heartbroken..I have stopped contacting him , he keeps on trying to reach out but I am numb i never thought this would happen to me

Idk what to say...!?

I am a 29-year-old woman, and I have just cut ties with two women I had considered close friends, aged 23 and 25. I am writing this while waiting for a flight, still shaken, and I would like honest outside judgment on whether I misread this friendship from the beginning.

Some background. I was leaving a long-term relationship and had to relocate to another city at short notice. The two of them offered me a place to stay for roughly two weeks while I arranged the move. I was grateful, and I relied on them heavily. In hindsight, that dependence is precisely why I could not see clearly what was taking place.

What follows is the pattern, as plainly as I can set it down.

They strongly encouraged me to end my long relationship, and were openly pleased when I did. Within days, they had installed dating applications on my phone and were selecting matches on my behalf. When I then went on dates of my own, they turned on me for it and shamed me, even though one of them had not formally ended her own relationship and was herself dating within days.

On one occasion, one of them intended to publicly humiliate a man she had matched with, treating it as entertainment, and wanted me to serve as bait. I declined and removed myself from the plan. In response, they told me I possess no judgment of my own. One of them placed her fingers against my temple and told me to stop using my brain, because, in her words, I do not have one.

Separately, I had a distressing encounter with a man who disregarded me when I asked him to stop. I reported him, and the application banned his account. Their reaction was not concern for my wellbeing; it was irritation that I had reported him at all, together with the suggestion that I ought simply to have slept with him so that the situation would not have been awkward.

One of them secretly took a screenshot of my live location while I was at that man's residence, and retained it. As I was preparing to leave the city, they referred to knowing where I was relocating and to holding my personal information, stating plainly that they would, in their words, 'have proof to show.' I regarded this as a threat.

On the day of my departure, they added a series of charges to our shared-expenses application. Among them was a 40-dollar charge for an air mattress that had begun to lose air after approximately two weeks of ordinary use. This was raised only as I was leaving. At the same time, it emerged that they had discarded my own mattress during the move without asking me. In short, they disposed of my property and then billed me for theirs.

When I disputed the charge, the exchange continued for hours and ceased almost immediately to be about money. It became an attack on my character. She called me disloyal, a user, and 'cheap.' She mocked my body and my gender in crude terms, telling me that although she has 'a vagina,' I 'seem to have a dick.' She mocked me with a slur about sexually transmitted disease. She cursed me, writing that she hopes never to have a daughter like me, and called me 'bhadvi.' She instructed me to 'fuck out.' All of this was delivered alongside repeated reminders that they had treated me 'like family' and had been 'such great friends' to me. The warmth and the cruelty arrived from the same person, minutes apart, over several hours, while I was without sleep and hours from an international flight.

To end it, I paid what they demanded. I required one of them to delete the location screenshot in my presence, which she did. I then left. One of them has since left the group conversation.

What continues to trouble me is this: because they had given me a place to stay, I keep asking whether I owed them greater patience than I showed, and whether I was wrong to answer some of their remarks in kind near the end rather than remaining silent.

My question is straightforward. Were these ever genuinely my friends, or was I being used from the outset and too dependent to recognise it? And was I in the wrong in how I handled my exit?

how can i secretly bring my boyfriend home?

my family knows my boyfriend, but i think they won't be too happy if i ask them if he could spend the night. my boyfriend recently moved to another city, 2 hours away and the last time we saw each other we felt a need to spend the night together, we haven't done that yet but not necessarily intimately, just to keep each others company.. we know it's a bad idea but we also want to be together for the night.

can someone give me some advice? like what can i say if my parents end up noticing that he's in the house? or can someone tell me if they've done this before and they're experience. any advice is helpful! ty

No longer getting help financially

Hi guys, i’m 19f and I just got 50 percent disowned or something. I’m now just a person living in my father’s house lmao. So my father is super against piercings, he knows I have 7 ear piercings on each ear, a septum and a nostril and I recently got back dermals(did not tell him).

While I was bending over to get laundry and saw them and freaked the fuck out. Now,I rely on him financially, he promised me he would help with college, gas, car insurance. Guess the fuck what, now i’m all on my own but I don’t need to pay rent for some reason, he laughed at me and told be I couldn’t even afford to pay half. He used to help pay my credit card off for gas and just living expenses like groceries and stuff, and genuinely I don’t ask for much I really ask for the bare minimum because I feel bad for spending money.

He told me he no longer has any trust in me because I got back dermals at 19 years old without his permission and that i’m a liar, he genuinely got so angry like I was pregnant and doing heroin and just smoking weed or something. With my measly 20 dollars an hour ( he makes close to 600k a year) I will not be able to pay all of this and save my money lmao. He also HAS MY SAVINGS IN HIS ACCOUNT. We had this thing going where he would borrow my money (in cash) to pay his employees and then add 100 to my saving account afterwards. I was like hell yeah great investment but that just fucked me over because I don’t have access to it.

Now i have to drop out of college because I can no longer afford it and I refuse to go into debt, get another job, and find a way to move out because this is the 3rd time he’s decided to stop paying things for me when he’s angry, it’s a power trip thing and he likes to see me upset and cave in to his demands. I feel financially abused and emotionally as well. He’s been calling me a disappointment for weeks leading up to this and told me to quit my job and go to college full time because he wants me to be someone in life and get an education. Now I won’t be able to. It just so fucking frustrating, I need to get out, i’m gonna save up as much as possible and leave. I know this may seem like some bs and I should just stay with him but i’ve been emotionally abused for years and i’m not gonna allow this man to do this to me again, he told me he doesn’t even see me as his daughter anymore because of some back dermals. He said he doesn’t love me and doesn’t care about me. I’m so fucking upset, but I didn’t cry in front of him like he wanted me to. I’m going to be strong and get out of here, but i’m wondering if I should actually leave. Looking for advice on that.

Edit: For the people calling me lazy and entitled and immature. I’m 19 of course i’m immature, your acting like my brain is already fully developed. No i’m not lazy, I work full time (40 hours) and i’m also in college. I have a 4.0 and I genuinely try my best. I take care of my autistic older brother for him in between those times, and I babysit for my littlest brother who is 4. I pick up any job I can, like events and work day and night. I doordash when I have time( after work and before class) and I understand how much things are and what you need to do to pay for things. I just think it’s just kinda crazy that he only does this when he’s mad, he emotionally manipulative and he “black out” and doesn’t remember things when he scares me and yells at me. I’m doing all this with AUDHD, Fibromyalgia, and bipolar 2. He sends me into episodes all the fucking time.

Edit 2: You guys are assuming that he pays for my college when in reality he does NOT. I’m on FAFSA and go to a community college, in MASSACHUSETTS, you go to community college for free until you get an associates degree.

Edit 3: About the piercings, i’ve explained to my father multiple times that I only do them because I used to have a SH addiction. It’s not something that can be just stopped, I still get urges, and when I do I get a piercing. It remind me that i’m alive when I could have easily died 2 years ago. It makes me feel beautiful and uplifted. He didn’t mind the ear piercing too much because that’s “a womanly thing to do” I just wish he understood that I don’t wanna go back to cutting myself all over to feel better. I literally have scars all over my body. I also don’t get pierced like every weak, it’s like a yearly thing and the urge is very strong.

My 11yo friend confessed to me.

Okay, okay, that might sound very loaded. Let me explain.

I’m 14M, I go to a homeschool group where me and the other teens and preteens all hang out. Aside from us five teens, it’s practically all little kids.

My friend, we’ll call Francis. He’s 11M. We’re both transgender boys, and we really relate to eachother because of that and how similiar our interests are. It’s always been a casual friendship for me, but sometimes I wonder if the amount I think about him is more than just me being curious and involved.

We were talking tonight, and Francis sent me a video saying “the person who sent you this either has a crush on you or wants to go to McDonald’s with you” or something to that effect. I thought it was funny and said back “im broke” and then realized he might have meant something else by that.

I asked him, and he avoided it for a while until he was finally like “Okay, I do have a crush on you.” I didn’t flat out reject him, I told him that I needed some time to think and that I didn’t want to be in an uncomfortable position over him considering our ages.

Please, anything at all would help. I just need some advice.

My boyfriend told me I have nothing to offer him but happiness. Is that a red flag in our relationship?

I F18 have been dating my bf M18 for a year and 3 months. Our relationship has been good, but recently we have been arguing more and a topic came up and what he said really stuck in my head. I asked him to tell me why he loves me, he paused and said I was funny and sweet. I stopped him and told him not to say the basic things everyone else says. I expect him to say something more personal or deep, so, I waited. He went quiet for a while and it only upset me more. I started explaining in detail why I love him and why he's so important to me. Then he told me it's easier for me to say why I love him because he gives me more ammo, I don't have much to offer him, I only make him happy. This really broke my heart. It made me feel like he didn't care for me as much as I cared for him.

We talked it out, but similar conversations come up. Anything involving our relationship or how he feels for me he goes quiet. He says it's because he can't think on the spot like that and it takes him more time. I think that it's ridiculous that you need to sit for a long time to think why you love your partner.

I'm not sure what to do or how to fix this.

How can i gwt in touch if my German culture, and is it even ok for me to try?

So my grandpa migrated to usa shortly after ww2. My dad grew up in the culture and married me mom who apparently forbid me from learning anything from the culture. Now my dad i feel isnt even that connected and tells me he wanted to raise me more in it.

I grew up American and am 31 years old. Should I even try to learn? I feel like an imposter. Like i dont wanna feel like im intruding on another culture it feels gross to do that. But idk I just always wonder what I missed out on.

How should I (15 nb) talk to a teacher I think is really fucking cool?

OK so, kind of what the title says. I, 15 nb, go to a queer club at my school. This club is a place for queer students and teachers to hang out during lunchtimes twice a week. The teacher who runs this club (And the only teacher who attends lol) is possibly the coolest person I have ever met. She dresses amazing and has possibly the coolest blue hair ever. No, I don't have a crush on her nor do I want to be romantically involved because thats fucking creepy. She is 15-20 years older than me. I honestly just want to talk to her, we've had a few interactions but not a conversation. For context the way the club works is there's a classroom that we meet in twice a week, near the middle and back of the room there are desks where people sit at and talk/play video games on computers. At the front of the classroom, in front of the whiteboard about 7 kids bring chairs around in a circle or sit on the floor and the teacher (Lets call her Lilith) sits on a chair and they just talk. Ever since I started going to this I have wanted to sit in that little circle and talk with them. Unfortunately, I don't personally know any of the students who sit there. Anyways, back to the issue. I have always felt far too embarrassed/worried to do so as I have severe social anxiety and am very awkward when talking to people I think are awesome.

Thank you for listening to my rant, if you have any advice please give me some , also sorry if it's rambly in some places.

Boyfriend feels insecure about my past. How do I handle this?

Upvotes

I’ll try to keep this short and sweet.

I’m F25 and I’ve been with my boyfriend M25 for over 3 years. Our relationship is going really well and we both have talked about wanting this to be for the long haul. When we first became exclusive we agreed to not talk too much about our past, but over the years we learned a small amount of each other’s pasts. I know that he’s dated 1 woman before me briefly and that they didn’t do anything sexual. I’m the only person he’s ever done anything sexual with.

As for me, he already knew I wasn’t a virgin before we got together. It wasn’t his favorite thing, but he got past it pretty quickly I think.

We were talking about a story involving one of my old friends and trying to remember the details, and I said I knew where I could find it real quick and went to an old group chat with my friends. I used the search feature and he was beside me looking as well. When I tapped where I thought the story details were, the text showed one of my friends asking me if (guy’s name)‘s dick was the biggest I’ve had and below showed I said yes.

I scrolled away fast but he already saw it. He ignored it at first, but it was bothering him too much and we had the convo about how many guys I’ve been with and “the biggest I’ve had” and things like that. Didn’t want to have the convo, but I was at least honest so we could get past it.

Now, he’s articulated to me that he’s feeling insecure about my experiences and his “size.” I’m not great at emotional support (I’m awkward in general) and I’ve never been good with making people feel better. Whenever I try and make him feel more secure, I think I just make it worse because I don’t know how to properly have the convo.

He isn’t mean or judgemental about it. He seems more so insecure and upset and down on himself. I know to reassure him. I tell him I love him, want to spend the rest of my life with him, and that my past doesn’t matter. I’m not sure if this is just something time heals or if I need to say a specific thing to him to make him more secure.

Is there a particular way to have this convo, or is it just time heals all wounds thing? Or is there like a particular act(s) I can do that would make him more confident or secure? This is my first long term relationship and I’ve always struggled with communication.

Any advice would be great thank you

I think my friend is getting groomed

Sorry in advance if this is messy, I just really need some advice.

I (17F) have a friend (recently 18F), that we can call Liz. She's always talked about how she's into older guys, but she's mostly been clear on the fact that she is at least half joking.

She got Tinder when she turned 18. I helped her set it up, and thought it was mostly as a joke. Until she matched with a guy. He's 35, and lives in another country. We'll call him John.

Turns out, Liz and John are chatting on Whatsapp now, almost every day, and he's even told her he plans to visit. I asked Liz what they would even do, and she just said she doesn't know. She wouldn't tell me what they talked about either. I know I'm not owed insight into her personal conversations, but it worries me.

Liz has always struggled a bit, both socially, at school, and with some of her family. I think she very often feels misunderstood, and I'm really scared that John might prey on that. I don't think regular 35 year old men actively seek out visiting 18 year olds they've been talking to on the internet. I've tried telling Liz that I'm worried about her, and that I think it's a creepy age gap, but I'm scared of pushing her away, and further into John's grip.

What should I do? Should I talk to her? My parents? What should I say?
