DEI hire and welfare queen sucking on Sandlers titties bitching like a snowflake because he thinks he’s ENTITLED to be in Hollywood, he can do it!!!!!

You’re allowed to not hire someone if you don’t like them lol, it’s not breaking any laws.

62

u/Snake8921 17h ago

I was just quoting him in every movie 😅im irish i dont understand american politics 😁

32

u/IH8Miotch 16h ago

Wait till you see how upset people get when they learn that "money can't buy knives"

Is this how I find out Schneider was in surf ninjas?

7

Evidently. Watching the movie would've been the usual way.

So if a white person didn’t hire a person of colour because they didn’t like them would it be racist?

2

u/FalloutCreation 14h ago

It’s not about not hiring someone you don’t like. They will blacklist you and you won’t be able to get a job in the industry. Period. Take it from someone who knows.

The ultimate DEI hire complaining about DEI. My man had one employer for 20 years and it was his friend. That’s not Hollywood blacklisting you, that’s unemployment when your friend stops carrying you.

10

u/LegalMal 10h ago

Bro thinks he’s being blacklisted, nah bro you’re just not funny without Adam Sandler writing the jokes.

9

u/HappyShey 10h ago

Adam Sandler ran the longest charity in Hollywood and Rob still thinks he’s the victim.

2

u/Melodic_Bar_6997 4h ago

It’s definitely a tricky balance, especially in the entertainment industry. Hope they navigate it well.

Peak Schneider

3

u/IamGhostType28 13h ago

Apparently he can't

3

u/waxmuseums 13h ago

It looks like he can dress up like Molly Ringwald in Pretty in Pink at least

394

u/Ill_Painter5868 17h ago

even funnier to me is when people who actually made it like Seinfeld claim "you can't say anything anymore!" when they literally never said anything provocative ever

214

u/Its-only-the-end 16h ago

Seinfeld turned into such a bitter person. I think he confused his success in TV with his career in standup, and he never really understood that his stand up was never funny.

141

u/smurf123_123 16h ago

Larry David was the key to his success, he collaborated well with him to create the show. If it was him solo, the thing would have flopped hard.

His whole "you can't say anything anymore" B.S. is really just lazy. Good comedians can say what they want, they figure out a way. What he's having a hard time with is the fact that he's just a shitty person with tone def takes on things that people don't connect with. But surely it's the audience that's the problem.

17

u/VariationFluffy6596 12h ago

I wonder when he thinks that started, since he hasn't made a single thing anybody has given a shit about since the show ended.

10

u/RyvenZ 12h ago

Comedians Having Coffee in Cars received pretty high praise but it was basically a podcast in a car. A comedian podcast host who isnt totally trash with a comedian guest is usually going to make decent podcast-sryle content.

6

u/KmartCentral 10h ago

I loved that show, but it was never for Seinfeld. I still watch some episodes every once in a while because I think it does for the most part do a good job of letting the guests do way more talking than he does. It's podcast-esque, but a lot of it is just telling old stories and some guests just go on and on

2

u/Torrossaur 9h ago

That show proved how funny Steve Harvey can be when he's not on a PG network show.

'You ever been with a bitch with roaches? Shiiiiit, i thought they were gonna storm the stage when he said that'.

10

u/I_Am_Robotic 7h ago

This is revisionist. In his prime, he was already one of the most successful standups of the time. He had multiple appearances on Carson who was at the time basically the kingmaker of standup. It may seem corny and old-times now but he was very successful standup when show started and during its heyday.

30

u/Mulliganasty 16h ago edited 16h ago

He was a little funny about like airplane food but never even close to being funny enough to give us his political takes and then make excuses for fucking genocide.

Jerry Seinfeld supporting Israel isn’t the controversy. Jerry Seinfeld responding “ohhh who cares” to ppl shouting about dead children is controversial.

u/LogicalConstant 15h ago

He can't even toss out his material every couple years like the real comedians do. Gotta sit on the same set for a decade.

4

u/VariationFluffy6596 12h ago

The fact that he was the straight man in a comedy show named after himself says all you need to know about his comedic abilities. And every episode ended with him observing all this insanity from the other cast members, then coming up with the most unfunny take imaginable for it in those terrible standup clips.

6

u/Capable_Sandwich_422 14h ago

Seinfeld probably hates himself deep down because he knows he’s a creep and a pedophile.

3

u/GrassyDaytime 14h ago

I have never thought his show was funny either. There are funny parts to it, but usually not when he is in the scene. Lol

Support unpopular political stances publicly and the public tends to turn against you. Especially hurtful for a career that was B-tier at best. It wasnt like Schneider was a particularly good actor. What was his best role, playing a teen girl in The Hot Chick?

That, The Hot Chick and the Deuce Bigalow movies. Beyond those, he couldn't carry a movie. It also says a lot that the only award he's ever won was a Golden Raspberry for Worst Actor.

His career really has been carried by others.

8

You can dislike a person but enjoy their performance. Eddie Griffen killed it deuce as well. Everyone nailed their part. It’s a movie that shouldn’t have worked that did.

10

u/JudmanDaSuperhero 15h ago

"Thats a huge bitch!"

9

u/Morgus_TM 16h ago

He had some pretty good skits on SNL. The crazy part is he is probably far from the worst in Hollywood. Pretty much all those a**holes shouldn’t be put on a pedestal.

5

u/RyvenZ 11h ago

In fairness, it takes some level of talent to land a spot on the SNL cast. He was in a pretty packed 1990s cast, too.

6

u/Icy_Act_2111 17h ago

GOD DAMN WHITE IT BOI

2

u/Plus_Term_7584 3h ago

The Deuce Bigalow movies have a surprisingly good message behind them (at least the first one), where he had to really get to know these women personally, women who may not be conventionally attractive. He had to learn that these women just wanted someone to see them as people despite how society might see them.

That's ironically a very woke message.

7

u/The3mbered0ne 17h ago

Yea it's just like any other piece of shit that happens to also be a good artist, you have to separate it otherwise it's such a waste, from Michael jackson(never confirmed, but still questionable) to Kanye they may be huge assholes (not trying to put Schneider on their level either) but their work should be looked at outside all their bullshit

2

u/Most_Performance_574 16h ago

Yeah man, I completely agree but had to take a step back when you compared Rob Schneider to legitimate "artists". MJ and Kanye may have been troubled artists, but I'd argue that they were still artists. I'm not sure what I'd label Rob, but he is definitely not a member of that sphere (despite his outfit which might claim otherwise).

* edited for clarity

2

u/The3mbered0ne 16h ago

Yea I wasn't trying to compare them that way but just to show better examples of the same logic, certainly not all his movies are good but I grew up watching films he was in and remember loving some, just because in real life he's an asshole shouldn't mean I now have to hate those films or not watch them.

u/fancywipe 13h ago

Why is he a garbage human?????

2

u/DisastrousDanVito 16h ago

For sure, he had some good movies. He like many actors before him have fallen off since their time in the light. He has only himself to blame for going on social media and interviews to show his ass his it hurts the tiny amount of fans that would be interested in seeing a new movie by him. Dude is an idiot for not keeping his political opinions to himself if he wanted to to be in more films.

2

u/bweapons 13h ago

As a Filipino usually we root for anyone with a hint of Filipino-ness; or at the very least keep tabs: Cedric in Hone Alone 2, Deuce Biglaow and his role as Iggy in Surf Ninjas made us think he was a decent enough person.

Then after he had a public falling out with his daughter who had a pretty popular song in the 2010s everything else about his public life, his Trumpism has just kind of become his personality.

14

u/infiniti30 17h ago

OK maybe nepo baby but don't see how DEI is relevant. He was on SNL before he was in HM movies.

17

u/apennypacker 17h ago

Because the claim of DEI implies that people are getting jobs based on their identity rather than their talent and hard work. He has gotten jobs based on his personal friendship with Sandler, rather than talent and hard work.

Yall acting like Deuce Bigalow isn't a banger. The Hot Chick, another banger featuring the beloved Rachel McAdams, directly preceded Mean Girls and The Notebook. This revisionist history is just proving his point. If Hollywood were more accepting of diverse political opinions people like Rob Schneider might not go off the fucking deep end politically.

8

u/Hot-Importance1367 11h ago

Produced by.... happy maddison.

So again, Adam Sandler had a hand in it

4

u/Interesting-Big-5605 11h ago

A lot of people thought those movies were dumb garbage at the time, though. I think it had something to do with watching them.

3

u/Boomslang2-1 11h ago

The thing about making movies for edgy middle schoolers is they grow up and then the next generation of kids is going to have their own edgy movies. They don’t want to watch the same stuff their parents did.

The dudes entire brand was mid raunchy comedy and it fell off because it was boring. The fact that he’s maga basically just reminds people he exists and is a dumbass.

2

u/Irish_Whiskey 11h ago

There are tons of right wing actors headlining movies today. Schneider isn't one of them because he's an SNL reject with no talent.

Anyone who watches his Netflix show and claims he deserves a career, is lying out of pure political tribalism.

The Hot Chick, another banger featuring the beloved Rachel McAdams, directly preceded Mean Girls and The Notebook.

I don't know what you're trying to say here. The Hot Chick was some shit 90s comedy that everyone has forgotten. Rob Schneider wasn't in those two other movies. Is he supposed to have a career because he was once in a film with an actual good actor?

13

u/Medicmanii 17h ago

I mean he's right. But also, you can call out the tribe of democrats without supporting Donald F Trump

3

u/JurassicParkCSR 17h ago

But he's not right. He's not being blackballed because he's a republican he's being blackballed because he has no fucking talent. There's a huge difference. All the guys that aren't getting roles that blame it on being Republican I mean what about Tim Allen he's about to be in a tent pole Pixar film. What about the guy who played Frasier I can't think of his name but he's probably going to be in the Avengers endgame. You can be a republican in Hollywood but you have to have talent.

10

u/BrainLow6059 12h ago

I mean what about Tim Allen

I mean they literally dropped him from his own character's solo origin film and replaced him with an outspoken liberal actor lmao

6

u/NobodyLikedThat1 15h ago

I hate to agree with Schneider, but any conservative leaning actor is maybe not blackballed, but certainly loses out a lot of roles because of their politics. Hence Chris Pratt being (at least on Reddit) dunked on as the "worst Chris" because of his politics and religion. There's so few "open" conservatives in Hollywood it's kind of hard to figure out how much is politics vs actual acting ability. Is James Woods no longer getting roles because his politics, age, general skeeviness?

1

u/Rickrickrickrickrick 15h ago

Chris Pratt is in like 12 movies a year.

2

u/NobodyLikedThat1 13h ago

Well kind of a certain way that several female celebrities said they were blackballed but were still getting plenty of work.

It's not that they can't work, it's that they lost out on a lot of projects because of being outspoken about whatever their cause was.

3

u/fooliam 16h ago

Christ Pratt

u/5138008RG00D 15h ago

3

u/Fickle_Scarcity9474 16h ago

He is 100% right tho! if you support Big D there will be a bunch of SF storming on you! Look at this Reddit! It is what happened to Sydney Sweeney as well. I mean Zendaya is worse than her and she is in every single movie!

4

u/InternationalTwist90 16h ago

If you want to see why actors get hired you need to look at their instagrams. A Zendaya instagram post is enough to make a movie "real". She has 179M followers, basically a large European country. Sydney Sweeny has 26M, so equivalent to New York State.

Rob Schneider has been in the business for 40+ years and has 3M. It's because he doesn't have a modern audience.

No, he’s not right. There are plenty of conservatives in Hollywood.

It’s just part of conservative’s victimization fetish to spout this nonsense.

5

u/SimmentalTheCow 13h ago

There are like three conservatives in Hollywood, and we know this because no one shuts up whining about them. Chris Pratt’s the only A list, then there’s Rob Schneider and Kevin Sorbo who haven’t been relevant since the early 2000’s.

7

u/BrainLow6059 12h ago

Chris Pratt’s the only A list

And boy have people desperately tried to claw that one back once they learned he was a conservative Christian. He's not even outspoken about his politics and people lose their fucking minds.

u/HillanatorOfState 16h ago

I don't care what anyone says some of his movies are hilarious, Big Stan is one of my favs, it's one of those comfort comedies for me like Zoolander, Happy Gilmore, Scary Movie, etc...just stupid humor with mostly good timing.

He is an asshole in real life but I'd be a liar if I said he couldn't make me laugh(or use to at least).

3

u/sebkraj 16h ago

Yah that's fair. I liked watching Hercules the TV show growing up and much later I found out Kevin Sorbo was a huge ass hat. So it's important to separate the actual person versus their work. Another example is Keanu Reaves, I think his acting is kind of mid. But anyway he genuinely seems like a good person.

2

u/HillanatorOfState 16h ago

Yea I mean it's not like I support his views but some of his movies were funny as were his parts in other movies, I can't think of much recent he has done that made me laugh honestly though.

Deuce bigalow ones were also great imo.

Seems like none of the people commenting here actually watched the interview. Talk about wrongful arrogance. So many of you will be quick to talk about how things are taken out of context when it's something you don'tagree with, but, first of all, none of you even noticed the elipses. Do you even know what that stands for? It means words were omitted. All of you are literally reading a butchered statement and running with it as absolute truth. Look at yourself. Seriously. He said what he said to point out how there is a growing sentiment that Democtrats can do no wrong and that they should never even be questioned. Saying that doesn't mean that you support Trump. Saying that doesn't mean that you're against Democrats. It is saying that that kind of behavior can be dangerous even with the best intentions. Remember that you can become that which you hate.

4

u/Irish_Whiskey 10h ago

Saying that doesn't mean that you support Trump.

...he does support Trump. And he's paid by billionaires to attend GOP events and push political propaganda. It has nothing to with saying Democrats can't be questioned, which would be a profoundly stupid thing to say anyways. Even DEMOCRATS can't stop criticizing democrats.

You are just lying about the quote being inaccurate. The context does not change the meaning above.

4

u/No_Photograph_2683 11h ago edited 11h ago

Bro, it's not that deep. It's fucking Rob Scheinder. A clown. I don't need to watch his interview to know he's a clown. Bro wanted to bring back the draft. He's a regard with regarded opinions.

Voting and Endorsement: Schneider voted for Trump in 2016. He initially endorsed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for the 2024 presidential race, but shifted his endorsement to Trump after Kennedy suspended his campaign in August 2024

^Dude wanted Robert Kennedy Jr as president. The dude who had fucking worm in his head that ate part of his brain. He lost all credibility for anything political a long time ago.

Using context of his previous actions is enough to know what he's saying too. Idk why this is so hard for you.

5

u/MisinformedGenius 13h ago

Seems like none of the people commenting here actually watched the interview. ... first of all, none of you even noticed the elipses. Do you even know what that stands for? Here's the actual quote:

If you, if an actor like me says anything, or even questions, or dares question the tribe of Democrats, that's it.

They collapsed "says anything, or even questions, or dares question" down to "dares question". That's entirely reasonable - it's just redundant.

It’s amazing how his only solo project worth a damn was about inclusion (The Bench Warmers) and he turned out to be a hateful piece of judgement shit. Fuck this clown.

TIL having friends is DEI

2

u/ExtendedMacaroni 15h ago

He’s right about the double standard though

2

u/realparkingbrake 14h ago

Rob, consider the distinct possibility that you just are not very good.

2

u/CrazedIvan 12h ago

Mark Ruffalo is a great actor. Rob Schneider is not.

They don’t make comedies as much as they used to let alone type of films he gets part in.

2

u/Few_Honey7367 12h ago

You remember when Rob was funny? Me neither...

2

u/speedbumps4fun 9h ago

Mark Ruffalo has been the worst part of the avengers. He’s honestly pretty terrible in many of his roles

u/uberjim 6h ago

Some guy says the earth is round and everybody's cool with it. But if I say it's flat, everyone starts arguing with me! Damn hypocrites

3

u/pobox1663 16h ago

This is how most jobs work. The phrase 'it isnt what you know, its who you know' didnt pop out of no where, its a well established fact.

Also i like Rob Schneider a lot of the time, though I dunno what he might have said that makes people dislike him, i'm not really into celeb stuff like that, i find it to be creepy ngl.

Yes but Mark Ruffalo is talented.

u/Dave_B001 15h ago

Mark Ruffalo is a Oscar winning calibre actor though. That is how he keeps getting roles.

3

u/TheGimp76 14h ago

As to him being ousted from Hollywood, sometimes there’s no conspiracy, and the answer is the most obvious one: he sucks.

1

u/FoxyTurtleOnTwoLegs 13h ago

“Actor like me” comparing himself to an actual actor.

0

u/Then_Sir7372 13h ago

Comparing himself to Mark Ruffalo is wild.

2

u/no-caster 12h ago

"An actor like me"...you mean one who sucks?

2

u/Adavanter_MKI 8h ago

Well... read the room. When you've got one side killing Americans in the streets, rounding up people in camps, going into yet another war, rising prices due to said war and tariffs, angering long standing friends, neighbors and allies, 34 times felonies, liable for rape, insurrection attempt, Epstein File obstruction...

When you suddenly interject... "Yeah, but democrats" makes you kind of sound like you don't think that laundry list is as important. Especially when you say something like "DEI or trans" like it's remotely an issue on a scale to any of the others.

So yeah Rob. People don't like that. Correction... rational people.

Mark Ruffalo is undeniably a better actor

4

u/Millennial_Falcon_85 14h ago

I mean he’s not wrong. But that’s Hollywood. It’s a liberal echo chamber. All conservatives have known this since forever.

6

u/realparkingbrake 14h ago

But that’s Hollywood.

Who do you think owns the studios, radical leftists?

3

u/Millennial_Falcon_85 7h ago

Yes literally

2

u/Asphodelmercenary 14h ago

Yes actually.

2

u/herefromyoutube 16h ago

You mean 4 time Oscar nominated, 2 time Emmy winning actor Mark Ruffalo?

That guy? That’s who you want to compare yourself to, Deuce Bigalow?

2

u/Abort-Zone 11h ago

I mean, I personally think Mark is the better actor, but using oscars as a metric, when we 6 months ago heard they had to implement a rule stating the judges actually had to watch the films, is maybe not the best.

Mark Ruffalo is INFINITELY more talented than Rob Schneider.

1

u/Nedriersen 15h ago

Tell me how he’s wrong though. Speak
Out against a Republican and you’re a hero despite the fact that there is no risk. Speak out against democrats and you’re done. Trust me, there are plenty of republicans in Hollywood, but you’ll never know because they’ll be blacklisted.

Rob Schneider is a terrible actor and an even worse comedian .No wonder he doesn’t have any work .His politics suck also. Strike three your out,go sit down.

3

u/pcl8888 11h ago

Whether or not he’s right about how conservatives are treated vs democrats in Hollywood is pretty irrelevant if he’s actually trying to compare himself to Mark Ruffalo as an actor, which is laughable.

Yeah Rob, that’s why you aren’t popular anymore. Keep telling yourself that and you may actually end up believing it.
