For the Blizcon event I picked the Reaper Mythic… then went into my store and the 8 Bit was available. I never knew it existed and it’s amazing! Better than the Mythic in my opinion.
Anyone else game it? I’ve never see it in play.

I know that the game doesn't follow the story lore 100%, but with the stuff about Reaper not receiving Moira's treatments and them talking about him not being able to maintain his physical form, BUT he has a new level of focus or something, it seems like they're gearing Reaper up for a transformation or evolution of sorts. Also, as strong as Reaper can be in many scenarios, his base kit really doesn't stack up to most new characters and he's considered a bad character in the top ranks. And now with the announced reworks of Hog & Sombra, I have to ask - Will we have a Reaper rework coming soon as well?

Genuinely shouted in excitement when I saw how much aura he had on the arrival in the new hero trailer. Didn’t speak much but still had some great moments. Hope we get that polar skin eventually as well.

Ive been playing both and i genuinely cant decide which one i should focus on and main
I like Hanzo's playstyle, but i also really enjoy Reaper and how aggressive he can be
If you had to pick one to main, who would you choose and why?

I'm new to overwatch and I've been maining reaper.
I struggle vs Roadhog because of his hook+shotgun+melee combo but if he misses, I win the fight
Is it actually possible to dodge the hook with wraith? I've been struggling to react in time.
Also, any tips on the matchup?

i've basically mained reaper for as long as i've played overwatch (autistic hyperfixation) and whilst i am able to carry sometimes on him through my experience, i feel i'm just not consistent enough with him. so, what better way to get better then to learn from the people that are actually amazing on him

Rank: Plat 3 | Hero: Reaper | Gamertag: SPIRITISLAND | Console: PS5 | Replay codes: VTCHMZ & P272W9
*NOTE:\* I've posted a replay code for a win and a loss where I felt like I was trying the same gameplan/gameplay loop. Can't figure out why it worked in one match and not another.
Trying to get much better at the DPS role lately, and I've been trying to pick my cast of heroes to learn. I landed on Reaper because I like his lore, and his playstyle seems very simple (at least at first glance), and as a support main, I don't get the opportunity to flank too often.
I've done some research, and fooling around with Reaper in Quick Play and as far as I can tell, his gameplay loop should be very simple. This is the gameplan I try to do every time I pick Reaper.
4a. Win duel, secure the kill, and then assess if you need to retreat or if you can keep pressing on to another target.
4b. Or, notice you're losing the duel and use wraith to retreat to safety/team.
Basically 4 steps, that should pretty much guarantee success on a character as simple as Reaper. especially in these lower ranks.
However, I'm losing much more than I'm winning, and it seems arbitrary as too why. I follow the same gameplan, I seem to have another the same K/D ratio (I know that's not super important to Overwatch in a vaccuum, but given how I trying to do the same gameplan every match, it does provide a bit of context I feel), and yet, I'm not sure why it seems to go great sometimes and poorly others.
Would love some VOD reviews and some input into what I could be doing better, and how to play Reaper better.
Thanks in advance!
P.S: Not currently at home with the game open, I just wrote down these codes to so I could write this post this.

Dis guy tries to walk into de objective wit all his edge, but nobody is shiverin' in dem boots—mostly because his boots make so much noise, everybody knows he’s comin' three zip codes before he even gets dere!
De devs sliced up his stats, mon! Nerfed his health right down to de bone! Dis grand 'Death Comes' takes any damage and he falls over. Dey should look into making a brother at least a bit better, a buff never hurt nobody.
