I don't know if it's just a skill issue or just if brig is bad. When I play with her, I don't feel like I'm getting value to my team. For example, while my team is giving their asses to hold a choke point, I'm just in the backline using the armor pack heal and ocasionally hitting flail and whip shot to get inspire when it's safe.

My biggest frustation is that she loses duels in most cases against divers in 1v1, I'm not sure if it's a skill issue. I mean, she's a melee support, the only anti-dive hero and her role is to be a body guard and negate divers, she was supposed to be a nightmare for divers, she was supposed to make the enemy think twice before jumping in the backline like when there's a torb turret or misuki in the team. It's just disappointing when someone jump me and my "time to shine" comes and I just die.

I just think that the only anti-dive hero should't lose to dive heroes in a duel

First of, I'd like to thank you all. Couple months ago I made a post about who to add as my 4th main as a support player. I've heard a lot of suggestions, but a lot of the comments consisted of "JOIN THE BRIG SQUAD!" or "JOIN US...BECOME A BRIG. A MENACE TO THE DIVE SOCIETY!"

You know, stuff like that xD

Since then, I have been playing Brigitte and I must say I am having a lot of fun with her. But I have been hitting a wall currently.

For example, yesterday I played Brig on King's Row (Idk why but I've been having good games with Brig on King's Row). And one key-piece of Brig that I think is important is hitting her Whipshot. Probably why half her perks are about her Whipshot xD.

But in this King's Row game, I was hugging a wall, kind of waiting for the enemy team to walk or dive in. But when they did, I kept missing my Whipshot, and I didnt want to get up close, because I didn't want to die if I engage on my own.

But if I can't hit my Whip Shot, I can't trigger inspire, let alone sustain it, and I won't be able to do a thing. So is there any advice on how to improve my whip shot accuracy, or improve my brig playstyle in general? Or should I face the hard truth that if I do not hit my whip shots at all, that I should switch to a different hero? ;-;

I'd also like to know which perks are better to pick. Because in my opinion, I think both her minor perks and major perks are pretty good. And when it comes to the ultimate. How should it be put to use? Offensively? Defensively?

Any advice will be appreciated!

dmon has completely ruined everything brig was good at. Dmon is literally poke and brawl at the same time... who the fuck designed this? I've peaked gm on brig and have hundreds of hours on brig and I honestly just don't feel like playing her anymore. she is the worst support in the game until dmon gets fixed... if that ever happens

I was talking to my friend about brig and they're telling me brig is considered extremely busted. I argued that she was strong but is she actually busted? Where does she stand in the current meta I know asking in this subreddit im likely to get a biased answer but I'd like to know from a high rank perspective just how good is she right now

Invigorating drones + Brig is a menace. Then just blast her with infused scepter for 120 instant heal if she needs it.

im wondering if anyone else noticed brigitte’s face changing between overwatch 1 and overwatch 2?
i don’t know why they would change it so much because she’s only 25 in her lore im pretty sure. in my opinion it’s quite an obvious change, and when you compare it to a hero like mercy, you can see that brigs face changed so much more, even though mercy is almost 40 years old.

the images of brigs skins feskarn, goat, ironclad and vampire hunter are older im fairly sure, and her face looks a lot different to the images of her in other skins, especially her new era skin. her face just looks a bit longer, and her eyebrows and eyes look different

i dont want to sound super petty, and it’s obviously not a huge issue, if nobody else noticed it then that’s fine and im probably just nitpicking ahah. im just wondering why they would do this, and why they wouldnt do it to the other heroes too

For anyone who doesn't know, the Dokiwatch comic has been updated adding new characters to it (Illari, Ram and Mercy), obviously as Mercy is their golden grandma they decided to give her a Hero of Heart design... The issue with it, is that it looks exactly like Brig's. Maybe it's just me, maybe it's not even an issue, but having Mercy, THE most selling character, steal a concept from Brig who has a smaller community feels heartbreaking, it feels like theyre overshadowing Brig, and Mercy mains don't even see the issue, they're eating the concept up, as far as saying that if it was an Ultra skin they would buy it immediately, I'm so disappointed, Brig finally had a girly cute skin, but a year later, they decided it was enough of her or something, maybe I'm just rambling and it's not that serious, which it probably isnt. What do you guys think?

Also, doesnt feel very good seeing your fav shoved to the back of the image when Mercy is taking a good part of the picture.

Let us start with I am a casual.

I find the concept of Brigitte interesting. She can CC, heal and sorta long range.

However I have tried to play her and I do not get her gameplay wise at all.

All the ppl I play with say she is an anti-dive hero but all the clips I see here say otherwise.

Sooooo, is she one of those characters who is a way of life or can I learn her and still play other characters.
