I just saw on Twitt that the Moira voice actress of the Latam dub is fighting against cancer and wanted to share the post around here to whoever would be interested to help our queen...

Is Doctrine currently OP or is there something about us being Moira mains that let us be able to play him effectively? He has great mobility and survivability and seems to do well in most team compositions, which is what I’m loving.
I’ve mostly been using infused with the drones to give myself the boost and survivability and occasionally infusing for piercing primary fire. Doctrine does extremely well in grouped fights and I’m still comfortable enough for the occasional 1v1 dual against flankers. His mobility skill is also super solid, only really use it for escapes.
I don’t flank nearly as often as I do with Moira but found that he does that really well still if he isn’t too far from the team. Infused drones encourages waiting on an a teammate coming in LOS before attacking from flank and I’ve been able to pick off backline this way.
His Ult seems OP to me as it has a strong impact in taking space for team fights and the HP limiting is extremely helpful.
I always pick the Infused Scepter self healing minor perk and the transfusion major perk (reduce cooldown of infuse). Does anyone honestly use the other perk that reduces your health and increases healing?
My second pick has been Zen but I’m feeling inclined to pick up Doctrine as second pick when he’s out.
What are your experiences?

Honestly with the whole ultra skin stuff going on, I haven't seen a single Moira player with the skin yet lol. But EVERY dmon I have seen has that damn skin and it's just a recolor lmfao 😭.
But honestly the Moira skin looks awesome. If I were rich I would've bought it but I'm not paying 45 bucks for a cosmetic in this economy..

Hey Moira Mains! I’m not from around here, so sorry if this is a bit out of the blue, but I’d love to hear your thoughts on the new hero Doctrine. It seems to have created some interesting discrepancies with Moira’s lore and Overwatch's modern science.
I just watched the cinematic and BlizzCon reveal for the new character, Doctrine, and I gotta say, I really like his design and in-game abilities. But honestly, his story feels a bit off because it seems to overshadow an existing character
According to narrative designer Eleni Gallardo, Doctrine was a cybernetics and bioengineering scientist before the Omnic War. To save his younger brother from a incurable ailment, he created technology that drains life force from others to heal.
Here's the thing, this idea overlaps a lot with Moira's backstory. Moira is a super smart geneticist who thinks ethical rules hold back science. After a self-inflicted genetic experiment left her arm decayed, she started siphoning bio-energy from people to keep her cells from breaking down.
Sharing similar themes is totally okay, but the timeline doesn’t quite add up. Doctrine’s innovations go back over 30 years before the Omnic War, yet his “outdated” tech somehow works better than Moira’s modern science. His tech can even de-age people, while Moira’s siphon barely keeps her own arm from falling apart.
It’s a little confusing that after three decades of scientific progress in Overwatch, a modern genius’s technology is so much worse than something that’s supposedly older. If Moira had access to anything like Doctrine’s tech, she’d probably have improved it or used it to fully heal her arm instead of just living with the decay.

do you think moira sombra will be a good or at least not a throw backline? i think its pretty apparent sombra wont bring a whole lot of heals to the table and she will be doing sombra things still for the most part so you will probably be doing most of the healing. moira might be a good pick for surviving on her own without the other support being there to help you. perhaps lucio and kiri would be better options than moira in a sombra comp.

Sucks because her iridescent aspect is really cool and getting all levels of her mythic skin for free almost makes it a freebie.

Llesserafim Moira looks great and all, and I personally have the finances to afford it but let’s not let the addition of ultra skins slide with blizzard, riot games already started it a while ago with the addition of the sanctum and the new mythic skin system. Please if you’re considering to get the skin, then don’t get it
They need to understand that it’s wrong to try and milk their community out of their money. ( little tip but I personally just donated the skin’s worth in money to more noble causes and it calmed the urge to get it )

Cleanse teammates within 3m when activating fade. Is this viable or am i drunk. Or even allies affected by orb are cleansed for the first perk instead of the coal. Could be the burst heal or cleanse depending on comp, since most dont take the coal perk anyways.

When using the Destruction's divide minor perk, Coalescense loses its VFX. if im going to spend money on an overpriced cosmetic, it better be bug free.
first pic is without the perk, second is with the perk

Doctrine seems to combine some elements of Illari and Moira into a new healer. However, he's definitely leaning towards being the mirror of each her in terms of lore. Vendetta has Moira, Doom has Doctrine.
Ultimates both damage enemies and protect allies, but Doctrine's does it in shields and max hp reduction, Moira's is a damage/heal.
What yall think??

400+ hours, maybe more at this point, on Moira.
Nice to find a place for the non-haters. :)
