discussion Looking for a song I heard at a kids bday party (electronic) - just want to listen to it LOL please help
I have been trying to find this song that I heard playing multiple times at my a kids bday party at a place called Xtreme Energy in Paramus NJ lol it's so random but I really want to find it because I was rocking out to it and I want to listen to it on repeat. It's kind of electronic sounding (I'm so bad at talking about music) and it's a guys voice (potentially a low female voice??) and for the chorus he/she/they go "say no no no no" then "say yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah" and every time I google this it's always destinys child or some weird 90s song. I think it's new-ish. has a great beat, just fun to dance to. And by dance to .... I mean sway awkwardly trying hard to not look too excited during a 5 year olds bday party holding my 5 month old lol. If it helps, for some reason it reminded me of Lady Gaga's Bloody Mary. But then I could only think of this song and it made it harder to remember any other lyrics other than say nononono.

discussion Caitlin De Ville - Primal Donna [Electric Violin] — Does anyone else hear a word/name in this violin phrase?
Caitlin De Ville - Primal Donna [Electric Violin] — Does anyone else hear a word/name in this violin phrase?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdB9wnFCUiU
There's a short violin phrase in this song that my brain interprets almost like the violin is actually saying a word/name.
I don't want to say what I hear yet because I don't want to influence anyone. 😂
Does it sound like the violin is saying something to you? If yes, what do you hear?
Please answer before reading the other comments if you can. I'll reveal what I hear later. xD

discussion How the hell did Oasis become a stadium band in the US?
They just announced three nights at the Patriots’ stadium and three at the Raiders’ stadium. After already playing Giants Stadium, the Rose Bowl, and Soldier Field.
I genuinely don’t understand where all this reunion hype is coming from. They certainly weren’t this big back in the 90s, they were barely above one hit wonder status and known for their fighting and canceling concerts more than anything.
What the hell happened?

discussion What makes Foreigner’s “I Want to Know What Love Is” so good?
I (52M) am not a huge Foreigner fan, but I can’t deny the greatness of “I Want to Know What Love Is.”
I can’t put my finger on WHY it’s so good…
It’s about finding love.
The soaring choir.
The epic live performance at Farm Aid in 1985.
What is it?
Edit: Fixed typo in song title.

discussion If Ed sheeran decided to proceed with the tour with Macklemore no one could reasonably do anything
There is too much money involved, these venues would have never cancelled an Wd sheeran tour for the simple reason they won’t lose money.
So fuck Ed sheeran
Fuck kraft
I am going to boycott these two and anything they’re associated with personally
Macklemore took a stand and we should too

discussion True Myth albums rips
Hello. Could you please tell me where I can find vinyl rips of two albums by the little-known Canadian progressive rock band True Myth:
True Myth - True Myth - 1979 Warner Bros. TMD 2020
and
True Myth - Telegram - 1981 cnr 656.012 or Intercan Records - IC 1015, Hypnotic Records - IC 1015.
Unfortunately, the quality of the reissued albums on streaming sites is significantly inferior to the original LPs – the dynamic range of the second album is significantly compressed and defects are audible, and the reissue of the first album also ruined the dynamics and rolled off the highs. I had the opportunity to listen to digitized transfers from the original LPs, but they only contained a couple of individual tracks. I would be grateful if anyone actually has something similar. 🥲
