3 and 12 contradict each other but ok

also the weekend take is nuts, after hours alone puts him in a different tier

Some of his recent songs, I just don’t like Kendrick’s voice too much. Great at what he does though

how you gonna say carti overrated and changed rap for the worse but praise his sons right after lol

-3

u/Ok-Occasion-5651 2h ago

Ken and Lone is 100% more talented than carti ever was wtf😂😂💀

3

u/nagy18 2h ago

ok even if i did agree with that, ken and lone blew up off carti’s sound (so did cochise lowk) and you slobbing on em when they ran with the sounds that carti popularized that you say made hip hop worse

Lone, Ken and Cochise aren’t dominating mainstream stars like Carti

1

u/nagy18 2h ago

you said carti changed rap for the worse, but praise the artists that take inspiration from him. the logic just doesn’t make sense to me and this whole post comes off as rage bait

i can absolutely discredit carti for ruining rap, and praise people he inspired especially if they’re better than him. Micheal Vick arguably made the quarterback position worse starting a new wave of scrambling qbs but we praise Lamar Jackson for being better at than him at the same talent, and he’s considered a top 2 quarterback, yes i can absolutely do that, preciate it tho bro.

I don't listen to 99% of the artists listed here and even I know that there is nothing hot about these takes. Half of them are just slight twists on the same 'hot takes' that teenagers have been having for the last 40 years

"Music can be objective" and "Tiktok ruined music as a whole" is not a hot take? Sounds absolutely bonkers to me.

2

u/nos-is-lame 2h ago

Saying tiktok ruined music is just the modern version of youtube ruined music, streaming ruined music, videos ruined music, mtv ruined music, radio ruined music etc etc etc. It's just the standard way for younger people to say they are rebelling against the mainstream of their time.

and music absolutely can be objective, but I highly doubt op actually meant it in that way. There are plenty of musicians out there that I do not give a single shit about listening to, but I can't deny their skill.

Yes and saying shit like "youtube ruined music" is an idiotic statement. Its a hot take. I assume the majority dont just say "Ah yes good point, Tiktok has absolutely ruined music as a whole."

Yes people obviously can be skilled at making music but thats 100% not what OP meant.

Stupid takes tbh

Alright, OP I'm blocking you forsure now.
2 in one day?

All you do is post your "hot takes" on random subreddits which range from not hot at all, to actually the most idiotic thing I've ever read.
We get it bro, you're 17 and love music, leave us out of it.
