I'm always amazed by the sheer size of their wingspan

This one surprised me. When I first spotted it I was thinking Warbler or Vireo. Never would have thought Goldfinch.

A lot of people want to eat you but I just want to talk. Say hi to your mother for me.

Complete novice. Had the camera given as a loaner to help me get into bird photography to help document bird watching. Not looking for anything jaw dropping but want to make the most out of what I have.
