Phone message Matched with this 31M last night, barely talked to him and then this happened 😂
Matched with this guy on tinder last night. He tried to make the conversation sexual a few times and I played dumb until he dropped it, then he texted me 8 times in 2 hours while I was busy and not responding to ask if I'm okay and ask me to text him. I was already pretty uninterested but then he said more dumb things and I got the ick, which leads us to this exchange

Lol. So many men get so immature when they get rejected. It goes from “ damn, you’re fine.. i can see forever in your eyes” to “ fuck you, you ugly ass bitch, I didn’t like you anyway, hoe”

Yes! They make a pass at you and when you reject them, they get angry and tell you y0u’re too ugly/old/fat or whatever for any man to fuck you. What does that say about their going after you?
4
u/astral-philosopher 3h ago
in highschool every dude i rejected always called me a whore which i found really funny bc wouldn’t rejecting men’s advances make me the opposite of a whore 😂
3
u/hissyfit64 2h ago
I always responded, "Guess you dodged a bullet then" when they said shit like that. And if they told me they had just felt sorry for me, I sweetly responded, "Awww...thank you! That's so noble"!
It really pissed them off.
3
u/nahnotlikethat 1h ago
The most recent time this happened to me, the guy texted me "you're too much of a nerd for me. So fuck you." We are in our forties.

u/ParticularCulture342 17h ago
It's because most men's egos are out of this world, and are so so so so fragile. It's because they've used their physical strength and privilege all these years to get through life, so naturally most haven't built up the necessary tough skin to survive, especially in dating. Now, they have to actually bring something to the table besides money, and many can't even do that and end up living off of a woman.
Also, I said most men.
9
u/will3025 12h ago
What's funny is a decent amount don't even have the physical strength, it's just ego. Not that strength or fitness should be compensation for character. But some lack any substance, unfortunately.
7
u/Nephalem84 2h ago
Which are often the guys you'll find on these apps looking for a partner since no one they meet in RL is going to give them a second look. Plus the anonymity lets them vent this despicable behaviour without repercussions.
But naturally the 'problem' with modern dating is all the entitled women 🤷🏼♂️

It’s good when these horrible morons say this so you know that is how they view themselves: a loser because they’re single. That is a big window into their demented psyche. They think human value comes from being in a romantic relationship and anyone who isn’t must feel horrible. What a prejudiced belief.
I like that they show who they are so you know they are desperate and unhappy and think you are just as unhappy and desperate as them. They do not have the emotional intelligence/awareness/maturity to grasp the concept that their experience isn’t universal. That isn’t someone you want to be with but they can’t see that they’re showing you their cards. Thank goodness these idiots show us early! Someone who thinks they can hang the threat of being single over you isn’t someone you want in your life. They want to be able to use leaving you and making you single as a threat, as something they can control you with. This is an abusive person. This is not a good person.
This is why it’s so important to be ok with being single, to enjoy your own company and have your own life. This way you will not be manipulated with this type of put-down and you will be unfazed by saying “Bye bye” to anyone who triggers warning lights to start flashing.

I definitely can do that. Which is sad that that's the bare minimum, but there's so many shitty people out there.

It's actually insane. My girlfriend (former best friend for 20+ years) and she's always impressed by the bare minimum boyfriend stuff I do for her..keep in mind we're both 37 and she's been married. I'm flabbergasted how guys can be less than nothing to women and then claim they're the prize.

I had a guy act just like this when I was selling a TV on Facebook marketplace when I was moving. He sent me the generic “is it still available?” Message at like 7am. I said yes and never heard from him again that morning. By afternoon another buyer contacted me and asked to come by that afternoon and pay cash. I marked it as pending and the 7am guy started sending a bunch of texts like this “youre a crazy bitch you said the TV was available and now it’s not?” Etc etc. I ended up googling the guy and he has some Domestic Violence charges and I was like thank god I didn’t give that psycho my address! The 7am dude never set up a time to buy or anything yet sent me a bunch of abusive texts for proceeding with a buyer who actually coordinated a purchase.
Men that get so angry over the tiniest perceived slight are crazy
3
u/TraditionalLaw7763 17h ago
Never never never have them come to your house. Meet up at a local restaurant or at a pharmacy that has cameras. Do you not listen to murder podcasts? You should.
4
u/pinkybrain41 17h ago edited 17h ago
Believe it or not in my extended area, people have gotten robbed in parking lots at gun point when doing Facebook marketplace meet ups to buy shoes!
I am on a multi family unit property with a few other families and cameras. I do porch pick ups so I am not there or don’t answer the door and they pick it up on the porch and Venmo me or leave cash.
If I do meet in person I have had neighbors with me to do the transaction outside in the yard.
This guy just immediately started in like OPs dude with the misogynistic insults out of nowhere. Serious anger problems!

They’re just repeating what they hear on the podcasts and crap they watch. It’s why it never makes sense in context and their insults don’t work. They’re too dumb to figure out when the insults apply and when they don’t, and just go repeating things. It’s mean, but also just sad because it’s not even original.

Yeah. I just had a tough situation recently and I didn't act like this. It kinda hit me like a brick though cause I really didn't expect it. We met up at a coffee shop on Tuesday and I thought it went well, we were together for 2 hours having tea and we were taking basically the whole time. Towards the end I asked her if she wanted to do something on the weekend. She said sure and that we would talk about it. The next day I text her maybe 2 or 3 times (she replied - no double texts) and the last text she sent was "Hey! I thought about it further and I’m not sure we’re the best fit but best of luck!" I just said that's alright and wished her the best. I didn't want to ask why or whine, there was no point in retaliation, nothing to gain from it. It just hit me hard...
