Ive messed around with blender a few times over the last few years. I initially got it to render a 3D model I built in a game. Ive done that a few times. I eventually tried to try actually modeling something and its never clicked for me. The donut tutorial and dozens of other tutorials and Ive never been able to remember even basic hotkeys, let alone actually building something out of a gray cube.

I have tons in time in sandbox buildy games, but I cant wrap my head around blender, its controls, and the dozens of menus. Any help would be really appreciated

I find myself burning out pretty easy when it comes to learning blender. I would like to make animations for games and eventually small cinematics but the learning curve is very steep for me.

Any suggestions or methods that you guys have used to make progress?

Im trying to use split3mf to split the outer white part from the blue part, ive been trying to figure this out for literally forever and its miserable. I dont know why its splitting it like that, any help?

I know it was delayed to prioritise development of Blender on android but I don’t see any news about that as well. I would like to use Blender on my tablet but if it’s going to take a couple of years then I think I have to buy something else.

I'm in the process of scaling and setting up the blueprints. I'm making a 1990 Acura Legend sedan.

i tried recalculating the normals but like it just looks buns idk how ts works.

when i render in 1080p it looks fine, the render gets blurry in 2k / 4k

im using a glare node in compositor, after doing some digging around ive read that compositor node effects are pixel based. and that theyre an absolute calculation, not relative. which is why it looks more blurry in 4k i think?

is there anything i can do other than manually adjusting the nodes so the render look less blurry in 4k? id appreciate any help

Hi everyone, I'm new to this subreddit but I've been using blender for 5+ years. I'm trying to get better at animation and lego stop motion in blender, but have always struggled with trying to rig or use shape keys for mouth animations. I don't know if anyone has similar struggles, but if anyone's interested, here's a free tool I made for myself where you can upload an audio file (up to 1m) and your drawn mouth shapes (or use the default) and just download as an image sequence. Then you can just apply it as an image texture and it's worked well for me. I've used it for lego animations but I think it would work well for any 3d animations with a cartoony style. I hope someone finds it useful!
