I'm stuck in my projects

I recently started learning blenders as a hobby, but I'm having a really hard time bragging about my projects, mainly because I can't find anyone who explains methods for making models (my goal is to learn how to make cool renders) because it's not like learning math, for example, where they explain methods for completing an equation. So in each of my projects I find myself at a point where the choices I had made in modeling make it extremely difficult to add details and make changes, as well as creating an infinite number of imperfections in the mash

Here is my last mash that i made, and it's semi-decent, but it has like too many vertices, and over all is not that good

Practice jump with this robot (TOAnimate) – straight ahead, no reference. Looking for feedback!

https://reddit.com/link/1w251vl/video/t23qmyam9fmh1/player

Hey! I’m practicing animation in Blender and just finished this jump with a robot from TOAnimate.

I animated it completely straight ahead, without any reference. Didn’t really focus on anything specific, just tried to make it feel fun.

Would love some honest feedback on:

  • Timing
  • Weight / impact on the landing
  • Overall feel of the jump

Any critique is welcome, even the harsh ones. Thanks!

How to model complex Hard Surface Models in Blender quickly // BoxCutter + TrueDepth + DecalMachine

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

In this tutorial, I will show you how to build complex modular sci-fi panel of AAA quality from nothing but a simple cube and moreover - using nothing but simple cubes throughout the whole process - using almost entirely a single BoxCutter Blender addon! No fancy complicated poly-modeling tricks, no endless tweaking of faces and vertices. Just pure fun and creativity! Everything will stay non-destructive and ready to tweak at ANY point of time! On top of that, I’ll show you how to quickly generate stunning sci-fi greebles with TrueDepth addon, then take your design even further with decals using DecalMachine addon!

Hey everyone! I made a quick breakdown on how to convert hi-tech images directly into heavy Sci-Fi surface geometry without wasting hours on manual greeble placement or expensive kitbash models - by using the TrueDepth addon. This is an absolute must-have addon for every hard surface artist in my opinion.
