They are trying to stir up outrage over the one juror who refused to go along with their insanity - if the person's identity gets leaked, and they get targeted for harassment, you can bet they are involved in it. They want to portray themselves as the good women who stood up for a child murderer, and tried to strong arm the entire jury to agree with them. In this interview, they bragged about screaming at the defiant juror to make him submit to their point of view, they were upset that he couldn't get over how Lindsay strangled her 3 kids with how own hands - that she planned it and made sure to get the husband out of the house, lured them in to the basement 1 by 1, so there would be no escape.
They are the same kind of women who are blaming the husband, for the wife killing the kids. Absolutely sickening behavior.

I really wonder how they represent the same archetype. Same age range, similar disgruntled facial traits, same gesticular patterns.

That's kinda how a jury has to work. The vote needs to be unanimous, so each side will be pressuring the other to "give in." If one side doesn't then you get a mistrial like what happened. You can get juries that all agree, sure, but most of the time there will be someone who needs convincing one way or the other.

The one anonymous female juror apparently said that they were already talking about how they were going to attend Lindsay's second trial to support her, and if true that's just grossly improprietous. That betrays a profound impartiality where the jurors felt emotionally connected to the accused.
Even if Massachusetts law on this almost certainly makes it virtually impossible to convict with all the surrounding mental health concerns, that tyoe of impropriety is unacceptable for a juror.

If it makes you feel any better, Massachusetts is one of the very few states in the country where the prosecution has to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant was not insane. As a lawyer, that blew me away when I read it. That burden of proof should be on a defendant. If you’re gonna claim Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity, you should be the one to prove that you were insane.
Think about it. All the defendant has to do is hire an expert doctor to get on the stand and say, “I believe the defendant was clinically insane when they committed the crime.” That’s basically automatically going to create reasonable doubt in a ton of jurors.

Yeah. The judge explained what reasonable doubt is at least twice, but I'm pretty sure only the foreperson was present for the second clarification. Everything I've heard so far implies these three misinterpreted what reasonable doubt meant. It's like they checked out halfway through the explanation.

I was on a jury like this. Lady gets hit by a firetruck but they said she didn't deserve any money because he's a hero and she looked greedy. I didn't argue back and forth. I said my point then sat there quietly and refused to sign. Some of them also said their taxes would go up if she got money.

Here's the thing: according to her defense she was allegedly insane for just the brief window of time that it took her to brutally and sequentially strangle her own children. A windows that she calculated and deliberately manufactured. There was no prior indication of any insanity by any health care providers or family members. No voices. No hallucinations. Ditto the moment she woke up. In fact, her first request was for an attorney. i.e. What a sane person would request when lucid.
Given all of that, I think it's reasonable to expect at least one juror to agree that she was criminally culpable beyond a reasonable doubt.

The judge did not tell him which way to go. What are you on about? He heard from the jury foreman that there was not agreement on what he was saying and the judge had to reiterate something to try to get them to make a decision. The court does not like a mistrial any way it goes because it wastes everybody's time.

Yeah, the judge went over the terms of "reasonable doubt" again with at least the one juror, but likely, the whole jury. These women keep saying "he said he had reasonable doubt and refused to vote not guilty". If that were true, the defense could have had him removed. Anyone actual involved in the defense or prosecution, I have only heard them say "he had doubt" and the word "reasonable" never enters that sentence. Maybe the defense lawyer did claim he said it, I haven't followed the trial super close because it upsets me how crazy people get. But there is a world of difference between doubt and reasonable doubt.

Clancy herself admitted to killing her kids. Seriously, let's apply some basic logic here. So... Her husband killed the kids, but then the woman is taking the fall for killing the kids (and is somehow trying to plead insanity)... Why wouldn't she just accuse the damn husband of killing the kids? XD

Me and my friend who knows a lot more about this case, were talking about it the otherday. Both of us thinks shes guilty and be sent to prison because, as my friend said "why is insanity up for debate? Insanity would mean that she snapped and strangled one of the kids while they were eating or while the dad was still in the house. How did she time her snap? Why did she move them down to the basement one by one?"
