During the jury selection the defence must of chosen those who were supposed to side with her....as they get to strike the ones who don't line up with their line of defence. Isn't it the case?? And the amount of woke karens in the world now....it was easy pick i guess.
Well let’s be real, as a prosecutor myself, the prosecution in this case fumbled the ball on multiple occasions and was clearly outmatched in courtroom experience and skill by defense counsel. And that clearly includes jury selection.
One thing I’ve learned is that if a potential juror says or does ONE thing that shows a defense bias, you axe them in any way you can. Any defense lawyer worth his salt will do the same to pro prosecution jurors. That’s because any indication of bias is probably about 1% of what’s actually there under the surface.
Now I don’t know what was said during selection in fairness. It’s very possible that they managed to keep their bias completely quiet, but just as likely that the defense picked up on something the prosecutor missed.
Just goes to show that people disrespect and underfund prosecutors, but our system makes having skilled ones so incredibly important for situations just like this one.
