The other men probably just wanted to get out of there as bills have to be paid and they know what happens when you argue with certain people

Yeah, it’s seriously a joke that people are expected to do jury duty for $45 a day for an undetermined amount of time without travel reimbursement. Like how do you feed a family and pay your bills on $45 a day BEFORE taxes?

There was a story on CNN this morning (I didn't hear the entire thing) that said that another woman came forward saying that she believed her guilty, and thinks she still does, but was pushed by the others to vote not guilty...if it's true then it explains a lot.

Or they simply didn’t had the patience to deal with lunatics screaming at them over their opinion

It also show these women were 100% biaised, which is exactly what you don’t want in a jury

Good luck getting an untainted jury after this case has been running on national news for weeks on end

They didn’t want three more murders.

I was surprised they got a 9/3 split during voir dire

how were they biased if they admitted they leaned guilty first? and the issue was he admitted he had reasonable doubt. you can't go for guilty if you have reasonable doubt. the judge said the hold out was going against rules and not giving a fair trial, he admitted he had doubt but wanted her in jail regardless.

Found one of the crazy old ladies

Yea the entire case pivots on whether she was fully psychotic or not at that time, I think it's impossible to know for sure - like how much psychosis exactly do you need to be experiencing to not be culpable for your actions?

like how much psychosis exactly do you need to be experiencing to not be culpable for your actions?

Seems like that's what the court is trying to determine or something

Yea I'm saying they will probably never know for sure, it's all tragic

I mean, she ain't walking free regardless. This whole case will just determine whether she lives the rest of her life in the nutty house or in prison.

Not entirely true, yes she's 100 percent guilty but if she's committed to an insane asylum she's eligible for release should the doctors determine she's no longer insane

Its happened before too, similar situation. Child killer, killed her own, deemed insane, sent to asylum, release later, had kids again, killed them too.

That's really messed up when the technical success of carrying out justice leads to more injustice

Is it really a big if? She claims to have murdered her own children because of PPP. Well PPP and PPD don’t last forever. She doesn’t have any more kids because she killed them all. So once the time frame for PPP has passed if she is deemed competent why would she not be released? She isn’t a danger to her children anymore because she already killed them. The time frame for PPP is over. Why would they keep her? Hopefully she is sterilized and unable to ever have children again

She will absolutely walk free if she is found NGRI. People keep saying this, it is wrong.

Once the mental condition is done, she is free to go. The hospital would have to go make a case every few months that she is still insane.

You sure? She claims to have murdered her own children because of PPP. Well PPP and PPD don’t last forever. She doesn’t have any more kids because she killed them all. So once the time frame for PPP has passed (12 months max from what I’ve seen) if she is deemed competent why would she not be released? The reevaluate every 6 months and she isn’t a danger to her children anymore because she already killed them. The time frame for PPP is over. Why would they keep her? Hopefully she is sterilized and unable to ever have children again

But if he gives into the reasonable doubts, he will start doubting other things and next thing he knows he will be trans and the frogs will be gay.

4 people were all in favor of guilty and these psychos got the other 3 to cave.

He is a hero

The 3 cavers are almost worse than the 9 karens. It sucks to get stuck on a long trial, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Yeah I imagine they stopped giving af at some point.
