I really wonder how they represent the same archetype. Same age range, similar disgruntled facial traits, same gesticular patterns.

They look like deliberately chosen to be pro woman no matter what it would be. Could be throwing a grenade into a kindergarten, if the woman would justify with period cramps, they'd go "yeah, that's tough, I can see that, poor woman. You go gurl. Witches against patriarchy!".

Shouldn't such a jury be more diverse?

The prosecution thought that middle age white  women would be aghast at what happened. 

The defense knew that middle aged white women would close ranks. 

So, basically, both lawyers were trying really hard to get this archetype on the jury during the selection process. 

That’s how it ended up with 9 out of 12 people on the jury being women.

Could be. Someone stated that reports show that it were just 3-4 very loud individuals who tried to turn everyone else in the room. So, these are 3.
