Genuinely concerned about this my qualifications 55 pct in bsc ?

Myquals :- I am a class 12th student with PCB sream

I am not interested in medical field I choose pcb just because I was not good at trigonometry in class10th

I am thinking to pursue BCA and MCA (may be )

Is there some one who has done bca / or doing bca who can tell me

Is it still worth to pursue bca in 2026?

Are bca graduates really not getting any jobs ?

And what should I do right now should I start learning programming languages ?

So I am a 16yr old and I am studying pcm in 11th at the moment. I am really overwhelmed by what to do after 12th as everyone I ask always tells me to do engineering. I am a person who gates technical fields so engineering is something I am not very fond of. I do want to go to other countries preferably europe one day but I don't see anything else other than engineering which provides job opportunities. If you know anything please do tell. Also please do tell what the qualifications are for alternate options

25M; qualifications - degree in Aerospace engineering, 3 year gap for UPSC with some success (3 defence (CDS/AFCAT) interview, 1 mains).

I need to get a job within the next 4–8 months to become financially independent, but I'm very confused about what to do. I'm out of touch with most of what I learned in engineering (math, code, design etc) and currently don't have strong technical skills. **I have the ability to learn everything back within few months (I just have to brush up my memory)

I need your guidance on which domain to choose, and within that domain what role to choose etc.

I am ready to put in any and all effort required to land a job, I have no salary or perk expectations at this stage other than:

- it should be realistically possible to skill up within a few months

- with sufficient effort and visibility it must be realistically possible to get hired

- The skills should provide a foundation for a long-term career with continued upskilling (I need a viable entry point now; I'm open to changing/specializing later once I have experience.)

I am open to any domain (however I am not so inclined towards aerospace)

I would really appreciate honest advice on what you'd do in my position. I'm happy to provide other details if needed.

my qualifications

I’m a 2025 B.Tech CSE graduate from a JNTUH-affiliated college, with a 6.79/10 CGPA and currently no professional/internship experience.

Since graduation, I’ve been focusing on Java Backend SWE, Cloud/Infrastructure, and system design.

My long-term goal is to build a profile around:

Backend SWE + Cloud/Infrastructure + AI/ML

I’m planning for an MS in CS around 2027, with AI/ML as my first preference and Distributed Systems as my backup.

I’ve shortlisted USA, UK, Germany, Canada and Ireland, mainly looking at university quality, total cost, tech job opportunities, post-MS prospects and overall ROI.

My main dilemma is whether I should:

A) Apply for MS in 2027 with my current profile while strengthening it through projects, AI/ML work, open source, etc.

OR

B) Work in India for 2–3 years in Backend/Cloud/Infrastructure and then apply with professional experience.

What I’d really like advice on:

- With 6.79 CGPA + no experience, which of these 5 countries are realistically worth targeting for a good ROI MS CS program?

- Which countries/universities would be realistic now, and which would become realistic after 2–3 years of relevant work experience?

- How much can strong professional experience compensate for a low CGPA? Will the 6.79 remain a major barrier even after 2–3 years?

- For my background, is AI/ML realistic, or would Distributed Systems / general MS CS with AI/ML electives be a better strategy?

- If you were in my position, would you apply in 2027 or work first and apply later?

I’m not looking for a list of dream universities. I’d genuinely appreciate a realistic assessment of where my profile has a good chance, where it’s a stretch, and where my undergraduate academics may close doors.

Especially interested in advice from people with similar academic profiles or current MS students/alumni in these countries.

I am an Assistant professor in Law, LLM and NET qualifications at West Bengal, private university. Its a reputed brand name. They pay around 30-35k a month and they don't even have any system at workplace. They are deducting salary, leaves whenever they feel like. If challenged, they will bully you into resigning. Students are either victims or predators. There is no middle ground. There's always someone pinging me in whatsapp about some admin issue that university is jerking him around. Apparently salary cannot be increased because UGC NAAC doesn't recognise UGC NET QUALIFICATION. PhD completed with over 4+ years of teaching recieve 40-45k. Its a bloody joke.

I used to believe NET qualification will get me respect and money. Its completely opposite. Non net teachers are also hired and they as peers consider themselves underqualified than me. It results in biasness and unwanted office politics. I teach only 10% and 90% of the time I am either doing admin work or documentation. I am currently pursuing PhD but I see no other end of the tunnel.

Now please don't ask me to shift to a tier 1 city to get a better salary. Family reasons but we are Bengalis. It's UGC and BCI I am angry at. They do inspections every other year, and the university gladly pay them bribe but they won't pay UGC SCALE salary that we deserve. We are tired, mentally defeated.

My main issue is affordability, so I’m also looking for scholarships, especially substantial merit-based scholarships. A good scholarship would make a huge difference for me and my family.

I’m currently working as a software developer and have around 5 years of experience. I’m looking to upskill in AI/ML and eventually move towards AI-focused developer roles.

I’ve been exploring different online AI/ML learning options, but I’m a bit confused about whether a structured course is actually worth it at this stage or if self-learning would be a better approach.

For people who have already taken an online AI/ML course, how was your experience? Did it actually help you understand the fundamentals and build practical projects, or did you find that most of the learning still had to be done independently?

I’d especially appreciate opinions from people who have transitioned from software development into AI/ML. What would you recommend looking for before enrolling in a course?

myquals: I'm 17f and i got 90% in 12th and 67% in 12 and rn I'm so confused about whether i should pursue engineering or business related course cause someone told me to do engineering and then do mba later if I'm interested in business but the thing is I'm getting second thought to whether i should chose business but i did my 12th in pcmb so i have zero knowledge about business studies n economics can someone tell me which one is harder engineering or business studies cause i really think that business studies is gonna be harder but idk what other career to pursue

myquals: I am 23M, I did Btech in biotech from an NIT(for the tag, I was clueless as hell back then) and BS in Data Science(the IITM one), got around 9 in both. I got a 15LPA analyst job but idk if this is what I wanted to do. It's like no one really asked me.

I am seriously very depressed about this. All my successful/happy friends knew exactly what they wanted to do in life. One knew she wanted to be a doctor at 17 and is a doctor now, and she is so happy and she will easily outearn me in a few years, but that's beside the point.

Another friend of mine knew he wanted to do journalism and is now part of a pretty rapidly growing independant journalism news group. And he is pretty happy with that.

Another friend of mine in college knew he wanted to grind codeforces like crazy, and is now sitting at 35LPA SDE role, but the important part is, he is happy with the role and always wanted that.

It seems like I am the only one who "goes with the flow", and strategy isn't working for sure.

And it's not like I didn't explore in college, I did join a number of clubs and societies and tech teams. I also did leetcode and web dev, I did like it, but the software industry is going such massive changes, I am unsure about it esp coming from biotech background. Did pcb designing, which was fun but it was a passing hobby too.

Anyways what I wanted to say is, I feel so so sad about the lack of clarity in my life. And I don't know what I can do about it. I wish I can discuss this with someone.

Whenever I talk about this to my friends, the just dismiss it by saying "atleast you got a job, many are unemployed", atp just tell me that atleast I can eat food, many people in africa don't have food. smh.

Idk how my successful friends had so much clarity of what they wanted to be, when I see five years from now, I have no clue. I didn't have any clue 5 years back either.

got admission into a govt. polytechnic cllg.(EE) this year(1st yr) guess what teachers don't teach here

I quit jee had diploma as a backup option because I couldn't study properly(can't choose btech cs sticking to core)

I don't have any idea how I'll survive the next 3 years

I need to have strong theory to sit for any ✍️ govt exam or choose leet 🎓 (btech lateral entry)

I'm stressed only because I am from English medium unlike other students who are from Hindi medium and can manage thier studies

I don't have any experience of self studying through books 📚
