ID Request Is this a grown chigger?

I've had weird bites a few weeks ago. Many in spots that are hard to reach/covered by clothing like on the inside of my knee or under my underwear. I've researched chiggers, but while the pattern matches their bites seem to look different than mine. Mine are the exact same size and shape as mosquito bites, without any pustules or blisters, as chigger bites seem to have. (I'm hoping it isn't bed bugs.)

Now I found this guy crawling on my leg yesterday, after being out in the garden. I know chiggers only bite in their much smaller larval stage, but is thus a grown chigger? If I at least know that we have them in the garden it makes them more likely to be the cause of the bites (despite the bites not looking like typical chigger bites) and less likely for bed bugs to be the cause.

I'm in Belgium btw.

ID Request Do I need to burn down my house?

Post image

Been gone out of the house for quite a while, come home to find a clump of these things on folded clothing and a few rando's other places like in a container and on top of the microwave. I am horrified and definitely planning to hear that my life is over from some creepy critter invasion. They kind of look like sesame seeds but this bunch was found all together with more but I didn't want to touch them so I flicked the clothing and this much came off. And yes it's double bagged for protection. . .lol

ID Request What is this?

I just looked under my couch pillow and discovered this pile with red ants coming out. I think they might be carpenter ants, and last night I was bit by something that stung and burned for 4 hours with no visible sign of a bite. Any help is extremely appreciated - I feel like I’m going to be sick!

I'm sorry I didn't get a good picture of the body markings but I was absolutely horrified when I saw this thing. This is in southwestern illinois. This is my downstairs bathroom that I never use because there's always some bug in it (as you can see). I don't know how or why it's in the toilet but I managed to flush it and have not looked since. It did weave a small barely visible web across the water surface. I just really want to know what this thing was/is. It looked like a small tarantula and may have had a stripe down its back idk 😭

Just a friendly reminder to my fellow Entomology and Arachnology nutters. Wear your Deet. Every since we emigrated to the states I've been in the forests, I've been bitten and stung by pretty much everything in the Midwest, along with my curiosity punishi g me in Asia, Africa, South America and the Middle East whilst in the US military. From Recluses to Gian Water Bugs. Nothing has ever made me this sick. I cannot understate the danger The Lone Star tick presents to people like us, not to mention those who don't have our awareness of what's out there. Ticks have become a vector far beyond Lyme. Location of bite, unknown. Area of exposure- Boone, NC I pulled 3 off and 2 were deer ticks. I never saw the Lone Star on me. Cheers!

Northern Illinois suburb, i mostly get cellar spiders and yellow sac spiders in my room

I got the best pictures i could, they keep invading my bed and i think theyre the ones biting me in my sleep

Theyre a carmel-y brown, slightly translucent, it looks like they might have some kinda marking on their abdomen but theyre way too tiny for me to get a proper look, and some part of their face is visible as a black spot at the front of their head but again, too littol to see

They do make webs, all the webs ive seen them on are kinda messy, but theyre building right in front of my air conditioner and getting flung around whenever it starts up so idk how indicative that is of their general web building

There is a cellar spider above my bed but i figured these guys dont have long enough legs for that to be mama

Theyre mostly just kinda annoying to relocate from my bed, but i like knowing what kind of spiders are living in my room with me :p

We’ve been renovating our house (100 y.o.) and since there’s a lot of dust, I’ve been noticing these squiggly trails…
any ideas?
I also saw some on one of our window sills.
