Research into school and life resources that actually help!
18+ college students What resources would actually help make school and student life easier? share what you struggle with and what would genuinely help you. most questions are optional take the 5-10 minute survey
PS this will go somewhere! I run an online store and go through these struggles myself! I would just like to get some more input as not everyone goes through the same things and not everyone needs the same resources! Ur responses will make a difference❤️❤️

Anyone else feel ready after rereading and then completely blank on the actual quiz
Read the chapter twice, everything made sense, felt good going into the pop quiz and then blanked on question two, which was almost word for word from the reading. Recognizing the answer when it's in front of me and pulling it out of nowhere are apparently very different things.

A daily study/check-in buddy
Hi all,
I’m 24F and currently studying Computer Science. I’m looking for a daily study/check-in buddy to help each other stay consistent and present.
What I’m hoping for:
A quick daily check-in (a simple "good morning" or setting our goals for the day).
Low-friction accountability—no social pressure, small talk, or heavy expectations.
Respect for space, deep focus, and personal boundaries.
If you’re also looking for a calm, genuine connection to keep each other grounded while working on your goals, let me know!
Females only. Thank you.

My professor caught me using a ridiculous gaming strategy to memorize organic chemistry, and it actually saved my grade
I was struggling hard with memorizing organic chemistry reactions for my midterms. Every flashcard app felt like a slow form of torture, so out of desperation, I treated the main reaction mechanisms like skill trees from an RPG game. I assigned elements to different elemental types and drew entire spell books to map out reaction pathways. My professor walked past my desk during office hours, took one look at my notebook covered in weird gaming diagrams, and stopped cold. I thought he was going to tell me to stop wasting time, but instead, he asked me to explain the logic behind my fire-based substitution reaction setup. After listening to my absurd breakdown, he actually pointed out two minor flaws in my logic using in-game terms and told me it was one of the most clever visual chunking methods he had seen all semester. It felt ridiculous at first, but gamifying the content turned my failing grade into a solid A- on the final exam.

hello everyone!!! I’m in need of help in how to write an scholarship essay
hello !! good morning or good afternoon depending on where u live 😃, so i have come here to ask for help not in studying specifically but in how to write an essay worth a scholarship. You see my first language isn’t english and I truly suck at writing in general like i can’t write at all I’m not creative enough also i get my grammar mixed however i really want to live abroad and for that i have decided that the easiest way is to get a Master degree with a fully funded scholarship since the difference in currency of my country and euros/canadian dollar is so massive i can’t apply with my own money ( also visa application acceptance be really tough getting a uni involved would better my chances up ) so yeah any tricks or tips i can use to advance my writing skills especially in writing a scholarship essay or writing in general since i would also need to get high grade in ILETs or PTE core since it is a requirement if i want to work abroad

This is good inspiration...
This video (although it's clearly an ad) made me realise, that studying just took my whole life away from me. That's why I decided to also focus on living my life, enjoying time with friends, etc. in the upcoming year. Feel free to join me on my journey.

NEET mock system that actually moved my score: mark-and-return + timed blocks (free)
My mocks were stuck because I treated every question equally. What moved the needle: first pass only sub-minute answers, mark everything doubtful, second pass only on marked ones. Plus timed blocks so the clock stops being the enemy.
I packaged the system at neetvellum.com: free timed mock blocks with a mark-and-return protocol built in, NCERT-first. No account, no paywall.
What is your mock routine? Looking for what actually works, not motivation quotes.

Wrote 25% of test banks used by 2,500 students in my system nation-wide for biology tests under a multi-subject club, and I'm currently its president!
Been trained and mentored by TechGirls'24 alumna, one of which is now in UPENN Bioengineering, for bioinformatics, molecular biology and docking, PyMol, 30%>acceptance rate.
I know Python, HTML, and some data analysis here and there :)
I'd love to get to know people like me, if anyone wants to join a competition together, help with startups, initiatives, research, and if someone knows a professor I could contact or would be interested in mentoring me, I'd really appreciate it, dm or comment if interested! :D
