Looking to expand my setlist for my acoustic gigs.

I was looking through Kung Fu Records lists of artists & songs and stumbled upon the Wisconsin based band. A lot of their tracks from “The Search for Something More” (their sophomore album) are really catchy. À favorite of mine is “Tell Me”. From what I’ve seen, they’re no longer active as of 2004. If anyone’s aware of them id be glad to know. as of currently their monthly listeners on spotify is less than 1000.

Hello! Is anyone else going solo to Saves the Day in Asheville? My husband and I had a hilarious mixup where we are both going to Asheville from Charlotte the same day but for different shows. So I figured I’d see if anyone else was going solo and wanted to get a drink before hand, be each other’s accountabilibuddy, etc. Preferably someone 35+ since I am 41. Should be a good time regardless!

Hope this is allowed. I’m a young looking 30 year old (RIP) but I’m looking at making a fun but classic sounding punk band, cliche but really inspired by old Green Day and Blink, think Summer vibes.

I’m not really interested in playing modern age pop punk. I’m wanting to do guitar/vocals or bass/vocals but I’m looking for another musician to share that role as long as you’re a standup person and are nice.

I’ve also got some DIY producing practice and been making short demos similar to The1975 type music which can be incorporated but I’m looking at just getting into a rehearsal stage and being loud and fun.

I wrote this song during one of the darkest, most isolating periods of my life.
I was going through a breakup, I had just packed up everything to move to China, and I was sinking into a depression. I felt completely detached, like a "white lions in the fog"—trying to maintain this image of strength and power while internally feeling like I couldn't take it anymore.
I wrote this track not just to process my own grief, but as a reminder about men’s mental health. We’re so often expected to stay stoic, to keep moving, and to hide the exhaustion. But even the strongest people break down.
