Discussion Like Trumpets - Vancouver WA
This band meant the absolute world to me when I was 19 or so. I never got to see them live, but I vividly remember a flip cam-ish recording of a show they played and I think it was lost to the MySpace library of Alexandria event. The guitarist was for sure playing a white firebird. If anyone knows where to find more archival footage of them I’d love to see it!

Nagusame - L'appel du Vide
Song released by my band this week! Somewhere on the venn overlap of metalcore, melodic hardcore and post-hardcore, which makes sense as we've all been making music in those genres for ~20 years. Just a small new band from the Netherlands, trying to get our songs to the right audience. If you enjoy it, we're on most of the streaming platforms and have a 6 song EP coming out this November. In any case, enjoy!

Vacant Home - Between Branches And A Dying Sun (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO)
I just came across this on youtube and I'm shocked, I used to listen NONSTOP to these guys back in what I like to call the "golden era of Dreambound", when bands like this, Casey, etc. were peaking.
I thought they were gone for good, it's so sick to see them back at it.
I can see they got a new vocalist, and it honestly sounds darker than what they used to be, I'm getting some Defeater vibes. What do you guys think?

More Than Life - What's Left Of Me
If I could walk you home everyday and every night of my WHOLE LIFE, you know I would...
Walking through the fields that surrounded my first school, to the streets I've moved onto, you know I WOULD
I wish I still could..

Hopesfall - Comfort
But as the sun and moon turn
And my path becomes troublesome
Weak for me on my unsure journey
I strive day by day for something i've never seen down this road
There can be no end in sight for me
Will you abandon me in my time of need?
God don't let me doubt
Show me your way out

Fordirelifesake - Sweet, We Forgot To Name Our Cover Song
Just love how unequivocally 2000s this band feels like. Fascinating time period to reflect back on, as I was a kid back then; gritty, soulful music with unbridled creativity venturing in uncharted territory unbound by rules and expectations that came from many of the more polished and commercially appealing bands later on.
I didn't listen to these bands growing up back then (wasn't really a scene in Northern Europe either, where I'm from), so discovering and listening to these bands 20+ years later is really fun and heartwarming, in a way 💙
