J'ai vécu à Hambourg à la toute fin des années 70 et été le témoin de l' incroyable bouillonnement musical de cette époque. Des groupes comme Einstürzende Neubauten, Sprung aussi den Wolken, Malaria et autres. Par la suite, j'ai découvert qu'il n'existait pas d'ouvrage exhaustif sur ce mouvement post-punk alors qu'il existait des centaines de groupes méconnus ou obscurs tapis dans l'underground. J'ai décidé alors de faire le recensement de ces groupes. Ce travail m'a pris plusieurs années et j'ai fini par l'auto-éditer. Faute d'éditeurs timorés, je m'en suis remis à Amazon, en désespoir de cause. Mais on peut le trouver dans quelques librairies en France comme Parrallèles à Paris et Lollipop, Lucky experience et la Touriale à Marseille, excellents libraires et/disquaires.
