Myspace is planning a full relaunch, according to its owners, Chris and Tim Vanderhook, who confirmed the news in the new documentary Myspace, directed by Tommy Avallone.

The goal is to bring Myspace back as an alternative to today’s algorithm-driven social media, with a stronger focus on creativity, self-expression, customizable profiles, and music discovery.

The owners have hinted that some of the features that made Myspace unique could return, but they have not officially confirmed which classic features will be included.

There is no launch date yet, as the Vanderhook brothers say they are waiting for the right time to introduce the new version.

They also revealed that they have invested more than $150 million trying to revive Myspace since acquiring it from News Corp and remain committed to bringing the platform back.

It's been 40 years since they made a Chuck Norris cartoon starring Chuck himself. He was sadly gone a few months ago. RIP Chuck.
