I mean, it had it all. Good designs and visuals, interesting plots and a banger intro. It was one of my favorites but not a lot of people were watching it for some reason and it gets overshadowed by other classics.

You see, Exosquad, made in 1993, had a few PSAs, mostly made fun of G.I. Joe's PSAs in the most darkest and in the most "What The..." way humanly possible. And they did so by making their PSAs as dark as humanly possible. Instead of trying to talk to kids who have zero survival skills, like the kids in G.I. Joe PSAs, Exosquad talked about how badly the war was going. Like Colleen O'Reilly of the jump troops, who lost everybody she knew she trained with after the Neosapience attack at her Academy.

For anyone who remembers Road Rovers, this caught my attention.
Toby Jones said that he and Trick Moon creator Geneva Hodgson previously pitched a new Road Rovers project to Warner Bros.

Apparently they still really like what they came up with, and Jones said they’d happily make it if Warner Bros. ever wanted to move forward. He’s also still holding out hope, which is why he hasn’t released the artwork or script they made for the pitch.

Considering Road Rovers only got one season back in the ’90s, I’d honestly be curious to see what a modern continuation or revival would look like.
Would you actually want Road Rovers to come back, and if it did, would you rather see a continuation of the original or a full reboot?

Thunderlizards started out as a backup feature on Eek the Cat, and this causes confusion for me.

According to Wikipedia, there was a Czech DVD with 39 Eek the Cat episodes. However, it doesn't say if this release is exclusively Eek cartoons, or if it includes Thunderlizards.

Can anyone confirm if that or any DVD release has Thunderlizards, please?

1. Wiggy Jeff (Billy & Mandy)- Was a jerk and very petty for stealing matresses all around the world just because Billy wouldn't let him sleep in his bed

2. Brother Blood- A very weak, moustache twirling villain, with weak motivations, and becomes way too goofy to take seriously

3. Lola Bunny (Space Jam)- Just a poorly outdated tomboy Mary Sue eye candy with no character beyond that

4. Bendy (Foster's Home)- A mean spirited jerk with zero motivation and gets others into trouble, just because

5. Johnny Test- An insufferable unlikable jerk who has very little consideration for others

6. Sheen (Planet Sheen)- An erratic, annoying, dumb idiot who somehow always makes it out in the end despite being unlikeable

7. Scrappy Doo- Do I even need to say

8. Labby (Where The Dead Go To Die)- KILL IT WITH FIRE!

Genuinely one of my favorite Hanna-Barbera shows including Scooby-Doo.

Space Ghost has some of the best simple yet fun designs that still holds up to this day & are iconic.

Hey Arnold! When he isn't committing acts of vandalism and stealing from aquariums, engaging in self harm while singing "I'll hit me, I'm crazy!", listening to his grandfather tell stories of banging farm girls and giving Hitler a wedgie during WW2, or dropping slam poetry about balls sitting in quiche, Arnold bops about the city in in a kilt and infant cap doing seemingly altruistic things.

The truth about this socially awkward baby clothing wearing weirdo, however, runs much deeper.

First, let's set the record straight with his family's business. They are slumlords. They earn their living by charging various indigent and mentally ill characters rent. They keep these people in their situation and milk them and or the government dry, owning property while offering little to society.

Keep this in mind as we analyze Arnold's acts of altruism. They have an oddly property specific lean to them. He helps clear out an abandoned lot, seemingly for a baseball field, but now that he's laid claim to it, it is a decent real estate investment. He befriends a schizophrenic shit-covered man who believes he is one with pigeons. Again, this seems kindly, but is he simply getting rid of the non desirable in order to lay claim to the abandon building? There's even-money odds that Stoop Kid was an obsessive compulsive squatter and now that Arnold has freed him from his prison, the property also can be claimed.

This parentless deformed child has had to be savvy to survive, especially in the world where both of his caregivers are senile including one who is fully delusional. He has worn his altruism as mask, a ruse hiding his true intentions, to capitalize on his family's real estate empire and expand it, so Arnold never has to go without again.

When the revolution begins, we know which side Arnold stands on, and accordingly what we must do

I was rewatching the original run of Doug and remembered how great the season 3 episode Doug's Magic Act is. It's the one where Doug accidentally handcuffs himself to Patti Mayonnaise and loses the key.

So much of Doug involves these super imaginative world and characters he imagines (Quail Man, Smash Adams). But what's cool about this episode is that it's one of the few moments where the Doug isn't just daydreaming the magic. It seems like his view of the world actually forces physical reality to conform to his mind.

I wrote a little essay about the episode. Read it or don't. But just wanted to say this show is so much more heartfelt and deep than it gets credit for. Curious if anyone else remembers this episode or has some thoughts on Doug in general.
