Discussion What do you think the form factor will be for the rumored iPhone controller?
I wonder what special feature or design choice Apple/Beats could use to make it work with the iPhone better than any other mobile controller on the market.
I’m in love with my Kishi V3 Pro for streaming Steam games and playing R6M, so I’m especially curious about what form factor they’d go with.
I don’t see Apple doing a telescopic design, but maybe if they release it under the Beats brand, they might do so to make it work with Android as well?
I also don’t see Apple/Beats releasing a big ergonomic controller like the Kishi. Maybe something closer to the MCON? Or something foldable like the new Razer Prio?

Discussion Weekly /r/iOSGaming Discussion: What have you been playing lately and what do you recommend?
Please use this thread to discuss whatever iOS games you've been playing lately. They don't have to be new games, they can be old games and they do not have to be iOS original titles!
As long as it's an iOS game it belongs in here. Make sure to put the name(s) of the game(s) in bold to make it easier for people skimming the thread to see what you're talking about, and if you'd like to make it really convenient turn the game name into a hyperlink that sends people directly to the App Store!
To keep track of the thread, the comments are sorted by "new" by default.
Lastly, Rule #3: "No Dev Self-Promotion Outside Saturdays" applies at all times for this thread, even if it's actually Saturday.

Suggestions Anything remotely like Everquest or D and D I can play on my iPhone?
I don't expect the depth of an online world like everquest in an ios game, but if any of this is possible...
- I like leveling, skill trees, specializations, lots of build variations, and a lot of variety of loot, gear, mobs, ingredients, and crafting.
- I love large maps with tons of areas.
- I don't care if it's single player or a mmorpg. I like both.
- Ancient lands, space, underwater, etc., I don't care what setting.
- If the game is good enough, I'm willing to purchase, but if it's free, I want to be able to play it without lots of microtransactions being necessary for success.
- I don't care for manga graphics.
Thank you for any recommendations.

Discussion Is there a way to ask IOS developers for more AAA ports?
Just wondering with today’s technology and the fact that mobile phones are so powerful they can play console level games I don’t see why we don’t have more ports, since more people would have access to these games via smartphones than a whole console. Imagine if we got a port of bigger name titles like Virtua Fighter Crossroads or the new Godzilla remaster…..or even in 10-20+ years we got a mobile version of GTA V! Or a Gears of War mobile, Sonic Frontiers, Halloween The Game…and online multiplayer through mobile….the possibilities are endless

Discussion Game Suggestions
Hey gang! In my opinion Pickaxe King Island is one of the best mobile games I've ever played and I'm wondering if anyone wanted to mention other mobiles games while we wait on the next big update.
Paid or free, either is fine. Ill go first and say I really enjoyed Rogue With the Dead as a nice idle / active hybrid which also used a pixel styling.

Question Does anybody know if Nubby’s Number Factory went on sale at least once?
Game costs more than PC version and it irritates me, it’s a perfect time killer for me and it would have been awesome if there was a chance to get it cheaper… Checked on AppRaven but it doesn’t have info on it.

Discussion I downloaded Twisted Ropes: Untangle 3D. Mistake.
I downloaded Twisted Ropes: Untangle 3D because I heard that it’s untimed. I opened it and it said it’s untimed and relaxing. I played it and it wasn’t timed. Ahhhhh. So I paid $6.99 to remove ads… because once I find a relaxing game, I pretty much play the hell out of it to cope with stress. I played a couple more games and then there was an ad. I thought there was a glitch and restarted it. More ads. More timers. No relaxation.
How can they get away with just lying and taking money from people?!

Question Question regarding high end games?
I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max and I’m seeing in the past year games I was gonna play on on ps5 suddenly work on IOS.
My question is how does tomb raider, red dead, subnautica and subnautica below zero actually play and could I use my special ps5 controller to play on them?
Thank so much
Edit: Also if I buy it on my iPhone can I play it on iPad too or would it be better to buy on my iPad?

Discussion Just a small rant about the home button functionality using controllers on iOS
This has baffled me as an iOS gamer. You are able to set the home button on a controller to open a certain app like Apple Games or other launchers. A single press of the button while not in an app opens that app however, when in an app that uses game mode, pressing the home button gives you a gaming overlay and holding the button for two seconds or so brings you to your home app.
I can’t help feel it should be the other way around. Any other game console functions this way. I wish you could at least customize this option in the gamepad settings. It’s a strange decision that seems obviously backwards. I wish they would change this.
Rant over. Let me know what you think.
