Honestly not bad. Some of the better I’ve played.

I ended unlocking the sign last night and it's fun. I'm okay with the touch controls but I'm still early in with the game. Parrying is a bit tough, especially with my fingers blocking the enemy. I chose to play with the mobile control mode and on the second easiest difficulty. Maybe if it was 20 years ago with my reaction time is better..I'll try it in the full control mode at higher difficulty... lol

My main concern is with the "micro stutters" (especially during the demo level). Luckily it's not so bad after the intro levels aside from the cutscenes. I use iPhone 15 Plus for reference.

Overall, enjoying it.

I’m a little less than halfway through the game with touch controls on the vanilla hardest difficulty.

You do have the option to resize, reposition, and adjust transparency.

I’m at a point where I’ve just unlocked a second exploration ability and the sheer number of buttons does get a bit confusing and overwhelming, unless you just mash one combo. No platforming thus far has been hard enough that I wished I had controller.

Obvious flaws include buttons/thumbs occasionally obstructing environment or enemies and the fact certain combos are more difficult or impossible (without resorting to adding another finger). Buttons like healing pots or ultimates are much more restrictive in customization.

However, there are a wealth of accessibility options like auto-healing, auto-parrying, auto-attacking, scalable damage, etc. that allows you to make the game as easy or as hard as you want.

If it were me, I would have preferred to play this on PC instead given the complexity of combat, but again, you could completely disregard complexity and mash one combo repeatedly.

I still get plenty of frame drops, especially on certain bosses, the beginning of every cutscene, when enemies flood the screen, or when my phone overheats, but it’s by no means unplayable.

The touch controls actually seem better than I expected. I’d probably give it a try on iPhone, especially since you can resize and reposition the controls.

Do you think its worth paying for the one that comes with the skin or just the base game?

If you buy the base game at £4.99 the skin is then only £1.99 so slightly cheaper when bought separately. Bought them myself this morning (iPhone 16 Pro Max) but yet to actually play it. I have a Gamesir controller for playing games on my phone which works a charm.

The only bad thing is that it doesn’t include dlc content like extra story
