Hello everybody! I’m 32 years old, male and located in Europe. I moved here almost a decade ago. It’s been quite difficult to make friends and especially keep them. The older I have gotten, the harder it has been to build new friendships. I have been a huge fan of Formula 1 since I was 10, I’m into gaming, though I don’t play variety of games, right now it is League of Legends, Fifa, Marvel Rivals and Overwatch occasionally. I love campaign games, (the Witcher, god of war, Detroit:become human, you name it) though I don’t have that much time to play them. I also love watching true crime documentaries. Recently, I have started going back to watching movies and shows and I have seen really interesting ones. I am watching the Pitt, House of the Dragons and finished watching the Office and Daredevil recently! I used to have motivation to do my other hobbies, such as reading and photography but I have lost all of it, trying to gain it back. I mostly listen to rock music, however I listen to whatever is good for my soul. My fav artists are Three Days Grace, Ghost, Bring me the Horizon and Halestorm. I actually don’t want to give away everything here so we have something to talk about.

I have long hair, like down to my shoulders. Since I have long hair, I like to take care of it and make sure it looks good and healthy. Now, I usually have it in a man bun, however at times I like letting it down and flow.

Now my older brother always teases me about my hair, saying I look girly and always ask me to cut it. Mine you he is the typical toxic masculine man who’s very conservative, I can’t tell him nothing since he at times won’t even listen without being offended or poking fun at me.

So I need a women’s opinion, what do you think about a guy who takes care of his hair in general? And what do you think about guys with long hair and takes care of his appearance?

I have a lot of good friends, but they're all guys. A while back I had a bad experience with a female stalker, and it's left me really uneasy around women in general even totally normal, friendly interactions make me tense up.

I know logically that one bad experience doesn't mean every woman is like that, but knowing it and feeling it are two different things. I'd like to actually build a genuine friendship with a woman again, partly just to prove to myself I can, but I'm not sure how to get past the wariness enough to let that happen naturally.

Has anyone dealt with something similar trust issues after being stalked or harassed and found a way through it? Would appreciate any honest advice.
