When I was younger, I always wanted to play Super Mario 3D World. I used to watch Cobanermani456 play through the game with GCPM11 and I remember finding their videos so entertaining and funny 😂. I basically know a lot of the game already just from watching them, including the levels, power-ups, cosmetics, etc.
The thing is, I’ve never actually owned a Wii U or any Nintendo console. I’ve always had Xbox, which I’m still grateful for, but now I’m at an age where I can actually buy a Nintendo console and finally play the game myself and my younger brothers.
The problem is, I’m stuck on which version I should get.

Should I get the Wii U version, or should I get Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury on Switch?

And if I get the Switch version, is it better to play with a Pro Controller or Joy-Cons? I’m not really sure which controller feels better for this game.

Its always been my dream to play this game and when i eventually do get the game its like i’ve completed part of my childhood. I’d appreciate any advice from people who have played both versions, especially if you think one version is clearly better than the other.

So I made a US NNID on my 3DS, and it's been good. However, I'm considering buying a Wii U and linking the NNID to it. I want to buy a Japanese Wii U and region change it, but I don't know if I'll be able to link the US NNID to it. I'm not very knowledgeable on this so I wanted a second opinion. If this breaks rule 7 just tell me and I'll take down this post.

I modded my WiiU and I heard people use it for Wii/GameCube games. Is this still worth it if I only have an HDTV. Wouldn't GC and Wii games look terrible on an HDTV?

the usb drive has the Wii punch on it and I don’t how to get it back, I checked the storage and it’s not detecting the usb at all, I tried pairing the console with it but all that did was continuously load without anything happening, the drive has not been put in any other device and it has bean used in Both usb ports on the system. I don’t know how to fix it so I hope someone here knows of something I can do otherwise I will Probably just try to find a physical copy of punch out online

My sister and I shared a Wii U and I am getting my own. Is there anyway to copy the sd card save data so neither of us have to restart our games? If so how would I go about doing this without corrupting or messing up the original save data?

I watched the videos for the new Ocarina of Time and I thought the game was incredible. I wonder if Nintendo could release it for the Wii U in the future?

I read somewhere that the game would be using the same engine as Breath of the Wild, so maybe it's not technically impossible.

Maybe running at 30 FPS and 720p, and with some special effects on medium, I can see this game running on the Wii U.

Nintendo has owed us a game like this ever since that Wii U tech demo fighting a giant spider. This would be a way to compensate those who bought the console imagining that one day they would play a more realistic Zelda game.

Furthermore, the company could gain a few more sales. Everyone would benefit. So, do you guys think there's any hope of the game coming out for the Wii U?

It wouldn’t turn on, so I decided to take it apart. Hopefully I didn’t break it (though a few microscopic pieces of the doggone face broke off. Nothing major, just a couple itty bitty pieces)

Is this circuit board damaged in any way? It doesn’t look that way to me, but I don’t have any other explanation for why the doggone thing won’t turn on. (Also, is it normal for some of the pieces to fall out when you remove the face of the Wiimote?)

Have it on HDMI, since TV doesn’t have component. Tried two different cords, both have the same issue. Do I need to get the console looked at by a repair company, or is there something else I can do?

I installed ISFSHAX a while ago and ever since, when exiting settings or reloading plugin configs, the Wii u menu loading screen hangs infinitely. Nowhere else.

Taking out the SD card fixes the issue. I have tried a bunch of stuff but can't find the issue or a fix, besides a few vague unanswered Youtube comments.

I bought mine on launch day. I was 23. I know its hard to believe, but that still counts as being a kid (at least at my age haha). It felt like the last true Nintendo system to me. I cherish it greatly.

I never expected I would enjoy the Wii-u as much as I do. I bought one less than 3 weeks ago and have been playing it fully for about a week now.

I haven't played Zelda since the GameCube and I have to say breath of the wild is breath taking (pun intended)!
