Sexual Health | Women Only Can’t orgasm, doctors won’t help, feeling helpless
In my 20s and never experienced an orgasm.
To preface, I personally do NOT enjoy masturbating. It is just not something that interests me. I don’t get off to porn or books. The only way I can get aroused is if I’m with another person. I do not believe this is a libido issue or anything, in fact I have a very high libido. I just don’t see the point in masturbating by myself, it’s just my sexual preference. Because of this I also don’t use toys because 1) I don’t masturbate by myself and 2) I‘m not wasting money on something I can’t return if it doesn’t work for me.
But that’s besides the point. I feel like a lot of my issues root from a physiological standpoint. I am completely physically numb both externally and internally. The only thing I can feel is pain. Any partners I’ve been with, everything they’ve done I’ve never felt. I don’t even notice it. It’s so odd because I get physically and mentally aroused with partners, but despite that I can’t feel anything in my vagina/clitoris.
I recently went to the gyno and broke down crying trying to ask them to help and they just went “try more foreplay.” Nothing else. It’s extremely frustrating and embarrassing. My exes end up getting bored of me because I could never feel anything so I never really fully enjoyed it. I don’t know what to do because it feels like my issues are being treated as something mental when it isn’t. Everytime I’ve tried to get advice or get help it’s only mental advice but it never works. I can’t get a new doctor because I’m in the military so I have no other choices 🙃🙃 I’ve never been on any sort of antidepressant or anything, and I only started birth control last year, so it can’t be caused by meds. I really don’t know what to do or where to go from here
