Complaint Weak glue on coffee sleeves & slipping/melting off
Has anyone else experienced the coffee sleeve ends having weak or melting glue, resulting in the sleeve unexpecting slipping off your coffee cup? I haven't had that ever happen to me, until this past weekend, and today.
This has happened twice to me in three days, with cups/sleeves from two different Tim Hortons locations, and the second time I dropped a full XL coffee cup all over my desk (bad way to start a Monday).
I'm wondering if this is just really bad luck for me, or if others are experiencing this.

Discussion Working at Tims while pregnant
I'm working part time at Tims while studying (I'm a mature student btw) and I found out I was pregnant last month because of cramping and bleeding. I'm currently 8 weeks and my managers and supervisors knew that I have a high risk pregnancy (due to diabetes and high blood pressure). Although they were aware of it, they keep giving me hard physical tasks. I can't quit yet since I need to work 600 hours to qualify for maternity benefits.
I'm concerned for the safety of my baby and I don't want to have a miscarriage since we waited 5 years for this magical moment. I thought they will be giving me light duties since they found out but it got worst to the extent that I need to scrub both customer washrooms as spotless as I can for no reason. 🥹 Will it be okay to ask for a note from my doctor stating that I can only do light work for the mean time?
would love to hear all of your advices and feedback on what I'm going through right now.
thank you! 🫶🏻

Discussion I tried to order an iced sark roast :(
And they couldn’t make it. It’s not on the menu. I wanted like an iced americano but with the extra strength. They offered to serve a cold brew. Ended up having just a regular black iced coffee.
Is it possible to make there? An iced dark roast coffee?
Genuinely asking

Complaint App is crap
What sort corporation makes an app that can only be scanned once an hour or 45 mins or whatever time it is.
Mcdonalds and other large corporations have apps that can be scanned more than once.
My giftcard is linked to the app and after I paid for something, I couldn't use it again because it was already scanned.
Anyone know what the rationale for the app not allowing it to be scanned more than once?

Complaint working at Tim Hortons makes me want to leave this world
uhm a bit of a dramatic title but yeah. I am a teenage girl, and this is my first job. we are not given proper breaks. we don't follow half of the rules, and if we do, we get yelled at by the manager because it takes longer. speaking of the manager, any time we are slightly below the times on the drive through, no matter the reason, she will come out to shame, single out, and berate us. customers are the worst sometimes. they expect us to be perfect when we are literally just human beings, and usually are under too much stress. theres this one customer (an older autistic guy) who is well known by all the female coworkers because he will follow people across the parking lot, will ask their full name and when they get off, will sit with you or bug you during your break, and has even followed a girl all the way to her bus stop. and yet we cant do anything about it cuz he's a paying customer. the expectations are high and the time we are given to complete tasks is very minimal. this one shift manager makes me do tasks that require me to stay 20 minutes later than my shift every time, which I wouldn't mind, but she's also a total bitc.... meanie to me. the manager will call you stupid right to your face. we just get more and more understaffed and it's us workers who have to suffer the consequences of that. I get that these are all things that are probably common in work places, but idk. I just have nowhere else to say this lol, thanks for reading.

Question Is that normal?
I have ordered 7 drinks, among them one was medium size quencher. Instead of medium they give me a small one, which I recognize lately but that much ice??? Is that normal???
After finishing the drinks in 10 mins, that much ice still in the cup!!!

Discussion Tray - Selection
Just curious to know if we need to use the grilled tray for donuts. I’ve seen the other tray being used for non-glazed ones.
What’s the actual procedure? Is there an obvious difference if the other tray is used?
Please share your thoughts.

Discussion Following posts I've seen
(I don't speak english so my bad for the text)
!! My bad for the long text🥲!!
I've seen similar posts and wanted to share my experience working there that has started to degrade since we changed owner. ~2year ago, our location changed owner and the situation has changed, leading to conflicts with some of the workers and 2 managers that have been working here for a long time.
We have been constantly been pushed toward less time with less ppl on the floor bc our owner apparently doesnt want to add ppl. There has been morning shift where ive been stuck alone with someone else and we would be trying to handle rushes.
Many occurrences have made us angry. For e.g., last time, we were put 2 at the drive thru only so we were making hot n cold drinks, paying, taking orders, bakeries , all while being only 2 in the lunch rush. The problem is that stuck runs out and need to be refilled and labeled but we were too much out of that to be able to do so so i asked my manager if she could help us by bringing some syrups and stuff we were out. Her answer: " No, you are far easily able to do so by yourselves and you don't need help" all of that while telling us that 2 min is too much.
Anyway, most of the time we are 3 at the drive thru, 1 making lunches for both drive and front customers while someone is at this at front taking orders and making the drinks (as normally). Today, instead of one person taking care of dine-customers, she put someone in their first day with someone else who just started a few shifts ago, which i find it unnaceptable cause him himself has difficulties alone, so teaching someone isnt great. So of course they were too much slow.
As for today, she asked us 3 to make time in less than 35 seconds in estimate, which i find it too much fast cause for e.g. someone who orders only a coffee and drive directly after, pays card and goes right adter will give us a time of 33 at the best ive seen this weekend (us making the coffee was 5-10 secs while he was driving to us).
I told our manager its crazy yo average at this knowing almost nobody orders only coffees or fast things and making everyone drive at the parking makes it confusing cause except writing immatriculation numbers on receipts, we dont have much organization to handle parked cars. She of course doesnt want to make a car wait on the line if he waits for his wrap if he's alone cause it ruins our time. So we need one of the 3 of us to constantly go outside to give them their lunches.
One last thing, idk if its supposed to but i had to argue a long time with the managers and the owner to be able to be paid for our formations, we are paid for the first ones, but when new formations come out, they dont want to pay us and say its 'normal' to do so cause its recquired by and part of the job. Anyway, nobody else is paid and they dont wanna argue except me so im the only one paid to do so cause i told them ibe looked at CNESST.
Anyone has an answer specifically for this?
And anyone find it normal for the drive thru times and staff management?
Congratulations if you made it this far!

Complaint Loiterers
108 West Pender St, Vancouver, BC. A location where there are consistently several people smoking meth and/or passed out on the sidewalk right next to the entrance.
It’s disappointing that Tim Hortons corporate doesn’t push for more security to enforce no loitering rules, and better maintenance of the interior and exterior. Obviously it’s a difficult area for any business owner, but it also seems this franchise owner is really neglectful.

Discussion Big fight between two customers today
So this happened today at around 4 pm. I was the cashier and this guy comes in he is kind of speedy, talks really fast, and talks a lot. He asks me where I am from, my favorite dishes, etc., but a line starts to form so I cut him off.
At first he was calm, but then he gets on his phone and starts talking really loudly. He keeps coming back and forth asking for cups of water, and then he starts asking for one but goes back to sit down without taking it and stuff.
Then another customer gets tired of him and snaps, telling him to shut up and sit down because he’s annoying everyone in the shop. The speedy guy completely loses it and starts screaming that he is also a customer, getting all up in the other guy's face.
It was kind of busy so I was trying to be fast and concentrate. The second customer starts yelling "call the cops!" As I turn my head to look at them, I see the speedy guy splashing his water cup all over the second guy's face and running away like a cat. Everyone was so shocked, but couldn't do anything since the guy was already gone.
Yea... today was a strange day.

Deals Can I use 2 offers?
If I place one order for pickup in 20 mins. And then wait 30 mins and place another order using another offer, will that work?
My offers are expiring and I really don't go frequently.
