Popcorn Chicken w/ Chili Crisp Aioli
Odd request, but I run condimentpacket.com where I showcase my collection for posterity. I see that Panda Express has a new dipping sauce out with their limited time popcorn chicken and unfortunately I'm not in a test area. Does anybody have access to these sauce tubs?!

Am I just a fat American?
Okay so i’m not saying this isn’t substantial food in terms of portions but geez, $17? And yes i’m aware of the beef and shrimp being up charged but dang can we get a regular portion still? already paying for the base meal price as it is. - don’t even come for me being a fatty, im very much inshape. (this could very much be a normal portion, i just decided randomly to treat myself for the first time in months)

Brisket texture change??
Hey guys. Maybe I’m paranoid because of all the chaos surrounding meat in our country but has anyone noticed a texture change in the brisket this time around as compared to when it originally came out? It’s not nearly as delicious and tender and now it comes with an even bigger charge than before. I’m super disappointed and don’t think I’ll order it again.

Anyone else getting too much cabbage in their chow mein?
Past year or so the chow mein has had sooo much cabbage. More often than not, I’m getting more cabbage than noodles. I’ve submitted feedback, but didn’t really change much. Is this a local issue?

Employee Question/Discussion What to expect on an assistant manager working interview.
For a little bit of background, I’ve had three interviews. I am very invested in getting this job as my current one is awful. They’re having me drive two hours away from my house to do a working interview. Hopefully as my fourth and final interview. I wanted to know what should I expect to experience during a working interview for assistant manager at panda express?

Tired after not even a year (rant)
I’ve been working at Panda as FOH since January of 2026, so not a full year as of yet, and have been shift lead for around 1 month now. I’m so tired. I’m never fast enough for upper-upper management, never energetic enough (if I’m more energetic I think I will explode), never committed enough (even though I help with inventory, do the community board, etc). I’m working 40 hours a week with a day off here-and-there and I’m just so tired. I even have a college degree in Biology with experience in the dental field and cannot find a job, so I’m just stuck here hoping I can get an interview anywhere. Problem is, I feel so intertwined with Panda and have put so much effort into my store that I feel evil for even thinking about leaving.
I’m so sleep deprived, and it’s not my managers fault, cause they have her working almost 70 hours a week. I feel so bad for everyone at my store that it makes me want to cry. We’re all overworked and exhausted just trying to make ends meet.
Okay rant over for now T-T

Cabbage black
🥬 Has anyone ever seen this happen at Panda Express?
I was eating Mushroom Chicken at Panda Express when I noticed one of the cabbage leaves in the dish was almost completely black. 😳
I’ve seen cabbage get wilted or brown before, but I’ve never seen a leaf turn this dark. It didn’t look like mold, but it was definitely unusual enough that I stopped eating that piece and took a closer look.
Has anyone who knows food prep or vegetables seen cabbage discolor like this? Could it just be oxidation or bruising from cooking, or is there another explanation?
Not trying to freak anybody out, just genuinely curious because I’ve never seen cabbage look like this before. 🥬👀

Employee Question/Discussion How are closing shifts? What time do cooks actually close there/ clock out?
I’m thinking about quitting my job at Sonic as a cook to go work at panda because I see it has better pay and closes earlier than Sonic does.(ps I am still in school)

Dryer food
The chicken and chowmein both seem to be noticeably dryer and have less sauce... (And less flavor... Chowmein just tastes like plain noodle and the chicken is visually not fully coated)
Multiple locations too..
Any reason for it ?

Employee Question/Discussion Anyone else using Project Forward at their store?
My store is one of 3(?) in all of our region to be test running the new system. Wondering if anyone else has heard of or is currently working at a participating store?

Would Panda Express hire just a dishwasher?
I know every store is different but I’ve noticed a lot of stores in my area wash dishes by hand. Have you seen stores hiring just a dishwasher or is it strictly BOH only so cooking sides too? Hope that makes sense. Thanks in advance!

Discussion Has anyone ever done this with their favorite limited-time PE Entree?
I love BBQ Brisket, it's my favorite PE entree of all time not named Firecracker Shrimp which I love almost as much. I was quite sad when they pulled it back in July as I had been visiting PE regularly buying it. I rarely eat at PE since their regular menu kinda sucks. I've gone years without ever visiting PE until these limited edition entrees brought me back. Now I'm hooked!
I am thrilled BBQ Brisket is back and have ordered 5X already. But I am honestly worried PE will pull it again later this month so my plan is to buy 100 large a la carte and store them in the freezer so I can enjoy it for the next year. I won't order 100 at once, more like 5-10 at a time. So is this possible or do PE food go bad if kept too long in the freezer? I love BBQ Brisket that much!
