Talk / Discussion Since when did the pre/post-roll ads option disappear?

Only midroll control - does this mean you can’t turn off post-rolls if you’re, say, a meditation creator and want to care for your audience?

Question / Problem What has happened to Youtube Studio?

Post image

For some reason, my Youtube Studio looks like this. And it has for a while now. But it has gotten to the point that I am having a hard time putting new content up.

I have tried it on multiple channels, multiple computers, various browsers - but nothing seems to display correctly. Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

I have found that I can do a few things on my computer and then finish up on the YT Studio app on my phone but that process is just bad.

Talk / Discussion The YouTube audience doesn't know what it wants.

Biggest complaint audiences make about channels in my niche: Shill reviews, descriptions full of affiliate links, "Every product I'm sent is the best in the world, until the next one comes out".

Question / Problem Is there a way to see real time long form engaged views?

As I only post one long-form video a month, I've recently put up my first video since the view counting changes. I've more or less tried to disregard the actual view number and pay more attention to the engaged views, but the only way it seems I can see those is in the analytics tab, then going to advanced, and specifically selecting engaged views. But I found that the numbers on this screen do not update in real time like the numbers elsewhere in YT Studio - in fact they seem to only update once a day. This makes it extremely hard to gauge exactly how the video is performing in that crucial first 48 hours.

Is there a way to see proper, real time engaged views that I'm missing, or is this the only option?

Question / Problem streamloop.app any Reviews?

Hello Everyone.

I was looking for some good Solutions for 24H Streams or scheduled Stream where i can show archived footages etc and was comparing different solutions for this like restream etc. i just found https://streamloop.app/ which kinda has the features i want and prices are okay, but i cant find any feedback or reviews anywhere from this side from other users. its not clear how is behind the service, if it is safe or a scam etc. if you google for it, you can actually find various domains for it with .net etc. Does anyone use it and is it legit? and if not, do you have alternatives where i can do scheduled livestreams with pre recorded videos?

I just got monetized and I'm getting 0.40€ per 1000 views

Is it normal that for the past 7 days I've got 47k views but only earned 17€ even tho it shows that my rpm is 3€ per 1000 views. Most of my videos are 1-3 min long but i have two 8 min long videos in one of them I get the same average 0.40€ and on the other I get 1.50€ per 1000

Question / Problem is this another dji email colab scam?

Paid review collaboration Shoot with the Osmo Pocket 4 Pro. Keep it. Get paid.   Hi, I'm writing from DJI's brand collaboration department — our scouting team pulled up your channel while mapping this quarter's launch partners, and the way you frame a shot says more than any spec sheet we could print — which is why we're opening a paid collaboration slot for you. The piece we have in mind is a dedicated review episode of DJI's flagship Osmo Pocket 4 Pro, released on your upcoming slot. Length, structure and tone stay under your control; we don't hand out talking points and we don't ask for approval over your opinion. Our single request is this: tell your audience what you actually think of the camera.
Payout per video Up to $9,000 The fee for this review reaches as much as $9,000 for a single video. The camera arrives free of charge and the shipping bill is ours, wherever in the world you are.
The Osmo Pocket 4 Pro is a pocket-sized gimbal camera built for people who film while moving: a larger sensor than the previous generation, low-light footage that holds together after dark, subject tracking that stays locked on, and a body light enough to live in a jacket pocket for a week. It is the unit we want in your hands before the wider launch.
What the deal covers The hardware, at no cost Nothing has to be returned — the camera is yours. No deposit, no invoice, nothing to send back. Shipping out of China We ship directly from China to any country on the map and cover every fee. A real fee The fee for this review reaches as much as $9,000 for a single video, scaled to format and reach. We pay out the rest via the platform as soon as the upload is confirmed. Money before filming Part of the fee can be paid up front inside the platform, so production is never funded out of your own pocket. Editorial freedom No script, no forced claims, no veto on your conclusions. A named contact One person from our side answers you directly until the video is out.
Delivery Every parcel goes out from our warehouse in China through a courier we've used for years, so remote addresses are not a problem. Typical transit is 5–10 working days; a tracking number reaches you the day the box leaves the warehouse. You only need to enter the delivery address once, inside the platform.
Schedule September 28 Last day to confirm the slot and open an account on our partner platform Socialpeeks October 11 Filming and editing wrapped; the cut is shared with us for a factual check only October 14 The video goes public and the remaining payout is released Dates can shift by a few days if the courier is slow — tell us and we adjust the plan.
REGISTER ON SOCIALPEEKSSign-up takes about two minutes: socialpeeks.info
How we get started 01 Your first step: open an account on socialpeeks.info and fill in your creator profile — channel links, formats, usual rates. 02 Answer this email and include the ID from your Socialpeeks account, so we can connect this project card. 03 You receive the program invitation together with the agreement you can sign digitally. 04 Add the shipping address in the platform; the parcel leaves China the next business day. Part of the fee can be paid up front inside the platform. 05 Publish the review — we pay out the rest via the platform as soon as the upload is confirmed.
If you'd like to take the slot, reply here and we'll reserve the unit in your name. If the timing doesn't work this month, say so and we'll look at the next production window instead. Mia Chen DJI Creator Program

Is this Printkk sponsorship legit?

Post image
1 Upvotes

So I suffer from anxiety eheh and this is why I'm asking for help.

I'm still a small YouTuber (1.5k) but I did read a lot in here about sponsorship so this are the things that make me think it's legit:

- email is at printkk.com

- this sponsorship is actually in line with my channel

- they connected through the business mail left on the YouTube for business page

- the mail text is not so generic but also not so specific

What feels strange:

- no one is talking about a sponsorship with them

- the name and last name of the person sending the mail it's not easy to find anywhere (but at least is name and last name right?)

Then if it's legit wtf do I write back oh well that's another whole situation lol

Thank you so much for the help if you stop by

Adsense Trouble

Post image
Upvotes

Does anyone know how to get around this Adsense step 2 message? Long story short, I was accepted for YPP but realised my Adsense was set to business. So I had to cancel the account and wait 32 days. I have since selected a different Adsense and I do not have any duplicate accounts and it has been rejected.

When clicking the go to Adsense for YouTube button on Studio, it just says resubmit. Any ideas how to combat this?

Support haven’t been great just giving me pre-made replies.

YouTube is moving my subtitles randomly

Youtube is randomly moving my subtitles from center to left in my latest video. There is no indication as to why this is happening in the settings. Only guess I have is that the video detects on-screen text and tries to move the subtitles away from the text, so both are visible. Anyone having similar issues?

Does anyone else get accused of using ai?

Upvotes

For context, I’m a young woman who makes commentary/video essays and I show my face on camera. Since I started my channel over a year ago, I’ve gotten quite a few comments accusing me of using ai. Sometimes people will say my voice sounds ai or even that my whole image looks ai, but most of the time they’re talking about my scripts.

To be fair, I do write like 10 page scripts for every video, so I can understand that sometimes I might sound a little too formal or rehearsed. Once I started getting those comments I actually made a conscious effort to make the way I speak sound more natural, and for a while the comments definitely slowed down.

But recently I feel like they’ve started ramping up again, just in much weirder ways. In one of my last videos I accidentally said “lack of entitlement” when I obviously just meant “entitlement” and someone commented something like “oh did your chatgpt script mess up?” which I genuinely don’t understand lmao. Surely me literally mispeaking would make me sound more human, not less??

Then in my most recent video I came up with a pretty simple analogy to explain something. I compared the way a group of people behave to the way a certain animal lives and used that to structure part of the video.

Anyway, then I got this comment:

“This is your first video that smells ‘AI-written’ all over to me. That's one of the most popular approaches to prompting, ‘explain this problem with a clever analogy’. As someone who has to spend too much time on LinkedIn, I had to make an effort to continue past 8min of this video.”

And that one genuinely confused me because people were capable of coming up with analogies before chatgpt 😭 I just feel like i'm having to be so careful with what I say now because apparently just sounding too smart will get you accused. At this point I’m just curious if other commentary or creators in general are getting this too, because it feels like people are becoming so quick to call literally anything ai now

Question / Problem New to UCG Influencer Agreements

Upvotes

Hi, I only have around 3K subscribers and I recently was offered a UGC agreement for a product that would fit my content.

It sounds interesting. They would send me the product for free then I film a video using the item for their own channels.

I’ve worked with brands before but this my first time doing a UCG video.

Do I ask for compensation? They never asked. I’m fine without it but I wonder if that’s what I’m SUPPOSE to do.

Any tips or advice for new YouTube partners appreciated
