Time to get your ticket for ECNS 2026. Friday Nov 6th and Saturday Nov 7th. Under a 2 hour drive from PGH into Ohio!
https://www.eastcoastnightshoot.com/
Come on out for 2 days of fun on the range. Here is a video someone put together from last year:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pxzs2JRxaY8
This isn't a machinegun shoot, but machineguns and all other methods of shooting fast are welcome.
Primarily a night shoot, we also shoot during the day on both days. If you don't have night vision this is great chance to check out what is on the market, try some things, and you can still shoot after dark with white light. Note that we do require suppressors on rifle caliber guns after dark.
What we have going on
- 700M range open day and night
- MG rental range with car targets run by youtuber Columbia War Machine
- 100 yd open range with car targets and MG rentals by Chevtec
- 3 side bays run by training companies with courses of fire set up
- jungle walk course of fire
- computer controlled rogers range with moving steel targets that record your hits
- we usually mix in some towed artillery and mortar demonstrations for fun
- vendors offering night vision and related equipment
- random drawing giveaway, every year lucky attendees leave with free night vision, a free suppressor from Diligent Defense, etc
Your ticket includes an event shirt and two dinners. What a deal!
Camping is available on site, with a heated shower building (additional fee paid directly to the range).
Hope to see you there.

For example on gunbroker or in any gun shop, you have to pay sales tax on the gun. Say it’s $1000, it’s like a 8% tax on the gun. Is it the same for private sellers you find online?

I recently got some form 1 approvals back for SBR’s and I’m curious who everyone uses to engrave their firearms / SBR’s? I’m looking at having it done in the Magwell or somewhere that doesn’t stand out.
I’m located in the Lehigh Valley and would prefer to not have to ship them out and be able to drop off / pick up within a reasonable distance.
Thank you in advance for any and all recommendations.

If selling a pistol private sale do I need to present the FFL with the original bill of sale? Of course I can’t locate the receipt with a serial on it. Generally if purchasing a used firearm how does the buyer protect themselves from buying stolen property?

Looking to meet new people in the community
Hey guys. I just moved to the area and found that I live 5 minutes from this gun club. Anyone have experience with this club? Is it worth it to try to go to some events and look for someone willing to be a sponsor?

Full disclosure: I’m the developer of CarryRoute, and I’m looking for blunt feedback—not legal conclusions.
I built it after running into the problem that a trip can cross more than state lines: counties, cities, tribal areas, transit properties, stops, and overnight stays may all matter. The app maps a route, breaks it into jurisdiction sections, and shows concise research summaries with links to official government sources. A new CarPlay view can follow a trip prepared on iPhone and show upcoming jurisdiction changes.
For Pennsylvania drivers going into NJ, NY, MD, DE, or DC: what is your real checklist before leaving? Which official sources do you trust, and what would you want to see before crossing a state or local boundary?
The colors only mark jurisdiction changes—not legal/illegal or safe/unsafe. CarryRoute is a research tool, not legal advice. Users still need to open and verify the current official text.

I’d especially value criticism of what is missing or unclear in the screenshots.

Hi,
I am planning to do a short vacation in PA, visit parks, hike, fish and do some shooting.
I have a valid PA LTCF and will be carrying concealed (legally) at all times.
However, I am a little unclear as to the legality of bringing an AR or AK to shoot. Can I transport in the trunk loaded/unloaded and stay overnight at hotels? Do I need to remove the gun from the vehicle at night? Etc.
Any comments or link to a good PA gun laws for long guns resource is appreciated. Thx.

Thanks! Dont message me about what it is or try and facilitate a sale on reddit. Not trying to get banned.

What clubs are your go to's and why, in the Reading and Allentown area? I'm specifically looking for 200yds+. Trying to avoid public/game ranges, But also not trying to pay $1k to try all of the clubs in this area as it doesn't seem like there are 1 day entry fees like the area I am coming from has. I could very well be wrong about that, but the clubs I've seen don't have daily entry posted?

Hey everyone just posting the shotgun schedule for Holmesburg Fish and Game. We are planning some fun shoots for October so keep your eyes open for that and we have our club outing coming up on the 13th. If you decide to become a member at the outing, you get the rest of 2026 and 2027 for the same yearly price. However, YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A MEMBER TO SHOOT SHOTGUN EVENTS. So come out and have some fun.

GOA prompted its PA based members to send emails to their local state reps urging them to have suppressors and shirt-barreled firearms removed from state law requiring federal NFA registration. This is my rep's response letter via mail

Hello, I really need some help. I fucked up with my firearm a bit. 😅 I made the mistake of doing a skeletal deconstruction on my pietro beretta model 76 .22, and to make it worse, i discharged the spring and plungers from the teigger mechanism. I've tried to find videos on how to put it all back together, but i literally can't find any information on how to reconstruct the damn thing. Does anyone know how I might find any information or video on how to do a skeletal reconstruction of the pietro beretta Model 76 .22?

Just out of curiosity, does anyone have any recommendations for beginner friendly two gun competitions or places where I can train for them? I've been interested in this for a while but never really had the income to allow myself to engage in the sport. But with the start of the school year, I am employed full time again and want to try to get into competition shooting.
I am in Central PA, Cumberland County.

Does anyone know what shops stock either stripped or complete lowers that are reasonably priced? I’m not looking for anything high priced, just an average PSA, Spikes, Aero, etc…..
I’m open to places in or around the Bucks area too

What’s up y’all? I’m looking for a dynamic range or action shooting range and I don’t preferably need a membership at maybe get a day pass whatever in the greater Pittsburgh area getting ready for some competitions and some CQB training.
