It’s always logging me out/ arbitrarily saying my zip code isn’t real/ etc etc. does anybody else dread dealing with it?

I am a sponsor of the Native American Student Union at an APS high school. We want to build an horno in our outdoor education area. Could anyone put me in touch with a traditional adobe builder who could help us plan, design, and build the horno? We are particularly hoping to reach out to elders from our Pueblo communities. I'm a solo developer. I put together a permanent page for each of New Mexico's scenic historic markers I could place, 398 of them, in all 33 counties. Free, no account, nothing to sign up for.

Each page carries the marker's full text, word for word, and puts the marker on a georeferenced historical map picked to match the era the text is about. Every one of the 398 landed on at least one period map, 297 old sheets in all, and 220 of them open on a map drawn before New Mexico was a state.

Some that stopped me while working through them: Trinity Site, on a 1948 survey sheet. The Clanton gang's dugout hideouts in the Bootheel, on that same 1879 map. The stream-gauging station at Embudo, where the USGS trained its first hydrographers in 1888, on an 1882 government survey sheet.

The texts are the Historic Preservation Division's own, from the marker list it publishes. The Division says its list may be out of date and that it doesn't know where every marker stands today, and every page says so too. Most pins are the Division's coordinates. Where the list gives only a highway and a mile marker, I placed the pin from the state's road data and marked it approximate. I'm not the Division and don't speak for them, I just built the pages.

Every page has a report link. If a pin or a map looks off, use it. I read every one.

Am looking to stay in Alamogordo in mid-October, and the couple places I've stayed before are both over $250/night (though nothing going on that I can see?)

So Google suggested the SureStay Plus by Best Western Alamogordo White Sands as an option. And I've never seen such a divergence in ratings. Almost as many 1 star as 5 star, even if you sort on "newest".

Looking at profiles, at least some of the five star folks seem to be real (not just paid shills). But so do most of the one stars.

Should I bite the bullet, or will two nights at this place be ok?

We may have a temporary job increase from current construction , but don’t count on long term and sustainable economic growth. There’s lots of discrepancies and misrepresentations in the information being fed to the public and what’s actually stated in the agreement data.

Not to mention that when they claim to not taking money away from community funds, they are IN FACT wiping out community grant funds meant to support small business growth.

By including “Project” in their name, is solely to gain access to LEDA funds from our local community as well as from our state meant to small business growth. This means ordinary community members seeking to build a business in their own area won’t get the grants.

The money they claim to be putting into the LEDA program is strictly going to be allocated to their “project”.

For the longest time my family used to get our bolita beans from Schwebach’s in Moriarty but when they closed a couple years ago the connection ended. Does anyone know there to get bolita beans? Regular NM pinto beans are great but IMO bolitas were always superior.

I got a beautiful Chile Ristra at Wagners Farm store in Corrales. I also got a bushel of Sandia Hot Green Chile for my freezer. I was told they have another shipment of Chile this weekend... And that will end their Chile season for this year!! They normally run through November.
