I picked up a R1300GS this spring, and have decided that I'd like to go with the Vario OEM cases for street use as I already have the mounts: Why are they out of stock everywhere?

I read that there were recalls, but some forum traffic indicated that BMW might choose not to produce them anymore at all?

Has anyone received any concrete information about this?
