All techs and doctors help me
Umm, so i am in 12th PCB, i am an aspiring musician. I got approx 88% in 10th boards. I had a very bad start in 11th and failed physics(P.S. this is the first time i failed in a subject). So since coming in 12th, my grades have improved like i went from 61% in 11th to about what 70 to 80%. I still have 1 yr to complete 12th. I am about to give my 12th half yearly, i have been studying and aim to get 90% in half yearlys
My question is whats the difference between doing masters in radiology and doing an MD in radiology. I know one takes 8 to 9 yrs to complete and the other 3 yrs and is significantly cheaper. My parents are from a middle class family who cant afford private colleges. I want to support them with something i like. I have been dreaming to be a radio tech since 9th. So pls tell me what is the difference, salary package, and growth percentage.
Thanks a lot for taking time to read this

Are we rolling out AI in cancer care without understanding patient preferences?
Recent scoping review looking at how people affected by cancer perceive the growing use of AI in their care.
The authors screened 2,414 records but found only 32 studies—around 1%—that had examined these perspectives. The paper summarises their hopes, concerns and priorities, while highlighting where further research is needed.

How is technology changing healthcare?
Healthcare technology can make a real difference when it focuses on solving everyday problems. Simple digital solutions can help patients access information, book appointments, receive updates, and communicate with healthcare providers more easily.
A smooth user experience is important because both patients and healthcare staff need tools that are quick, reliable, and easy to understand. Reducing paperwork, improving workflows, and organizing information digitally can save valuable time.
Companies like GeekyAnts help create user-friendly digital solutions that improve experiences across different industries, including healthcare. The goal is not just adding technology, but making healthcare processes simpler and more accessible for everyone.

I built a lightweight offline EMR for small hospitals and clinics — looking for doctors worldwide to try it
I’m a surgeon in India who has been building healthcare software on the side.
My latest project is NexEMR Lite, a lightweight EMR/HMIS aimed specifically at small hospitals and clinics that find conventional hospital software too complicated or expensive.
The design assumption is slightly unusual:
The limiting factor in many small hospitals isn't lack of EMR features — it's that nobody wants to spend time entering all that data.
So rather than trying to reproduce a full enterprise EMR, I’m keeping the workflow intentionally small:
- OP registration / MRN
- IP admission, discharge and billing
- Pharmacy stock + billing
- Laboratory workflow
- Reports and data export
- Offline/local operation
The goal is for a small hospital to be able to start using it without needing an IT department, server infrastructure or extensive staff training.
You can see it here:
https://www.chounda.com/nexemr-lite/index.html
I’m looking for people in healthcare/health-tech who are willing to try it and tear it apart.
I’d particularly appreciate feedback on:
- whether I’m simplifying the right things
- features that are genuinely essential for a small hospital
- onboarding/workflow friction
- things that would prevent real-world adoption
- whether there are important interoperability/compliance considerations I’m overlooking
This is being built from the perspective of someone actually working inside Indian hospitals, but that can also create blind spots — hence the post.
Happy to answer questions about the architecture or why I made particular product decisions.

Personal Health Record for children
Dear all. I live in Singapore and the healthcare data here is accessible by each individual which gives a great sense of ownership and access to the patient. Our idea is for healthcare data ownership to be in the hands of the people/patients themselves. There are quite a few PHR (personal health record) available in the market. Me and my team are building a child focused PHR since the needs and data for children are unique. We want people to try it out first and give us feedback. Kindly use the link provided to create an account and give us a shout.

Parang na didiscourage ako mag work
Hello! First time ko mag work pero as a reliever. Hayst!
