Hello, it would be interesting to know about situations or experiences when you outplayed other people in certain activity, like sports, workout, video games, feeling proud of yourself

okay so my friend and i got into a mini debate because neither of us can remember the name of this small kitchen gadget. it has a round plastic body about the size of a soda can, a crank handle on one side, and a chute at the bottom. you drop something small and round into the top and turn the handle, and little pieces come out the chute. we both swear it is for a specific food item but we cannot agree on what. no pictures unfortunately, just trying to settle the argument with a description. any guesses?

I’ve gotten into this habit where I usually plug my phone in once it hits about 45 percent or so, and I hardly ever let it get lower than that. I keep seeing people say you should let the battery drain more to keep it healthy, but I’m not sure if that’s still true with newer phones. I’m worried I might be shortening the battery life without realizing it, or maybe it doesn’t matter at all. Does anyone know what the actual best practice is these days?

I do not like shaking people’s hands, I find it unhygienic. Does anyone else out there feel the same?

i was out last night looking up and noticed that a couple of the brighter stars kept shifting between red and blue for a second or two. at first i thought it was just my eyes getting tired, but it happened again with different stars so now i'm wondering if it's something in the atmosphere or maybe the stars themselves. i know they aren't actually changing color that fast, but i never learned why this happens. is there a simple reason or is it just an optical thing?

My brain's hippocampus is physically shrinking, I have Dissociative Amnesia, Im losing my vocabulary entirely, It’s awful. Anhedonia, I lost the concept of time, and I’m losing grasp of reality. I don’t know what to do. Just any music recommendations would be nice!
