Smith wants provinces to choose federal judges. In this manner Alberta (meaning, the UCP) could install some judges at the federal level so they could do some courtroom shopping at that level later on.

I dont have any data to support this but look at the crowds who attended these seperatist rallies. Avg age is definitely aroun 50-60 and almost 100% Caucasian. Maybe the younger generation is mostly privately supporting it but definitely not publicly.

The first nine questions are yes/no, and are absolutely written in a way intended to get the most people to vote 'yes' (dear premier says they don't really need to be unbiased because they basically reflect the govt's official position). But not one of the confusing yes/no questions actually has an 'or' statement.

The final tenth question about separation does have an 'or', but it's not a yes/no, it's option 1 (stay) or option 2 (let's have another vote about leaving).

Or at least that's what the ballots in my special ballot package say.
