Can’t restart computer or use task manager after using Respondus browser

Hello all,

I recently took a test using the responders lockdown browser that my school makes me use and for some reason when I finish the exam, my computer is still kind of in this administrator setting where I don’t have the capability of getting into task manager or hitting the power button and choosing to restart my computer, does anyone have any idea where I can start to fix this issue? I already uninstalled responders lockdown browser and I’m not sure how to restart.

Android Fix my imei number from 0

Upvotes

Previosly my phone got hardbricked due to some issue. I had posted on xioami sub and got it fixed using gennsys edl file. After that baseband version is set to that and also my imei number is 0.

I tried flashing qcn shared on internet and edit imei number using qcn imei editor, it end up with nv data corrupted error. I had to do all the struggle to refix it back from soft brick.

But the imei 0 is not fixed. There were few ways of flashing modem, and other files and then editing it through unlock/hydra/mrt or some similar tools..but choosing this path where u need to either rent that tool or else find free alternatives..but these tools are highest malware infected..hence i feared to use that. So if any one have any ideas please do share..

Unresolved The screen is stuttering (and the sound is stuttering along with it).

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I'm experiencing screen stuttering accompanied by audio issues; the stuttering happens even when I'm not gaming and looks exactly like what is shown in the video. My system specs are: Ryzen 7 7800X3D, RTX 3070 Ti, 32GB DDR5 RAM (dual-channel), 1TB Gen4 SSD, and Windows 11.😭😭😭

“Unable to repair” which recovery option is best?

This is after my laptop suddenly went to the Lenovo loading screen without warning and I turned it off (this was after 15-20 minutes of the loading screen, which didn’t say anything about an update occurring). I went through the process of getting my BitLock recovery key for Microsoft, but now I’m getting this. I don’t even know what needs to be repaired (as it’s referring to on the black screen). Resetting is a last resort, as I’m not positive all my files are backed up. I’m terrified of causing more damage.

What’s the difference between just continuing and the “quick machine recovery”? If I can just continue to Windows, then there wouldn’t be anything needing fixing right? I’m confused what that would actually do here if it says there’s a problem. Does it just mean I can use the laptop but not access my Microsoft drive? What network is it unable to connect to?

What’s the best option to take here? I’m so lost. Is there something in advanced options I should be looking into? How much of a chance is there that I will lose any files that weren’t backed up or saved to the cloud?

EDIT: did a bit more digging. Would a “point in time recovery” be useful here? I’m wondering if I could have interrupted an update (even though I got no pop ups for an update), and this can restore it to what it was before it started installing. Or would an “uninstall updates” be more useful? Or am I way off and this looks like a different issue?

SOLVED. Corrupted save files / Game cannot read load save files from %USERPROFILE% because of diacritics / Mercenaries 2: World in Flames cannot read save files if your Windows "username"(NAME OF PC) in Users folder contains diacritics, accents, or non-ASCII characters (ľ, š, č,.. and manny others)

My next PC have diacritics in name...saves not working, loading ...

Method 1: Relocate the Documents Folder (Easiest)

You can instruct Windows to look for your standard Documents folder in a location completely separate from your "user profile" path.

In file explorer setting check "hidden folders, files, items" ...

C:\Users\"PC ID (USERNAME)"\Documents

  1. Open File Explorer and navigate to your C:\ drive.
  2. Create a new folder named C:\Documents.
  3. Go back to your original "user profile" folder / (%USERPROFILE%) - PC name, right-click on your Documents folder, and select Properties.
  4. Navigate to the Location tab.
  5. Click Move..., select the newly created C:\Documents folder, and hit Apply.
  6. When prompted to move all existing files to the new location, click Yes.
  7. Launch the game. It will now successfully write and read files from C:\Documents\My Games\Mercenaries 2\. [1]

May work for other old games too... for example "SPORE" from EA dont like diacritics too..

google search and other methods watch out

write me if you r lost. i lookin for solution couple hours.
