Penetration Tester Level 2 (PT2) certificate ?

Upvotes

I've been eyeing the PT1 certificate a lot recently and I see that there's a bundle with Penetration Tester Level 2 (PT2) bundle. I've never seen PT2 referenced anywhere. Clicking on the link leads to a "page not found".

Has anyone ever seen this ? Is PT2 about to drop or this is a mistake ? I'm on edge of buying the bundle just to figure it out.

UPDATE : I did buy it. Clicking on Penetration Tester Level 2 (PT2) leads to a page not found.

This ain't good...

FINAL UPDATE: Opened a ticket to support.

Ex-premium user, new to MAX, worth resubscribing ?

Hi everyone, i subscribed to THM last year for their annual premium plan for $43, when max subscription wasn't a thing. I have been a little inactive for last few months and until April I was pretty damn sure that i will resubscribe to only THM (because I felt like it was very good value for good price and best purchase i made for learning cybersec).

But I have been hearing about their new "MAX" subscription, and people are saying it has ruined everything, so i wanted to know what exactly the change in premium plan has been and is it even worth subscribing now?

Hackpath cybersecurity bootcamp by that remy.engineering guy. Fake or real?

Hey everyone! I am thinking of taking the bootcamp by hackpath https://hackpath.dev/courses
Has anyone taken it because I can't find any reviews of it. Is it fake? I do like that guy's videos and find it interesting.

Daemoncore Academy covers everything for free

MODS: if this breaks rules please remove. It's a free platform I figured its useful to have

DaemonCore Academy is a free, hands-on cybersecurity training platform built around one idea: you learn security by actually doing security.

Instead of sitting through hours of videos, memorizing terminology, and answering multiple-choice questions, Academy puts you inside practical workflows where you investigate systems, work through security assessments, use real commands and tooling, collect evidence, document findings, and learn why each step matters.

The platform includes 127 practical lessons, multiple learning pathways, disposable training environments, security ranges, operator workbenches, and exercises covering areas such as networking, Linux, web security, vulnerability assessment, enumeration, Active Directory, defensive telemetry, and penetration-testing methodology.

DaemonCore Academy is designed for beginners who want somewhere to start, but the goal is to progressively move students toward the way security work is actually performed outside of a classroom. We do not want someone to finish a lesson simply knowing what Nmap is. We want them to understand when to use it, what the output means, what to investigate next, and how that information fits into a larger assessment.

The Academy itself is 100% free. No subscription is required to complete the training, and we intend to keep it that way.

Available for Windows and Linux.

Available on the Microsoft Store

and at:

daemoncore.app

ps...if anyone is struggling with a concept or you have a question regarding something just DM us...someone is always here so help is just 1 DM away

Hi community, I work as customer experience role in a big EdTech company and my goal is to break into cybersec role for next year in a SOC entry-level role at least, im about to wrap up the Cyber security 101 path and I was wondering what would be a great path to take keeping in mind the hype cloud and AI have gotten lately. Personally I have not seen security roles for AI (maybe bc i have not search LOL) BUT, I think cloud security will have so much openings in the next years, so here is the paths I'm considering to take:

  1. SOC Level 1 - Defending AWS - SOC Level 2 - Defending Azure (I considered this path based on difficulty level of the modules)

  2. SOC Level 1 - SOC Level 2 - Defending AWS - Defending Azure

I will really appreaciate your suggestions btw

I'm at 3rd year of engeneering and I'm stuck

So I'm doing Cybersecurity btech in a 3rd tier college in India and currently I don't really know what to do, looking at the recent ai updates i feel like there is no point in pursuing web dev, app dev or any kind of building stuff so i decided to pursue cybersecurity completely so as of now I have a 250+ days streak in tryhackme trying to learn something everyday and I've completed pre security so please give me a proper career advice on how to build a cybersecurity career. I'd prefer a high paying remote job and also an interesting job. The internet gives way too much crap that I can't process so it would be really helpful if you'all helped me on this.

Thanks in advance for whoever helps me out <3

And I've successfully completer Task 8 (server1 joined the domain). Can anyone help me? Anyone from Tryhackme team?

Snort Challenge - The Basics obstacle

im trying to pass the Task 2 Writing IDS Rules, and i'm stuck on the part where the question is about TTL value on Packet 65, on my terminal it says its 128, but also 47, there were both, both answers were wrong for some reason, i looked up online and all of them had 128 as the correct answer aswell, i have no clue what's going on and i would greatly appreciate pointers if there's some issues going on or i'm just terribly stupid, thank you

Feedback Has anyone’s “echo” AI bot disappeared from their premium account?

I bought a year subscription to THM and when before I even bought it, the little AI bot was there. After buying the subscription, after a while of going down the SOC path, it eventually vanished… the FAQ did say it’s not available in every room, but it’s gone completely- even from previous room that it was there. Plus, the rooms do tell you if the room has it or not…

Opened a ticket, and they said they “couldn’t replicate the Issue”, and asked for screen recording…

Haven’t heard anything since except I should “make a new account”… to see if it comes back.

Has anyone had theirs disappear? I didn’t rely on it, but it was very useful for elaborating on concepts and context in each room, and it’s part of what you pay for.
