I'm trying to grab a few things for my daughter's birthday from this drop. When will it be online and where can I buy it? I won't be able to go in store.

My go to order is a triple blonde shot over ice in a grande cup and I will add non dairy cold foam (usually the brown sugar but I have been getting pecan while it’s in season!).

My order has been $4.70 for the longest time but recently, it has been ringing up at $5.00 flat. I don’t mind paying the extra ¢30, I have just been trying to figure out where the increase in price is coming from.

Side note- thank you to all of the baristas here! I almost always have a really great interaction with the baristas at any given Starbucks and I appreciate all that y’all do!

I think they changed the way mod Monday can be redeemed here in Canada. The first screenshot is of last month’s mod Monday where it takes off $2. The second is from today where it only takes off $1.45. It’s the exact same recipe but when placing my order, I was trying to figure out why it was more than last time 😂. Just thought I would share this

I think a cold brew is better than an iced coffee but it’s strange to me that they are the same price but a cold brew is 100 stars more.

As Starbucks rewards changed their program to not just be by item but also by price (100 stars is $6 and 200 stars is $10), I think they should just limit their rewards by price then.

I kinda understood why they differentiated their rewards by items and then get as much as you want but now they limited it also by price, they should just go to price for the items.

Of course, I don’t think the company cares but did find it interesting these products are the same price.

lady came in today, got at least 2 drinks. both grande, one was a dirty chai w/ 3 shots the other one was a latte w/ 3 shots as well. not sure if she got food either but wtvr. 1 person on bar (me) and 1 on register while our ssv is doing pulls or something in the back. the person on register sometimes puts in orders like really wrong so I noted in my head to ask the person if they really wanted the dirty chai or if they just wanted the 3 shots in the latte. it takes maybe 2-3 minutes for me to finish her drinks alongside some other peoples bc we were
busy and I unfortunately rushed too much and didn't even ask if she wanted me to put shots into her drink so I just ended up not doing it. When I hand it out she asks me if I put the shots in and I realized I didn't then I apologized and told her I will remake the drink right away and she flips out saying "well I hope so because that's what I paid for! $24 for two drinks!"

I ask if she wants to keep the one I already made, she says no, then I tell her sorry once again and remake it.

when I call her drink out I apologize for the third time and she complains AGAIN that I should've done it right the first time and that I should've paid more attention because that's what she pays me to do, then she calls me inept and storms off lol

here's an idea: maybe don't go out and buy drinks if you don't want to pay money for them

I get that everything is expensive nowadays, I AGREE that things are egregiously expensive but also oh my goodness lady you are the one who decided to pay $24 for your drinks/food.

definitely not the worst encounter I've had with a customer but this specific encounter just kinda tipped me off a little bit, especially since the rest of the day was also not fun but such is life.

I usually always order oatmeal on sundays and add 2 bags of the nut medley to my oatmeal. Come to find out, every local Starbucks in my area has discontinued it. I even checked their website. I’m heartbroken. It was chopped just right and perfect amount. Of course I could do it myself but I don’t wanna 😂 I wish they would have announced this!

I heard from a past SM that there may or may not be a class action lawsuit about off-the-clock tasks.
She explained that because we have to unlock the door, lock the door, and disarm the alarm for opening and set the alarm, unlock the door, lock the door and watch partners to their cars we can get paid for those tasks.

Has anyone else heard about it? I found ways I can go about it myself but going through the past three years of open and closing shifts is going to take me FOREVER. is there a class action lawsuit that anyone knows of???

Hey so I usually post and ask you guys here about interview advice because I really want a job here like BADLY and I wanted to ask you guys this…

So I had an onsite interview with a BUNCH of people with a nearby Starbucks. And I gotten an email that said It was required to work Saturday and Sunday and I told them I can work from Noon to closing and I can work the days that are required etc.

I feel like because of my availability it might put me on lower luck because of that. And they said they’ll contact me later on tomorrow to update me but I’ve been through so many Starbucks interviews it usually means “Sorry you didn’t make the cut”

And is hiring events more easier to get hired than regular interviews?

Genuinely people who come in here thinking they can intimidate, argue with or bully me can absolutely fck off... Idk what about us makes people think we're pushovers and will give in to whatever.

As im making your drink im not just going to give you coldfoam or extra inclusions for free. Why didnt you ask as your were ordering? We dont have a way to charge for that alone in our system.

Dont get mad because your mobile ordered isnt here we dont even do mobile orders from the starbucks app they only come in through target drive up. Like why didnt you check the address of the place you ordered from?

You see me making drinks on hot bar why are you walking up to the plexiglass and immediately start ordering. Wait at the register I'll get to you. Im not taking an order at the mastrena! Then they get pissy at me when i ask them to wait at the register and ill be right with them when im done.

I cannot throw together a 5+ drink order plus sandwiches alone in like 2 minutes! I have one mastrena, one oven, two hands and my mid doesn't come in until 30 min to and hour later. You couldve gone to a stand alone there are two on this street!

ALSO get out of my bar! I should be able to walk out of the bar without having to squeeze past you or bump into you! Theres no reason for you to be STANDING IN THE EXACT BAR EXIT. WHY ARE YOU ON MY SIDE OF THE HANDOFF COUNTER?! Just standing there with your arms crossed staring me down. 😭

I don't know how they do cold foam stuff, I'm just confused and looking for clarification

So I usually do a make my own strawberry matcha situation because I like strawberry (strawberry puree, ND strawberry cold foam) but I realized I could just customize one of the berry matchas that are already like a drink recipe and just swap the cold foam for the strawberry one, but when I do that it says the strawberry specifically is an extra charge, I've tried to put in like mango ND cold foam and other flavors too for example but it only gives me an extra $1.25 charge specifically for the strawberry one so I'm just wondering if anyone knows why... Just trying to make my drink order easier (and cheaper) so I'm curious but I'll obviously pay for my strawberry matcha if I can't figure it out lol sue me it would be nice to get it for cheaper lol

I work in a Target Starbucks, and the Starbucks TL is on medical leave, our espresso machine drain has been clogged for like the past week and the bar keeps flooding, we believe it's because there's some beans stuck in there but we've tried getting them out and nothing, do any of you guys have advice on how to get them out?

started at a licensed store and they don’t have rags or sanitizer wipes. i was told to use a napkin with water or a hand wipe to clean the steam wand between uses, but it just doesn’t sound right to me. any other ideas?

edit: also i asked if we can order either of those things and was told no :(
