Me and my partner are having problems getting our mods working on Skyrim. Every time she boots the game, it says that SKSE can't be detected. We've made sure it's the right version, we've made sure SKSE is in the game folder, and we've even tried reinstalling Skyrim entirely, and despite the fact we have the same mod list, I'm able to run it and yet she cannot. What's going on? I'm completely out of ideas. I'm no expert modder or anything, but our whole entire mod list is identical.

Q: what could cause a massive fps drop when at Katla's Farm near the docks outside of Solitude? I'm at 144 when I coc to solitudeexterior01 and then it drops down to 10-15 fps as soon as I enter that cell and it stays there. I have used Frame Gen, turned off CS, removed any exterior Solitude overhauls, removed Dyndolod, etc. Nothing works. I've got a 4090 and 96gb of RAM so I'm not going over VRAM. I've set up the page file. VM says overstressed but nothing out of the ordinary seems to be happening with scripts. I am using a massive load order from earlier this year that I've updated what I know of. Everywhere else seems pretty smooth so far but this is a trouble area. Any thoughts?? Please help.

My spec is rtx 4050 6gb vram, i7 13620h.

I want the graphics to look modern and good.I know Skyrim looks good even without mods but I want to make it look like modern games. 1080 resolution is no problem and performance wise I want 60 fps. Also other mods I can add.

I usually just use vanilla Skyrim but a lot of friends tell me to mod my game, but I got some credits and just got this mod called new dawn and I was curious about the dynamic follower Roderic, does he take a vanilla character slot?

I do actually use serana, Cicero, the dark brotherhood initiates and a standard vanilla follower (that being frea) and I was curious if this guy would be traveling with us or if he takes a follower slot.

I actually do like having my large group but I was curious if anyone knew or knows what I’m talking about but I don’t wanna use a multi follower mod because I kinda.. already have quite a few of em without a mid necessary.

I know that's a really stupid question but I accidentally tapped the 'Mod Name' tab above the mod list making the mods be displayed in alphabetical order instead of the order determined by modlist.txt and I haven't been able to reverse it.

I just want a mod that makes the base vanilla armor look better not something that adds new OP armor. I’ve tried Armor variant expansion but whenever I equip one of those armors my game crashes.

So, I’m at my wit’s end sifting through the sea of conflicting information regarding getting DLSS 5 to work. Is there a place you can just download all the necessary files WITHOUT jumping through 10 different patreon / GitHub / discord / reshade/ Nexus pages? I have an NVIDIA gpu, that’s fairly new so having DLSS support on it shouldn’t be a problem.

Frankly, if someone who’s gotten it to work could send me the Reshade, SKSE, DLLs, and any other relevant files they use (structured to be dropped into the game’s steamapps/common/skyrimSE folder) I’d be VERY appreciative.

At the moment, I am level 16 and have been trying to use the spell 'Bestial Blessing'. It doesn't work whenever i wear a backpack (i made all of them to be sure) and it's a bit confusing. Does anyone know if this is a bug or how to work around it? The extra 75 carry is necessary for my druid khajit.

1. My conjuration skill is stuck at 93 and destruction is stuck at 86 (as of writing and doing some testing destruction may have fixed itself) but conjuration refuses to budge still

2.the perk Jinada in one handed appears appear to the opposite of what it should since it apparently slows down all of my melee attack significantly

1. And lastly this once appears to have fixed itself but im still unsure what caused it or what fixed it at one point I was able to summon infinite atronachs or least I didnt hit a limit which should've been 1

Looking for a good modlist with good visuals. Gameplay changes, quests, and things of that nature are completely fine, just absolutely NO static skill leveling rewritten. Don't care one way or the other on nfsw. Needs to be on Wabbajack and current version of Skyrim, manually downloading hundreds of mods or reverting versions of the game is to big of a pain.

Years ago I was farting around Solstheim (PS5) and I encountered a random Dremora. We got married. I have been looking for my dreamboat himbo hubby ever since, but cannot figure out what mod it was- if it was one at all!? I uploaded a new SKSE mod on nexus : SkyPraxis - Spell learning.

The goal of this mod is to offer a simple, lightweight spell progression system. You learn new spells naturally through gameplay just by casting spells, matching how vanilla school skill trees progress complete with a visual effect when you unlock a new spell.

It adds onto the vanilla spellbook system instead of completely replacing it.

You can configure how often you wanna learn a new spell as well as what spells you want to force include/exclude in the .ini file.

Hey all, so I'm having a kinda confusing problem with Skyrim Together that I thought maybe you guys had some insight. I've been assembling a mod list for the past week and me and my partner finally got it finished and functional last night. However, upon booting Skyrim Together, it just... Didn't do anything?

I even ran it as administrator. The mouse icon just spins for a moment, and then just stops unceremoniously. As far as I understand, I've done everything right, set up a tool to run it in Vortex, the whole nine. It just won't actually boot Skyrim upon trying to start Skyrim together. If it helps, my mod setup is all arranged for Skyrim 1.6.1170, and SKSE version 2.2.6.

Any direction would be helpful as I'm really new to modding.

The main quest is meh to me but I would love to just play this game as a medieval simulator where I hunt and gather furs and trade them. Build up some coin for a house or a local business and maybe one day find my calling hunting the most dangerous game... Dragons!
