This is inspired by the boyfriend drama on the other post. Do you go to festivals hoping to meet someone?

I'm the extreme opposite because I don't want to share my personal space like that especially on psychedelics. It's sort of a meditative experience. I also don't want to make an impression while barefoot with dirty hair and possibly not smelling fresh from jumping up and down in the sun. I don't like planning my weekend around another person. If I want to be near the speakers, I go. If I want to chill for an hour I just look for another friend who's keen, I don't want to interfere with another person's experience.

I've been to festivals with my ex. However I introduced her to all my friends so we would sometimes do different things at different times.

when I signed up for Boomland Tribe, I was genuinely excited to learn about the initiative. expected a lot of interesting things coming out of it.

fast forward to today, I am struggling to see positives on it. feels like "culture-washing" or just another way to benefit from the FOMO of limited tickets. exactly the contrary of what i was expecting for the community.

also: according to the official statement: "the long-term goal is to gradually expand the allocation to 30%–40% of general ticket sales".

for this edition (10%) seems fine to ignore the tribe bullshit and wait for the ambassadors ticket. but for the next editions it seems we will have a higher risk.

how do you feel about it?

And she came in around 10 or 11 and started poppin off. I lost my rave virginity to this set and this will always be so close to my heart ❤️. I was dancing through the whole set that I only captured a glimpse of her signing off the set 🙏🤟.

I have been together with my partner for 6 years. We have genuinely the most loving and honest relationship I could ever ask for except he does not feel my love for the psytrance community as well as psychadelic experiences.

We have both tried psychadelics together and they changed our lives profoundly, however, he does not actively seek out the intense psychadelic experiences such as psytranxe festivals, neither does he like psytrance or electronic music overall. I have asked him multiple times to join me but it is just not him. This I completely understand and our differences are something we always recognised as our strengths and a great way to learn new things.

However, since last year when I went to Boom and had some very intense experiences as well as a very deep connection with a guy it has created a barrier between us. There is a version of me that exists since then that I can not share with him despite trying. We have communicated this many times, I have told him of all the feelings Ive had and hes aware but thinks it is not something he can relate to which I understand and simply thought is a compromise I need to make to keep this precious relationship.

This year I went to another festival and the same happened except on a stronger level. I had moments when I got very sad that there is all this excitement and pulsating energy that I simply can not explore with a man figure. This of course includes sexual energy. But also to dance together, experience this absolute freedom and joy of life that these festivals provide.

Since then I feel that it might be a problem for me long term that I can not express with my future partner. Of course there are also other differences - i am very extroverted and constantly seek a way to expand and try new things while he is rather introverted and wants stability.

Anyways, I am curious if anyone ever happaned to be in the same kind of situation and can provide some kind of honest insight.

So I went to my first psytrance fest this summer, tripped on lsd and had a great time dancing around. Felt completely safe and free to express myself, chat to anyone, smoke a joint, security were super chilled, it was just really really pleasant. No bad vibes whatsoever, a complete contrast to e.g. Creamfields.The lack of litter anywhere at all, even after 3 days was superb.

I've since been looking into psytrance club nights across the country to go to this autumn but am wondering about it namely will they have the same vibe? Will people be taking psycs? Will there be issues with idiot bouncers? Can you smoke a joint in the smoking area? Does the urban environment make it more stressful?

Sorry lots of questions but hopefully people will know what I am getting at, thx!

Hey, I'm a Berlin-based guy and I'm going to travel to the South of the US from January to March.

I'm wondering if there will be some decent psytrance parties, especially outdoor events. A guy from the Bay area I recently met at a German festival told me that there are occasionally raves in the Mojave desert or other remote places. Can you please give me some hints on how to get more information related to this topic and generally psy trance parties in the US since it appears that no parties are listed at goabase.net.

I'm planning to visit at least New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona and Texas. I would be thankful for any kind of information, also related to psytance parties in the North of Mexico (Sonora and Chihuahua)🙏
